There is not one but many realms making up the tangled web of creation. These realms have existed in isolation since the dawn of time, each governed by individual deities, spirits, and laws driving the cycles to their whims. As the eons passed the deities gradually abandoned their given realms allowing the vale between to weaken. When the fabric of reality finally fades, the deities, friends, and foes alike will make themselves and their desires known to the next generation of ascended. Deep in the Earthen realm, a young man suffers yet another tragedy in his short existence and is forced to return to a place he once called home. As he attempts to settle into a life of peace surrounded by new and old friends alike the mysteries surrounding his uncle's wealth and recent passing will lead to things he could have never imagined. Spoiler Fractured Realms - Season 1: The Veiled Kingdom is a romantic fantasy adult visual novel with political intrigue and mystery throughout. At its core Fractured Realms is a harem novel and you will be able to view most content with all the main girls on a single playthrough. Just like in the real world, each girl has a different personality and will progress with the player at different rates. All sexual encounters within the novel will have the player's direct control allowing them to choose the level of interaction they want the other harem members to have with each other during the individual encounter. There will be no other male characters aside from the player character in any sexual scenes.

v0.6.1 Episode 7 Moment of Peace Part 1 v0.6 Dialogue: ~18k Renders: 560 Animations: 5 There have been some pretty big overhauls to the dialogue in all past episodes, so this may be a point where a new play through is warranted. We've had an editor go through and clean up word choice, grammar, and any additional spelling issues that were still present making everything much easier to read. The bugs in the adult scenes have been corrected, now views actually change from the Sumida virginity scene on wards as they were intended. There have been a lot of other bugs fixed throughout the replay gallery as well as a complete revamp of the menu system and settings. v0.5.1 I hope you've all had a fantastic week, if not hopefully a little Fractured Realms this weekend will help to make up for it. The 0.5.1 content patch is now live, this includes this first half(ish) of Episode 6 and ends on a bit of a cliffhanger. The 0.5.2 content patch is well underway with a progress update coming out tomorrow that will include some additional Studio announcements. I believe I have corrected all of the reported bugs for this release except for two, famous last words, and I still need to verify the Veen pregnancy achievement. There is still an issue changing views in the last two adult scenes, when clicking the button the view remains. In addition the black screen when the animation repeats, I have been unable to find a way to fix this within RenPy so I am going to render out 3-5 minute animation loops in order to reduce the problem until I find another option. v0.5 Changes Merger 0.4.1 & 0.4.2 Audio addition to 0.4.1 & 0.4.2 scenes Adult content changes: All adult scenes moved to adult.rpy and all lead ups sanitized if this file is missing. Steam Achievements: Base code for all initial achievements has been entered and achievements will go live during the public release. Episode Selector: Reskinned and Updated with Episode 5 Replay Gallery: Reskinned and updated with the two scenes from Episode 5 Steam Achievements: Baseline code has been implemented. Introduction Changes: You can now choose to name all characters during the intro, during game play, or set them to default to be changed later. I've also added some of the adult scene-related variables to the intro as well. This can be chosen to be completed there or during game play (Blood and Sleeping variables). Outro Changes: Updated ending to be cohesive with all changes made thus far and added an image for the website. Nicole Animations: Re-processed Nicole's animation from the 0.1 into video form smoothing out the frame rate. Bug fixes, so many bug fixes, not only reported but many that I found as I was fixing other problems. All reported bug fixes have been corrected for this release aside from the Sumida02 scene where her clothes are still on in between position transitions. 0.5 - Known Issues Bugs: When accessing and starting Episode 1 through the Episode selector it immediately throws an error. If you encounter this bug, attempt to start normally with the Start button on the home menu or switch to another episode and back before starting. Animations Sumida & Nicole: Video animations have a split second of a black screen between repeating. This has to do with the way RenPy runs the videos. I've extended the animation videos to +/- 10 seconds to reduce the frequency of this as I look for a resolution. If I cannot find one by the next release I will extend the animations further. v0.4.1 N/A 0.3 Total Content: Episodes 1-3 Renders: 3,705 Dialogue: 41,464 v0.2 Episode 2 - Renders: 2,377 - Dialogue: ~29,000 v0.1 Fractured Realms Season 1: The Veiled Kingdom Episode 1: Inheritance - Complete (Demo/Pilot) Total content in 0.1 Dialogue: 17,200 (+7k from 0.0.5b) Renders: 809 (+450 from 0.0.5b) Animations: 13(Normal) 10(Adult) This release marks the end of Episode 1: Inheritance and the completed demo. v0.0.5 Fractured Realms Season 1: The Veiled Kingdom Episode 1: Inheritance - Part 1 (Demo/Pilot) Dialogue: +10,000 Renders: +350 Animations: +4 - General: 1 - Adult: 2 Animations 2 Framerates Music: +4 Tracks Lines: ~2900 (Code+Dialogue) The old saves may not work, you have to start a new game.

The models are good and story is decent and interesting enough to play. The dialogue errors and spelling need work. The animations are horrible. Take a little extra time and make sure the characters don't look like throwing two mannequins together. The angles in animations make no sense as there are no POV shots in doggy (stop focusing on her face when doing doggy, that's what missionary and cowgirl are for). The menus during sex are in the way. You can do an arrow advance suystem to change positions without getting in the way of the already poor animation. The gallery is an unnecessary scrolling menu when you can just have the scene thumbnail in a simple grid and filter by LI. It seems dev is focusing on the wrong things and is missing out on the potential of their game.

English :............ 8 /10 User Interface :..... 3 /10 User Experience :.... 7 /10 Art :................ 7 /10 Dialogue :........... 4 /10 Story :.............. 7 /10 Opinion :............ 5 /10................ Avg:............. 5.86 /10 [2.93/5] I sort of remember playing this. It didn't make me angry, I assume. So, there's that. Or at least not angry enough to remember it. But, ultimately, I don't remember anything about it. So it didn't leave an impression. Not a ringing endorsement. Bits I do kinda remember: A sword, multiple worlds, poor power scaling, and a princess? I think. What little is coming back to me is a bunch of convoluted world building that doesn't work and not a lot else. Upon starting, it has a character introducing the game like an actor. I'm very tired of this trope. It's not witty, it's not creative, it adds nothing to the story. Just have a dev character say what needs to be said and move on. Don't waste time rendering 4 poses of a character smiling at the player. This also does the "Don't worry, my timid little snowflake. Any content your poor little mind can't handle is optional. So no ICKY kisses between girls or anything like that." I hate this. If you need to know every tiny detail of what you're about to see just go watch the same 10 porn vids you've been watching for the last 5 years. If you can't handle girls kissing in a harem game, you're no better than the "snowflakes" you undoubtedly make fun of on twitter. I get it for more extreme fetishes like BDSM, scat/urination, and stuff like that. But if I have to see content warnings every time I boot up anything now I'm going to lose my mind. Try something new, you might like it. Spoiler: Long Review Onto the game. Like I said, it starts with the characters introducing the game. Yawn. Pass. Then it shows MC on a train to his now dead uncle's estate. He's recounting his lot in life to himself because writing. He was fired, lost his fiance and best friend and is living off his savings. I'll say this, yeah, I relate to this. But this intro, both sections, is so overdone. We don't see any of it happen, we just get TOLD that his life sucks. Show him riding the train, depressed, then flash back to what's caused it. SHOW. Not TELL. I also want to ask "what's with the redhead on the train?" She is shown to be foreboding then never shows up agian. Anyway, little notes, the artifacting is awful, the angles are weird. I know "this will improve over time" while you learn from the same pool of knowledge every other dev uses. But you should still SILENTLY improve early renders. What that means is just redo a few early ones and add it to an update. Not waste an entire update cycle to redo old content. But after the train we meet Callie. The animation isn't smooth on her reveal so it looks cheap. Callie, like most of the girls I rememeber in this, are all the most naive and pure creatures that have ever existed. It's frustrating. This type of female not only doesn't exist, but it gets annoying, too. EVERYBODY knows no human is like this, please stop writing them like this. Either way, I got my gripes about it out of the way early in hopes someone else feels the same. Moving on, Callie takes MC to his uncle's house. There's interspersed tidbits in their conversations about MC growing up. It's kinda dumb "MC was trained from a young age to do all the martial arts and all the weapons because....?" To make him a "badass" later, when he gets magic powers? It feels forced already. We already don't know if this is our earth or just some other earth-like reality, so we have to assume some of this is normal. But MC is, of course, internalizing everything and telling you, the reader, all the things you can infer or fill in gaps you can't. So more TELLing you, not SHOWing. Frustrating. After MC sits down for the night, he finds his uncle's laptop with a farewell letter and a spreadsheet of his wealth. No one questions "Why did a man that died suddenly of a heart attack have this set up?" But whatever. So he's rich, got a house and cars, even a live-in maid. (That they made sure to tell you she wasn't "tainted" by the uncle, god forbid...) And instead of MC asking her "Hey, where do you come from" because no accent is hinted, no facial features distinguish anything. He tries to dance around the subject because...? I do not know. Yeah, she's short about her past, but a simple "where're you from" harms nobody(speculation: shes from another world). Then she drops MC off at a park because every game is legally required to have that same park with the tunnel in it. Where MC reunites with Jacob, an old friend. From what little you gather, Jacob is possibly the "horny brain" insert. You know, the character that spouts all the "Damn she's hot" lines. Which is immediately what he does, sadly. He takes MC to a maid cafe to where the maid that doesn't like him, likes MC immediately for NO REASON. And this also establishes MC has a "temper due to loyalty." Which, outside of MC being cheated on, we don't know why he would(and never do). Also, Jacob has terrifying brown teeth. But wait, as Jacob leaves, Nicole shows up. MC's old flame that he left behind. To who he recaps everything he's already said 3 times now. And right away, you get a poorly lit sex scene because lighting is hard. It's not even looped well. It's over, not soon enough, and Callie calls MC in time for her to be attacked with her only friend. Because attacking women in broad daylight is something that is smart. MC even says the cringey "Never raise your hand to a woman" meaning this was written to be a weird white knight. Ugh. MC rushes to save them, gets kicked in the balls and passes out. But a magical elf tells him "No" and he wakes up after getting his head pounded, to white knight for them. Yeah, sure, defend people when they need it. But this dialogue is not good. And the punching images are awful too. Wow. But because MC is the main character, a cop comes out of nowhere and arrests the guy getting beaten on the ground. Luckily the victim was the cop's niece. And she's treated like a child the whole time, to the point where it looks like she's in a carseat in the truck. It's weird. And don't worry! It's chock full of "MC hearing all the women talking about him because he's not allowed to be surprised by someone liking him" lines of dialogue. And it's full of scenes where characters stare at MC while talking to each other because having them look in more than one direction is too hard. Anna and Callie gush about MC until they leave and MC has the AUDACITY to say "Can't believe I got dropped by a nut shot." ARE YOU SERIOUS? While I'll say it's weird he passed out from it, EVERY MALE EVER was designed to be incapacitated by getting hit in the nuts. NO AMOUNT OF TRAINING can help you deal with that. Outside of maybe self mutilation/flagellation. Even then the human body is built to stop when the gentials are hit. So, NO, MC, no matter how "in-shape" you might need to get, you got hit in the nuts. Shut up. Then, finally, we start the story. MC's uncle's business partner, Charles Dullin, shows up to talk to MC. Charlie is a local(?) billionaire and they just foreshadowed his importance the night before, saying he owns a lot of property. Before any information can be said, Charlie uses magic on MC, cleaning and changing his clothes. So he's not only MC's entry point for money, but also magic. Then he snaps his fingers and they teleport. I kinda remember he comes up a lot, later on. So I think you're supposed to feel "Wow magic is real!" but then "Oh no the magical billionaire is actually evil" down the line. So it just becomes "money evil" type stuff. Again I don't quite remember, so maybe there was a little more nuance, but I don't hold my breath. And somehow, MC doesn't have an existential crisis when shown magic, that no one even knows if he might have. Wow. After brushing that off he goes to the cafe again. Flirts with Nicole again and neither her nor Emily recognize him for a minute. Which prompts BOTH of them to be aggressive to him. They're already interchangeable. But once they realize it's him, they roll over and fall more in love with him because writing. He chats with the detective from yesterday because only 10 people exist in this world. Then Nicole starts her cuckquean self and sets MC up with Emily by urging him to take her out. This highlights another bad trope in AVNs, MC can psychoanalyze everyone he meets perfectly. SOMEHOW he knew Emily put on a fake smile, him only knowing her for 20 minutes total. And her, knowing him for the same amount of time... Invites him to the bathroom, drunk, to lose her virginity? What. And then, because they finally realized no one wants grainy sex animations, they break the 4th wall to suddenly have more light in the bathroom? Great. Now, can anyone tell me WHY that just happened? No? Great because it was completely unearned and made a shit character. Anyway, he has Nicole order him a ride home because he can't walk for some reason. So we got zero important info from Charlie and Emily wanted sex with a stranger. What a great day. When MC falls asleep, another god(not sure what they are, don't remember and its not said yet) talks at him, saying they can't wait for him to come back. Then he's teleported to a dungeon in another world. Why and how? Won't know for a while. But Veen, a greater spirit, is already attached to him. And you get to see the worst walking loop someone could make. Why they made the choice to loop it at these points that in NO WAY make a loop? Nobody knows. Right away, I want to point out how hilariously weak the worgen thing was. It looked like it fell on his sword and killed itself. Later on you learn that people can't get past level 10, he's at level 100. That difficulty curve has to be a straight line. Anyway, MC finds a living book called The Sage. He transfers his power to MC because "plot" and they do the isekai thing of magic is a video game UI. After that's done, you finally see Veen. Now, I know the issues of making a human character have animal ears. A LOT of people just give them 4 ears and call it a day(2 human 2 animal). This wasn't the best implementation. It's awkward at best and makes her look a little dopey. She gives you the rundown on how MC is now ultra powerful because he can use magic along with having a spirit that can use it too. Chosen one, yadda yadda. This is also, I think, the third time they act as if 3 questions is a lot. MC asks three questions, gets half an answer total and acts satisfied. Why? And the longer they keep using these jerky animations the less I want to see. I'm glad they're not a bunch of images dissolved together, but still. They do not look good. Next day? Time is wonky when MC travels to the other world so, I'll just say next day and assume I'm right. Veen(terrible name by the way) teleports MC to the dungeon again, this time closer to the people he heard about last time he was there. He's given the "magic tutorial" of "Imagine what you want to happen and it does." Little weak, but I'll allow it. When MC wakes up, again because this is an AVN and MC has to sleep constantly, from using up his power to heal Gabby, you get a double dose of lore dump from Sumida and Gabby. More non-answers and Sumida is already in love with MC. Wow. That's at least three if not five women already in love with MC and NO time has passed yet. When MC wakes up after sleeping YET AGAIN, him and Sumida are laying in a position no conscious human would ever be in. And, if you chose to, she's already trying to having sex with MC. Because why would there be romance or character building in a Harem game? That's absurd. At least the sexual animation had a few more frames of animation this time. Baby steps. Can we talk about the overuse of *heh*? Stop this, I feel like I'm reading an edgy fanfiction, or Sonic the Hedgehog dialogue every time I see it. Then he transfers back to earth. Everyone tries to talk to him at once because of course they do. Lisbeth met up with him just to ask him a yes/no question. So that was a waste of time. And Nicole invites him out to... Tell him nothing? I think it was to tell him she lost her job and home? But she never fully says it. Between that and the fact it constantly switches from day to night in the background and her drink keeps filling up I was a little distracted. Anyway, the cuckquean is moving in because of course she is. MC also had all his muscle sliders set to max in the other world so now he's an avatar for an inferiority complex. And it rounds out the day with sex with Nicole with a terrible menu layout to see the slow motion sex scenes, then he falls asleep again. I think that's 4 times in this short span of time MC has went to sleep. Wow, thrilling. He then wakes up to sex with Veen. The bad sex menus are still the norm and the animations still aren't good yet. Then, right after, he teleports to his other body with Gabby and Sumida. For more lore dumps. He sits in front of the worst 3D animation of fire as Gabby exposits more of the world to him. Honestly, it still feels like people are telling MC things but not actually saying anything. This other world is dying and they need the dungeon for resources. People without magic need to do a ritual for some reason. And plenty more vague statements from Gabby. Then, after being thrown in a cell, he teleports away to Corin to get exposited to EVEN MORE. First question "How do you know about me?" Gabby somehow told her all about him in the TEN SECONDS he was in jail? Sure... When you try to ask about the dungeon, all she says is it was built by some guy, great. So more non answers. This is getting pretty frustrating. After that "illuminating" talk, Sumida shows up for no reason and the dead stares and emotionless poses are getting distracting as well. But no time for that! Nicole has now been transported to MC's weird in-between realm thing that makes no sense(and isn't ever returned to). Luckily this time the exposition happens with a topless girl, we can't have the reader get too bored with the MOUNTAIN of lore dumping that's been happening. Three more questions, this time about the king. He's an asshole that wants to evaluate MC, and MC can't leave or people might die. When he's escorted to meet the king, you get awful banter with Ildaria. Instead of not being a piece of shit, when Ildaria expresses her disinterest in MC, he does the "date rapey" thing of "I'm not one to back down from a challenge." Are we supposed to think that's charismatic or cool? Because that just screams "She either says yes, or yes later." He already has 6 women frothing at the gash for him. Why is he suddenly trying to pursue her? He hasn't tried to pursue ANYONE, they just magically throw their vaginas at him. My god. When MC is finally pushed to talk to the king you get.... More exposition! The world is dying and they built a kingdom around the labyrinth. They have strict population control and the king doesn't care about his people. And MC is only staying because Gabby and Sumi would be punished if he left. People he has known for about 4 hours. I get not being an asshole, but as the player, I see no reason for him to even be on the planet. Then the tests start and MC is super strong and able to do whatever, only... We already knew that so this is just repeating information. The test bugs out and MC suddenly starts teleporting to see Charlie act foreboding, and Nierty acts like she's never seen MC before? I guess? Then Nicole and Veen do more sex with MC after he's thrown back to his dimension. Which pushes him, again, back to earth. So we're still learning nothing, MC's already a god, and nothing has happened yet. When you do power scaling, there needs to be a reason. We can't compare MC to anyone yet because no one is remotely close to how strong he is. This is a problem because that makes it boring. People can only be stronger than MC when the writer says "it's true now." And even then it's more just "trust me bro" type information. When MC wakes up, again, Nicole is essentially like "Wow magic is real" she's supposed to be quietly freaking out and MC sees it, but because the posing is stuff, lacks subtlety, and can't do more than happy sad or neutral, none of it translates. They have a half-assed conversation and Nicole pawns MC off on Emily again. Why? Because nothing matters. MC is inviting 3 women he's known for 2 days at best to live with him. Either way, MC's full on teleporting and using whatever magic he wants now. Again, there's no training, no hero's journey, just "MC super strong, girls like him" awesome. Having a smarmy, "I know everything" MC is boring, cringey, or annoying. He went to school for BUSINESS but is a psychology expert somehow? On top of MC suddenly getting muscles so every person in every world has to comment on how big his muscles are. GIVE ME A BREAK. Moving on from my tirade. MC shows up at the cafe, and all the characters you've met, so far, are there. Because remember, only 10 people exist in this town. MC needs to talk to Emily because the girl with the fiery temper is actually a demure virgin with no experience and needs MC's confirmations on what they did. A guy she's know for 3 total hours. And Jacob, seeing her be nervous about something because now she's acting different. Then you get more non-exposition, non-dialogue from Charlie, who is also there, as he acts like a menacing villain because MC is using his powers. Granted, what MC did, trying to spy on Charlie, was dumb. But you don't need to establish a villain this soon. Let a friend become an enemy or write ACTUAL subversive dialogue. Not just "rich man want to stay rich and powerful" that's played out. Then we come to the character that does the MOST harm to the writing. Lisbeth. Not because she's the worst written character, quite the opposite. SHE'S THE ONLY CHARACTER THAT'S GIVEN A CHARACTER. Even then, only mildly. And the "flirting" the same "a no is a yes, later" type shit. And for no reason are they flirting, too. The only thing she knows about him is he was beating a man into the ground. And she also reveals information about an ACTIVE INVESTIGATION. Remember how I said she has characterization, being shit at your job is still technically character. But she is shit at her job. Then MC LIES and says he was close to his uncle. They were estranged at the beginning of this. Yes, MC said his uncle was nice, but he hated training all the time and distanced himself from his uncle. And they have her giggling at every word he says, which is dumb. She's supposed to be "the only honest cop in a small corrupt town" But she's not acting like that giving away info on a crime and talking to someone that was so fueled by rage he didn't stop hitting a man until a gun was to his head. And after that, MC talks to Emily and she's gotta retcon her character because now she's not desperately trying to have sex with MC for NO REASON. When we finally get to the Callie and Anna stuff, Callie says "The length of time you know someone doesn't always matter." Are you serious? If you know someone for 15 minutes, and at minute 14, they reveal they're a serial killer, it invalidates all other time with them. She only knows MC looks at her ass and just had his life kinda crumble out from under him. He could be in shock and not shown his true colors. Then there's the whole blake issue, his aunt is who arrested him, so it doesn't matter how "full the prisons are" pressing charges is still a thing. This whole arc is brain dead. Then the typical "Wait, Nicole is the friend" stuff. Every. MC. Ever. When friends meet they do the dumb "I'll tell you all the embarrasing things haha" and MC's response 150% of the time "This won't end well for me" Shut. Up. Are you serious? Did every writer ever go to the same writing classes? Then Charlie is mad at MC for...? Doing nothing? In the 20 minutes since he's seen MC last, he's suddenly angrier at MC because... More cryptic bullshit? The player or reader is supposed to UNDERSTAND the conflict in a story. Not knowing why he's suddenly an enemy, or at least asshat, means I'm confused. Me, starting to remember bits about later parts of the story, it's SORT OF explained why Charlie is mad at MC, but all we're supposed to get from this is "rich man bad" I guess. And MC, of course, tells everyone he currently knows about magic and all that. Then it suddenly becomes MC's responsibility to calm Anna down? Why? At this point 8 of the 10 people that live in this town are going to be living with MC because he has a compulsion to white knight for women he thinks are attractive? When the idle banter finally goes away and they go to sleep, Veen appears. And because writing is hard, she is the same as Anna, scared and needs to be consoled. We can't have a woman be more powerful than MC that would be disastrous... Anywho breakfast ends with Charlie extending an olive branch to MC. Honestly, this scene with Charlie feels more like it's responding to criticisms about his cryptic nature rather than a natural flow for the story to take. It really just feels like "Here's some actual exposition because we've given you non-answers up to this point." At no point, however, does MC ask "Why were you threatening me and angry I used magic?" You know? THE ONLY RELEVANT QUESTION?! Then, because everyone plans their life around MC, Emily shows up right after Charlie leaves and gets nervous asking if MC is kicking everyone out? SHE DOESN'T LIVE THERE. She's a visitor and at worst, MC will say "No I don't want you to come over today." She has a house, and she has no character, why is MC talking to her? We finally get an explanation about cuckquean Nicole. She had ovarian cancer and MC wanted kids. Something we've NEVER been told up to this point. She felt bad she couldn't give MC kids so she set him up with girls. Literally the same circumstance for every wife/main LI in every AVN ever. And, I don't know if you know this, but kids are EXPENSIVE. If having or not is a dealbreaker when you're in highschool, you're a moron. When they return to MC's house, he has the "I'm a magician" talk with everyone. Because, you know, knowing someone for less than a week is enough to share world altering secrets with. Nicole and Jacob I could understand, but the rest of them aren't even acquaintances. Does MC always make decisions like an idiot? I think so. Date night with Emily? Her parents are wealthy and she just wants to cosplay. AND MC ADMITS HE'S A FUCKING WHITE KNIGHT OH MY GOD. You're no longer allowed to even consider the fact this might be serious. This is a power fantasy for the incel subreddit, shut up. I'm dead. And I can't even begin to tell you how frustrating his questions continue to be. He asked her nothing. The dialogue was full of "You don't have to tell me if you're not comfortable" crap. After a night with Emily, Nierty suddenly gets mad at MC and takes his power? I guess? Even though in the beginning of the game she told MC to find her? And then Thessa exposits even more to MC, but it's still feeling more like vague nothings than answers. He's bound to Thessa for mysterybox reasons. He even has the audacity to say "at least you were more forthcoming." BRO. He hasn't asked a real question to anyone. And even if he did ask something decent, there was no follow-up or conviction to learn. I hate this lemon of an MC. Then you get a truth bomb that his uncle was actually his dad. Because we needed to throw a surprise reveal at you because nothing is happening. Along with the fact Charlie is a "demon" because no other villain has been shown and it can't be a woman because possible sex. Eventually, MC is thrown back to arboria. Suddenly the king is no longer an asshole for no known reason. Also MC tells more people his entire life story. Sumida is another character that annoys me. She's a super obedient demure shy creature that is elated by MC showing BASIC HUMAN DECENCY. So she's a zero maintenance girl that's just happy to be thought of. And you KNOW MC revels in the fact she gushes every time he thanks her. AND MORE LORE DUMPS. Hooray... "Elves are xenophobic we don't know much about them. The Fae get bored and we don't know much about them. The chimera are what's attacking us, we're just now telling you." And then when MC want to ask a more relevant question "Oh lets wait til tomorrow, because the writer has an event that will happen tomorrow about this subject" Are you serious? Then, we see a new sex scene and it's poorly tweened and looped. Every time MC remembers anything remotely negative, internally monologuing because of course he does, whoever he's talking to has to reach out and ask if he's okay. It's as if his face contorts to that of abject misery anytime he remembers he left his stove on or something. And everyone he talks to, it's russian roulette if he can tell how they're feeling and what they're thinking at any given time. Generally it depends on how submissive they are. Like with Veen, she's an eternal spirit that knows about nothing but magic. So why is she afraid of MC being annoyed by her or some sort of master-slave punishment? It makes no sense. Every female, at least in tied to arboria, is completely uninteresting and their only character trait is how much they prop MC up on a pedestal. There's also the waking up and stretching scenes. WHY ARE THEY HERE. 70% of the game has been MC sleeping in some way, we don't need to see him get up and stretch, or lay there and talk to himself about what just happened. We don't have goldfish brain. Then there's the lip-flap animations. There's no voices in the game, the lip flaps are THREE image animations, and are glacially paced, there's a reason most people just show an image with an open mouth. It causes so many bugs and black screens, it's annoying. At this point I gave up digging into the story. Jumping between worlds with questions half-answered, all the women remain the same and only differ by bodytype, and MC's constant power scaling making everything seem pointless. MC finally "snaps" when the elves show up but still tries to make everyone be nice to each other. But to change the severity of MC and Nicole's backstory with a menu choice is FUCKING STUPID. If you're an adult, which if you're playing the game you damn well should be, and you can't handle serious topics in a video game as bland as this just never leave your house again. You're too frail to exist. I can't stand this, it's like having an "arachnophobia mode" in webbed or if someone made a mountain climbing game but turned off falling for people that are afraid of heights. I won't reiterate my feelings on the children talk but it comes up again here too. Even then, the discussion about Nicole's threats are shoehorned into the game here anyway. Whoever's writing this story has no concept of story flow, it's like they're trying to appeal to the ADHD meme account on twitter. I was actively relieved when the game suddenly said "You've reached the end of the game" after MC went to sleep for the 40th time. That's not a good thing. I'll be honest, this needs a lot of work. The story is interesting, and the magic mechanics aren't over explained. The Animations aren't good. The last bit of the story had many noticeable typos, missing images and the quality of the game and images sort of gets better once. There's not a gradual increase, there's just a point where suddenly the renders look a little better. The talking animations have missing images, the lighting makes the images look grainy at best, and the sex scenes are just a series of menus waiting for you to click next. It's not fun, it's not enticing. And all the dialogue coddles you so hard you might as well be watching sesame street. "You don't have to if you don't want to" is the most repeated sentiment in the game. There's also MC's sudden change to mild-mannered white knight to hot-headed harem master that doesn't want anyone to speak down to him. Why? Yeah, he was annoying in the fist case, but the second case is a type of cringe Andrew Tate fans can only exude. So, basically, what happens in this game as of this release? MC's uncle dies, he finds out he has powers, some billionaire contacts him to MAYBE be a villain, he teleports to another world and is given a spirit and god powers because no reason given, two celestial spirits are interested in him or attached to him, and in the other world he's essentially gonna be their savior. Oh and every girl he talks to giggles like a school girl and wants to have his babies. The only two that are consistently visually appealing are Lisbeth and Nicole. The rest look like anorexic teenagers. Gabby is a maybe but we don't know if she'll be a LI. But that's not an issue, because there's already more than enough LIs, and is just speculation. So lets sum it up. The English is fine. The typos start shining through at the end but this feels like someone that speaks English has a direct hand in editing the dialogue. The UI/UX is untouched almost entirely. There's an edited settings menu and that's it. The Art, like I said, is grainy, has a bunch of artifacts, the animation is slow, and a bunch of missing images. It needs to be worked on more. The dialogue is not good. I've read far worse. But this "Terms and Conditions" type romance SUCKS. Give someone a personality. Let there be banter BEYOND just the vampire being mad at MC for existing. Through to end of current content, no one feels like they matter outside of MC. I'll take a wild shot in the dark and say Thessa is MC's mom or something and that will be the twist. But Veen feels so out of place it's almost a joke. She just shows up to disappear and become a damsel in distress. And since her and MC have a connection that CAN'T BE EXPRESSED TO THE READER, you don't give a shit. Which sucks. So I'm very middle of the road on this one. I can see and understand what they WANTED to do, but they didn't get it across. I feel like I'll try it one more time and if it continues to do all these things that bug me I'm gonna drop it. I can understand why some people would like this, competent world building and a harem of women, but it's not there yet for me.

This is a pretty interesting game. The world(s) are fun and different and the story/mystery unfolding is keeping me hooked. There are a lot of different women in the game, so everyone should be able to find a favorite/ If you are into playing the "Protector" or Savior role, this one should be satisfying. Technically, the game has some rough edges, but it is improving as time goes on. The animation quality is probably the weakest part, but they are acceptable. Happily awaiting the next release. I am torn between giving this a 2, or a 3 star rating just FYI. Unlike some 'reviewers' I do not give or take away a "star" based on what I think of the developer, nor the development time between updates. That has ZERO to do with if the game is GOOD or NOT. Way too many throw a 5 star just because the game *seems* to have "potential". Like wtf, you can't judge or rate what might or might NOT happen in the future. Rate it for what it is *now*. Then go back and edit your review if your opinion has changed in the *future*. I remember early days of this game, it came of as pretty interesting to be fair. But with each update, I lose more and more interest. It's difficult and sort of not fair(?) to comment on if the ladies in the game(s) are hot or not. Sure this is *MY* review and opinion, but I can't just say the game is worth it because the chicks are hot. YOU might not find any of them hot. Anyway, that's not the issue here, as there's barely any "hot" girls in this game. A couple of them are somewhat cute perhaps. But not what I would call 'bangable'. I can't get attached to anyone in this VN. Couldn't care less about the MC. Couldn't care less about everyone basically. It is just simply put, a pretty boring game overall. There's some story and some stuff 'brewing', but again, I can't slap on a rating on this because it MIGHT become something great a year from now. But there's really no "hook" in this VN, nothing that makes me long for the next update. This is one of those VNs that I just play because I started this journey, and I might as well just skip thru parts of the updates (walls of text with little to no progress often). And I admit, I have probably missed a thing or two in the last update, as I was so friggin bored, and just wanted it to end, so I slept on my CTRL key for a while now and then. The update (0.6 as of this writing) at least had a couple of lewd scenes towards the end. Which also felt like it was 'forced' in, just so we wouldn't have an update without sex. In this case, we banged one chick, minutes later or something, we banged the next chick in the house. Was there any sense of emotions or passion involved? No, it never really is here. The animations are also mediocre. So many of you might play these VNs for the lewd stuff mainly. And sadly the lewd content is not worth your time IMHO. As I mentioned, animations are not very good. Not the worst, but far, FAR from good. It's basically a string of renders put into animation, and then when it reaches the last, it goes back in reverse. Looks kinda dumb. Which kinda takes away any "sexiness" from this so called sexy scene. Hard to feel immersed and "hot" when you are bored even during the sex scenes, and have to stop yourself from laughing at the animations. Personally I think some VNs should simply be without animations, if the dev can't make them REAL good. I know a lot of people are like "meh, wont play it, because it has no animations". Seriously, this game's lewd scenes would most likely be better if it did NOT have animations. Only positive thing I can find about the lewd scenes, is that you do have a couple of options. Usually "faster" or a different view, and often different positions. Faster is just the same animations put into higher gear, so nothing technically amazing there, just janky animation on higher speed. This is very far from a 5-star. It is also very far from a 1-star to be fair. I dont often, if ever, give 5 or 1 star to any VN. 5-star is equal to masterpiece, and how *anyone* can call this VN a masterpiece, just honestly scares me. But I also dont think this game is worth a 2 star, nor a 4 star. It's not a terrible game, nor is it great. It's just...mid. I will give it a 3 star, but consider it more of a 2,5. Because it is almost average, but just below. I honestly don't think I'll bother with this VN after this latest update. There's so many other VNs that's actually worth mine, and your time. This VN is sadly something I would play if I got absolutely nothing to play or do in my life. Like I rather play chess, or tetris. Fractured Realms is just..more boring than Chess and Tetris sadly. Maybe the game would've been more interesting, and maybe it could've sunk some hooks into me, if the ladies were at least somewhat interesting and attractive. If there was actually some real action. But again, sadly it's all a sleeping pill. But maybe you would enjoy it, I doubt it, but who knows. I mean no disrespect to the developer, and wish him, her, or them the best. But I'm staying away from this one from now on, Ive given it more than a fair chance now.

More like a 4* but giving higher rating due to potential and development speed This game has a lot of content for being out for a year. The graphics and animations are not 5* caliber, but the writing is much better than most, and it has a interesting plot line. Throw in points for the story moving along One caveat is that the cast of characters is getting too large - and it appears that even more will be added in the next update. You will also need to adjust the text transparency - otherwise you will not be able to read the text in some scenes due to the lighting and text color Would suggest playing

Oh.. This is a rough one to review for me. I enjoyed what I read. There's a lot of lore so far. I wish there was more adult content. Especially something with Gabby. Still, with what we got, I'm intrigued. The h-scenes can be a mixed bag. The animated scenes are low-fps, but hey, the characters are cute. But then again, you have choices (faster/slower/position1/position2), but... Why choose position 1 and go to 2 and then back to 1? So.. Even with that... Why a 5? I guess because I can't give a 4.5. I enjoyed it a lot. I obviously wanted more h-scenes, but damn, I want more. So yeah, I want more.

The game verges on unbearable The only positives I can say are that I personally like the love interest or potential love interest at this point (V0-5), and I do like the concept of the game. The sex scenes are just God awful and seriously need to be revamped, the writing/lore of has potential at times, but there are several errors that confuse me due to poor writing. And the biggest issue of all is the fact there is no text box, and no text outline with white letters. 90%-95% of the text blends in with the back ground, and the fact the dev is either to lazy or incompetent to make a simple change to improve that is really telling. And I'm not giving credit for someone else making a mod for it

While my overall impression with the game is probably average, the negatives are enough to make me give this a 2-star rating. The story is interesting, and the girls are attractive with a few nitpicks here and there. I do think there is a ton of potential only if the dev does something about the massive negatives holding this game back: The animations & sex scenes predominately, and the fact that with the game being split between 3 areas, the plot and settings have become watered down and nothing is getting the attention it deserves. The animations are very, very poor and take a moment to load, which is strange because the animation is very poor-quality with very few renders in each animation. As a result, they aren't smooth at all. The sex scenes also have pointless menus for absolutely no reason. Progress the sex scene naturally without forcing the player to click choices every few seconds. If people want to see something earlier in the sex scene again, they can roll back. Between the Earth, the new world, and the MC's place between worlds, the game is being split between too many areas and we aren't getting near enough development in any area because of it. There's potential but this is one of those games that I think the dev should absolutely stop production, learn how to fix these mistakes and rework the game before it's too late.

I love contemporary fantasy and isekai genres so I really like the story. We are not that far into it so I can't tell how it will turn out, but it's not bad. The character models are mostly ok but nothing exceptional. Though I have some issues with the looks of Veen and Sumida. While I have no problems with cat girls of fox girls and such in anime, Veen here unfortunately falls right into the Uncanny valley where she can look a bit creepy. As for Sumida, I hate her little horn thingy on her forehead. Seems like a horrible accident waiting to happen. The animations including the ones during sex scenes are nothing to sing praises about. It's not a 2 frame slideshow but far from what you can see in some other games here on the site. Talking about sex scenes, I don't like how between different phases of a sex scene you are brought back to the starting prompt, I'd rather only have the continue/repeat and next option. There are a lot of scenes with MC asking questions from different characters. While I'd love to learn more details about the background of the world, magic etc. it started to feel repetitive. At least it gives the option for players to skip these, but maybe there could be a better way to present all this information. There were some missing images in the version I played (0.4.1) especially towards the end throwing exceptions. Hope the dev will go back and fix those. And I don't know if I missed something or there was really no mention about pulling out a dagger from the bottom of the labyrinth until the events in the last update (0.4.1) where it suddenly played an important role at least in the dialogue. In sex scenes you can choose to pull out or creampie resulting in pregnancy for sure (at least according to the button text) but Spoiler one of the LI-s had their ovaries removed because of an illness prior to the story so she shouldn't be able to have children. I don't know if this was an error or there will be some kind of magical explanation for it later on. And please fix the spelling of millennia! If I wasn't a fan of the story/genre I'd giving 3 stars at most as it falls a bit short as AVN but since I'm: 4/5

I'm really enjoying the exposition of the story on this one. I suppose it takes a while between updates, but I've always like the characters and their interactions: the models are cute, and their personalities are well varied and reasonably complex. The devs are doing a good job of handling the gradual transition of the MC from cluelessness to some degree of understanding his situation and abilities as he is faced with new surprising situations. I look forward to continuing to follow this one.

Closer to a 2.5 star atm.. Good enough looking characters. Two have hairstyles that make them look mentally challenged. Would be nicer to just not see the MC. Characters tend to not look directly at the MC while having conversations. Some backgrounds are the same as in most other games, such as the park. The 'animations' are really jerky and made me feel a bit nauseous. The scenes are very poorly lit. The cafe was nice and bright, but other scenes all looked dark and washed out which made me not want to read much further. It would really be nice if they put more than 1 word in a text box and more than 1 sentence.... Giggle... click Oh... click and short 3 or 4 word sentences.... 1 at a time..... The story is a bit boring, BUT, it's early. Having minimal choices and no actions has a lot to do that that more like a kinetic novel. Poor writing decisions such as meeting a waitress then having her want to immediately give you her virginity. Other girls are similar such as within 24 hours they have a crush on the mc and so forth... Would be nicer if there was a lead in to the magic part rather than just all of the sudden being there and the mc going along with it. I'd almost give it a 2 star as it is, but I'm betting with just a few changes this will be a Great umm kinetic/vn/whatever. Would be really nice if it were a game.

Another pleasant surprise here! As is often the case with this type of game, I look at them carefully, and I don't know why it took me so long to get into this one. The basis of the story here seems really excellent, and gets off to a good start. However, I'm having more trouble with the writing, some things don't feel natural, there's a lack of information or sometimes it's too childish, the example that comes to mind straight away is that of the maid who kisses him on the mouth with the MC and a very young teenage girl's dialogue follows. I have a bit of trouble with the MC's face, I don't know why, it makes me want to slap him, but that's not a problem because we don't see it all the time either. Anyway, I like the story and can't wait to see what happens next.

Well i replayed the game and making a mostly new review. Story is pretty decent, its about MC going to hes home town to find out magic is real and then he meets alot of people ofc mostly girls. The only part i really really dislike is Nicole, apprently shes an old girlfriend and the second you meet her, you can fuck her and im just not into this type of 0 build-up with a girl so i turned her down, she wasent really in my taste either which dident help. Problem is that shes treated like shes in a relationship with MC even when turning her down over and over, other people talks about MC being in a relationship with her and its annoying as hell when you arent on her route, it also feels like Nicole is the main LI not just due to the background of being with MC but shes brought along into the magic world and is apprently special in some way as well, so not being on her route makes story feel very odd, like Emily talking about how Nicole wants to share MC? i mean it has no place in the story when MC is not with Nicole....same goes for her running around in close to nothing all the time, makes 0 sense when your not with her. MC is also a very nice dude who apprently invites every single girl to live in hes house, no matter if your on their route or not. Relationship build-up is lacking alot, like Nicole first meeting its a fuck her yes/no option stright away, Emily which you dont know can give you a BJ after knowing her for a very short time. You also meet a female orc and its the same like before you saved her but know nothing about her and she trows her self at MC giving him a BJ and they talked for like a min before that. Its a bit funny how dev talks about how everything will be up to you and that you can freely pick whoever you want to be part of your harem, but when story dosent accept when you turn someone down like Nicole and having part of story not make any kind of sense, like when girls talk about sharing MC when hes not even with the girl, it just ruins the hole story. Happens very late game to when Veen talks about the girls with MC she ask one by one if MC wants to add the girl to hes pack (harem) and you can get the choice to say yes or no, except with Nicole again showing story dosent match up and she is pretty much just a forced LI when it comes to story and thats when you have turned her down every single time. Girls/LIs are a bit meh, mostly due to them having almost the same build and all bigger sized tits and not a single small sized one in the game, devs should really try to aim for all peoples tastes and make a better diversity in builds, instend of making big tits on a very small girl which makes her look weird. Animations are about average so far, you can enjoy them but not anywhere close to the best. Music is ok, i would say around average since i have heard alot better in other games, but it ofc it beats being silent by miles. Had to lower ratings on this one after replaying it, i had a ton of images missing and renpy errors, feels like dev dosent test the game before releasing and one time it was a full sex scene that was missing with veen... shit like that should never happen and dev dosent even care enough about the game to fix it since its been like that since i played 2 years ago and its still an issue. I wouldent be supprised if dev abandon this one at some point since he clearly dosent want to fix errors in story so they match up with choices or fix missing scenes and missing pictures, so how anyone can give it high ratings with so many huge flaws just seems very fishy.

Version 0.1 Good Graphics, the writting is well done and I haven't spotted any mistakes so far. There is about 1 hour of content. Right now there are no really big choices which is to be expected of such an early release.I I think this game has potential and am eager to see how it develops. Version 0.2.2 So far the story continoues to be interesting and there is a lot more content now. Not many choices really just do you want to add this girl or not. But I personally don't mind that there is a lot of lore told each update and the graphics still are good.

Hard to believe this one got a 1 on a review tbh.. I found it to be well written with great renders and an interesting beginnings of a story. The ladies met so far were diverse and good looking. Definitely can see this one taking hold and bringing in a crowd of followers. Everything about this says quality.. The only issue I had.. and it was minor.. was the animation quality wasn't quite up to the rest of the work.. something that I can see improving as time goes on.
motseer 2023-07-19
I like the "youngish but developing" maturity of the MC. The LI's so far seem cute, lovable, and unique. The story pacing is good. The girls fall for the MC almost immediately but, it's a harem story so, I give it a pass. The introduction of the magical elements are both decent and a little bit rushed but, again not enough to take off points. Renders are a tiny bit on the dark side and the animations are probably the weakest attribute so far but, not bad. All in all, I'm stuck at about a 4.5 but, since some... body gave an obviously slanted and biased one star review with essentially no justification... I have no problem giving the benefit of the doubt and calling this a 5 star VN.
TheimmortalP 2023-06-26
It looks great, and I dig the synth music that I heard for most of my time with this playthrough, but I glazed over pretty quickly. I feel like this script really needs to be cut down severely, because the pacing makes this unplayable.
Ghost6boob9 2023-06-26
The game looks very good for demo and And the story is good now I hope there is more And the characters look very hot Except for a hairstyle of MC everything looks great Thanks for sharing this game I am waiting for the update impatiently

What a fun little demo. Really enjoyed the art, animations and story. Cheeky little cliffhanger as well. My only recommendations to any developer is always double, triple check your translations (trust me I know English is hard however I do not let it deter me from the overall experience) and just a personal preference, allow the readers to adjust the text box opacity. I will definitely keep an eye out as I look forward to further updates and thanks for sharing.
