Hamden's Retribution

It's good... it could be something special, but the MC does some really dumb shit. Brings down the story and breaks immersion at times. Early version, so there's still hope. Positive stuff 1) Girls have distinct personalities. 2) Violence and characters can die. 3) Story has some interesting parts. Meh stuff 1) Arts dated, but that ain't a big deal breaker for me. 2) I'm fine with it, but there's untagged forced lesbian/bi stuff. I know some of ya can't stand it, so yea, there's your warning. Negative stuff 1) MCs... just wow. He can fight and has a cool power, but there's some major issues. Guy looks likes a moron and does idiotic things that would've annoyed me A LOT if I was more invested in the story. 2) No choices yet. Pretty much a KN at this point. If there's meaningful choices and a way to prevent the MCs dumb actions this'll likely switch to a positive. 3) Dildo virgin thing. Idk why devs are set on making girls fuck toys before MCs. Coulda been hotter. What a waste.

I am writing this very early in the games life, so take what I am saying in this review with precaution as I am unlikely to update it. The game is a relatively standard AVN. Models are solid, story is passable, but the character dialogue is a step above the rest of the game. Hoping it improves as the game continues. 3/5 as of now.

In my opinion, this is a very solid demo. The demo gives a glimpse at the premise, which is not the most original thing (so far, there's not enough to truly judge what it's about) is interesting and by the end I was left wanting more. The renders are really solid, the characters pretty, but still a little generic looks-wise, like the green-haired and angry one. Yui and the older woman are hot. The animations were also great. The sex scene was short, but showed that HamDev knows what he's doing. Music and sounds were also nice. I don't remember any typos that ticked me off either. No choices, but that doesn't bother me personally at all. All in all a very solid demo that is very much worth giving a go!
