Holly Smiles at the End [6/10] You can say what you want, but Virginia’s creations are special. Mythology mixed with people’s insecurities, sex, and horror is definitely not to everyone’s taste. That said, the story can be quite captivating if you’re comfortable with the advertised tags. At the moment, only the corruption path is completed, and it delivers some decidedly non-vanilla H-scenes. I’d currently classify this more as a kinetic novel with a choice between corruption and no corruption. Perhaps this will become more diversified in future releases, but for now the choices mainly determine how far down the rabbit hole you are willing to follow the MC’s transformation into a sissy-bimbo. Personally, I’m not a fan of the bimbo look, but that’s just my taste. The VN offers a complete audiovisual package with well-chosen music and sound effects, although some repeated SFX during animations can be quite annoying. The animations themselves range from okay-ish to quite good. Most lack natural breast movement, but I can live with that. Visually, I’d place the game in the upper range overall. The presentation is a mix of quality renders, AI-generated images or AI-enhanced renders. The writing itself is good, but the English could definitely benefit from a spell-checker and some light polishing. Overall, this is clearly a good VN, but for me it’s missing that extra something to truly stand out. 4 stars.

Writing is up its own ass, but at least it's annoying in a relatively unique and interesting way compared to other erotic visual novels. Give it a try if you're feeling up to a one of a kind experience and don't mind so much if that kind is not great. Personally: I don't think it's paced well, I don't like any of the characters, even in a love-to-hate kind of way. Dialogue is often smarmy and I kept getting the feeling that some kind of point was trying to be made in the slice of life sections without the point ever arriving. It's an awful lot of time and words to spend establishing our protagonist is not very good at being a man. I think there are parts of this that are intentionally ugly, like the way the main character starts with stubble, but also some of the characterization is intentionally ugly. I don't think this is a narrative gamble that pays off. The plot is very loose and unreal. That alone is not a problem but it compounds with everything else. The only thing straightforward that is happening is the porn part. The virtual photography is competent. Framing and the illusion of motion are competent. When it is trying to do sex appeal, it is competent.

Too much yap-yap-yap. Not enough lewd scenes. As usual, this VN can't decide which story it is telling and is all over the place. Even holding down CTRL it's not worth the time required. Give it a pass.

Excellent story. Very imaginative and original. The fact the author is confident enough to ask you for a smut-free playthrough on the first game start is indicative of its ambition. The "resist" angle is, unlike in seemingly all other games of this type, good and original (and actually divergent!) in its own right, too. Perhaps it's even "canon", as it makes a nod to the game title, which is an interesting curiosity. Playing in different ways even uncovers new information and lets you understand the story more. It seems to be intended. Best in class visuals. This point can't be overstated. Asses have never looked so perfect (GeeDee's in particular). The proportions, the glistening sweat... it's all just so much better than it has any right to be. Far and away the best visuals I've ever seen in any game of this type. And they keep being shown off in all the best angles, with gratuitously sprinkled in new and exciting outfits (so many more than you'd believe) accentuating the delightful vulgarity of the meat on display. It's art. It really is. And all the extras are a sight to behold, too. How often is that the case? You can just stop at a frame and have your eyes slowly examine every quadrant of it, drinking it in. It's really something. And the very opposite of the unimaginative, unskilled asset-flips that so often clog up prime real estate. There are minor clipping and non-movement issues with hair, but those are hard to get right and I think a developer admitting defeat and just going "What's the easiest way to make this look reasonably good without a huge amount of effort that might lead nowhere" is the right and responsible approach. You might notice, but you won't mind. A great sound design, too. I usually play games on mute, for reasons I'm sure you can imagine, but I busted out the trusty headphones for this and stayed on my tippy-toes. It's worth it. And great pacing. Things happen slowly, and then all at once. As so often in good narratives. One day you lose your virginity, the next it's non-stop gangbangs. Builds up the tension superbly and is very satisfying throughout. This also ties back into the visuals. The mental corruption goes along with a gradual (three-step) physical corruption, where each "upgrade" feels visually and narratively satisfying. And it ends on the perfect, wonderfully vulgar note. The author has a sculptor's mind for forms and the human body. And he's putting it to great use. The ugly bastards... if you take one thing away from this review, it's not as bad as you might think it is . It's not for everybody, me included. But the author graciously spares us too many looks at their bodies and visages. It's more like an unpleasant thing you can put blinders over, there at the back of your mind and the edge of the screen to remind you this is supposed to be humiliating. Sometimes it's just a POV with a focus on the female figure in the scene, at which point there's little to complain about. In a purely financial sense, it seems like the author certainly shot himself in the foot by including those (this game is so, so excellent there should be so, so much more attention on it). Nonetheless, I hope he stays true to his creative vision, for this project and any subsequent ones, and doesn't let that dimension dictate his every action. Maybe saying that is redundant, it doesn't seem like he's compromised on it yet, but maybe it's also a bit of affirmation he can appreciate, given in what I hope to be a meaningful (and fair) review of his creation. But there's one more thing that needs mentioning. The grammar (and spelling) is bad. Catastrophic, even. You frequently have to piece together sentences from scratch. "Cock" being spelt "sock" is one of the more minor infractions. And the mistakes are never-ending. I've never seen such a good game get such an easy thing to get right so completely and utterly wrong. It needs to be fixed. I struggled a lot with whether I should dock a star for it, it's that bad. At first, I didn't want to, because everything else the game does it does so good, and because I felt it shouldn't sit at 4 stars (as it currently does). Then I thought I would, with the promise to go to 5 if grammar should be improved. As you can see, ultimately I chose to give the author the benefit of the doubt and assume he'll fix it. Another thing to mention, though more subjective, is that, while there are different routes, it feels a lot like you either go all-in or all-out. I.e., the fact that they do exist isn't very intuitive. Had I not read that they do exist, I would've never assumed they did. Now to see whether I might like the other games of his... One of the most well written story focused smut games I have played, the structure, themes, characters, and creative portrayal of the player characters slow downfall, all merge fluidly together. How Disciple of Virginia utilizes lust as the main focus point, but still manages to remind the player that the horror aspect is ever present, is very uniquely done. Each scene is always visually enjoyable, from the lore which is given in an analog horror theme, the nastiest degrading erotic moments, and even the heartwarming scenes. One aspect that pleasantly surprised me, is how smooth the animations were, from my many previous play tests of other visual novels, they tend to lack in fluid animation, or use a flip book adjacent style with at most 10 rendered frames. Disciple of Virginia has created very high quality animations for a game format that is typically used in order to avoid additional effort for visuals so that developers can focus more on the writing, DoV however clearly cares equally about the story and the visuals. The characters themselves are all well crafted and designed, even the ones that drastically change visually once corrupted, or when showing off inhuman features. Each personality seems unique and I am fond of how even the most abusive characters are enjoyable, I cant help but find my self even rooting for them to succeed and get their way over the actual "Good guys". Despite how fantastic this game and its story happens to be, I still have some personal criticisms, but they are my own thoughts and I am sure people may or may not agree with them. For one, even though the game's sexual content is very well done, there are moments with characters other than the protagonist that I wish had gone further, either stopping a little later than they had, or having a different outcome Spoiler: Scene spoiler Ava Should have succumbed to hypnosis within the back of the store While I understand continuing the main story is important before adding the earlier endings, I also would have loved more bad endings for the characters, even if they were abrupt or short, but that is mostly because I love alternate dark endings for characters. Though the game is without the personal preferences I have stated, the game is exceptional. Another quality I should mention, is the use of A.I voice acting, which while I am opposed to A.I in a majority of cases, I feel like the almost otherworldly soulless voice fits its role perfectly in a way that I doubt a human could equal. Continuing on the topic of audio, the sound design and music are extremely well done, with each scene having its own perfect backround. Gameplay wise, the game is mostly a straight forward story, with some options to push the player character towards or away from corruption, which my canon ending in those types of situations is always a full send to corruption. The length of the game itself seems to be on the short to medium side, but that just means the players get to the spicey parts faster. With how the story is structured I personally believe that so far, the game is looking to end at a very reasonable length from start to finish, not including if you want to get each ending. That's not to say I dont want more story, and honestly when this game is completed I will be sorry knowing that there simply isnt another one too similar. I write this review having only finished up through version 4/10, I have no doubt that the rest of the game will be just as enjoyable, if not more so after the bad ends get added, I'm very much looking forward to them.

Meh. So this game has / had potential... it feels like there was a really cool strong concept there. The monster.. thing is creepy in a sexy way, like that game with the investigator with a cat somewhere in a winter city. I like creepy horror games mixed with erotica, I like things that make me uncomfortable. But... This game suffers from three issues (at least for my tastes). First, it seems to forget the erotica. There's a few gropes (which, for some weird reason, really upset the MC well beyond what would be normal), some sexy bimbo creature... after a half hour of slow and fast clicking there's a bj... maybe there's more later, I have no idea and I will not find out. Its not that its a slow burn, its that there's almost no burn. Even if wanting to focus on hypno bimbofication, there's a lot of content that can be worked in way earlier to foreshadow, to in-media-res, etc. And just showing some hot women isn't erotica, its just.. wrapping I guess. Which leads to the second issue, why does it take so long to see anything? Because there is a LOT of filler meaningless text. Some of it is interesting philosophically maybe, some of it is interesting mathematically... but minutes and minutes and minutes could be summed up with "and they talked about stuff" with no meaningful change to the game. And maybe all the empty text could be a little more interesting if.... there were any choices in the game. Maybe somewhere something will become an interesting choice, but I haven't run across any choices. Its totally a non-interactive VN. And if you are going to build a non-interactive VN then the writing has to be Solid and quick. There's a reason spider man doesn't spend 10 pages discussing how imaginary numbers work. So... meh. I like the art, the characters are probably interesting... but unless all the writing gets tightened up and condensed a LOT I don't imagine a lot of people will get to what is probably a really cool reveal later. Which is a shame.

Really good Visual Novel, reaaly awesome. Great renders, great characters, great atmosphere, great story. For those who are familiar with the dev and like the tags its a no brainer to play. For those in doubt, of course some ppl will not like the fetishs or the style due to personal taste, but I do advice giving it a try

The game seems interesting enough but as with most 3dcg it gives off uncanny valley vibes and I honestly cannot stand it. There are really only 3 things that made me rate the game so poorly, its English and visuals.

The visuals are really not for me - some kind of psychodelia. Animations are rare and the writing is too hard to comprehend. Reviewed version 2/5 and there is not much content at that time. There is no gameplay, just VN where you have to make some choices sometimes that affect your stats.

DoV is their own person and they make AVNs they like and they tell a story they like and they don't really care what others think. This dev has a loyal following and for good reason. NOBODY does weird AVNs like DoV and this one is no exception. While this particular story is not my kinda thing, it does not take away from the production. Compare this to Autumn Blvd and you can see their growth as a developer, plus no one can do a butt slap like DoV. To be fair, DoV has always struggled with writing in English and their stories and dialogue can be difficult to follow and this one is no exception. Despite that, I always look forward to the next release of all of theirAVNs. If you a looking for different, weird and scary, then download it today. I can promise you there are no other devs out there like this one.

If you played their previous games, you need no review. If you haven't, this might be a good one to start with, given it's bug free and easy to get into. They have really gotten a lot better with time. As always, it's a whacky horror bimbo show with all sorts of weird stuff happening. This is about as weird as it'll get on F95zone. If you want to play the 154.532 iteration of "vanilla harem game (TM)" to soothe your tortured incel soul, it might be best to walk away. I love it though.

I'm a really big fan of all of DoV's projects, and this one is no different. Compared to both Autumn Boulevard and OBAB it's pretty easy to follow and in true DoV fashion somehow connected to the overarching lore. I always look forward to these games and the premise of this one is SUPER unique and interesting. in a genre where pretty much every game is poorly-written nonsense this is a very nice change of pace. Gee-Dee is also definitely my favorite villain(?) in the DoV-iverse.

Like all things DoV makes I love the mix of horror and sex appeal, GeeDee is easily my favorite character out the game although I am only going off of part 1. Writing wise I like it, many times while I enjoy DoV's games they do get hard to follow for me personally. Like I couldn't tell you what was going on on Autumn Boulevard at one point, lol. Of Birds and Bees is still my favorite game made by DoV though, I replay each update there. Now let's see any criticism I had of this game...Well I feel the pacing is a bit quick sadly, and the story feels on the shallow side. Like the foundation is there, and it could have more depth, but just doesn't do it. Like going by the summary Gadreel's background would have been nice to see in the game itself so far, you know even if it was more hinted upon. It's one thing I appreciate in Of Birds and Bees of trying to fit in lore with the story telling, something this game so far is missing. Personally I just feel like the limitations of a four part plan is holding the potential of the game back that even background characters are shallow and don't matter currently. Like all the women are attractive, but outside that and the groping they might as well be planks of wood for me on my feels for them. Next I didn't like the lack of choices for Part 1, but I saw that will be fixed in Part 2, so yay! GeeDee absolutely love, and I'm all for the kinks as a fan of MtF stuff. I'm curious of the long term change of the bimbo, like in Autumn Boulevard, Bianca? I think that was her bimbo name, she felt just meh to me and then there was times she felt perfect. Personal tastes being different on her upgrade looks I guess, but I do hope for some sexy full on mega bimbo body if it's a choice. Anyways I love the start and look forward to where it goes like all your games DoV. I gave this a four stars because I do like the visuals, kinks, (especially future tags like Romance, Slave and Futa in one game!?) and GeeDee herself, all hail mommy doms.

This is totally interesting, and have not seen anything similar! keep it up please! I would really love to see how it involves, and most importantly that you provide updates i really hope you dont stop update this game. The quality so far is just excellet!
