About Of Birds and Bees

Of Birds and Bees is a Ren'Py adventure by DiscipleOfVirginia, presented with 3D rendered animated art. You play as Melanie in a Lovecraft-flavored story set on the Great Plains, where a great wasp sleeps in a titanium box. You solve the mystery of the basement box alongside her imaginary friend Mr Bumblebee, while horror in waking life and dreams weighs on her. Choices let you decide whether others exploit her vulnerability, touching on horror, corruption, and humiliation.

The current build is the ongoing full v1.2 release, dated June 27, 2026, for Windows and Mac in English, uncensored. The v1.2 Full changelog adds spooky content, introduces the Ya Bad End with a chance to stop it, and opens the Liam, Klaudia, and Diva routes, plus Singing Bird.

Developer's description

Once upon a time, in the Great Plains, there sleeped a great wasp. In her box, made of titanium. Ever read Lovecraft and thought to yourself: "Oh boy, if this was just more naughty, and had thicc women in it"? Well, then I got the story for you. Solve the mystery surrounding the box in the basement alongside Melanie's imaginary friend, Mr Bumblebee. The horror stalking Melanie in real life and in her dreams is taking a toll on her, maybe some people will take advantage of that. Maybe not, as that is completely up to you.
