About Invoke Halo
Invoke Halo is a 2D RPG Maker adult game by Begul, presented with 3DCG animated visuals and featuring combat, horror, and corruption themes. The story takes place in the Edo period and follows a young man who resides simply in a small village with his younger sister while samurai and supernatural Yokai are in conflict. The seals, named Invoke Halo, trap powerful Yokai and allow them to be summoned. Releasing one Yokai awakens many others. The strongest samurai wants a worthy opponent and uses the Halo to bring a powerful Yokai into the world, changing everything.
The current v0.2 build was released on August 2, 2025 for Windows in English and is uncensored. Development is ongoing. The latest update adds a new village scene, two animated adult scenes with sound effects, a new character named Miku, a new quest, and an updated animated mini adult scene. The earlier v0.1 bugfix corrected a quest issue involving Satsuki.
Developer's description
Set in the Edo period, this story unfolds amidst the tense conflict between supernatural beings called Yokai and samurai. The main character is a young man eager to become a samurai, living modestly with his younger sister in a small village. In this world, there are iron seals known as “Invoke Halo” which imprison powerful Yokai within them. Invoke Halo can be used to summon Yokai to the world. However, when one Yokai is released, all the other Yokai awaken as well. The strongest samurai in the land hears a rumor about Invoke Halo hoping to find a worthy opponent to test his skills against. But the Halo only responds to the touch of the strongest. Using this power, the samurai summons a powerful Yokai, and with its arrival, everything changes, many Yokai begin to appear, and the balance of the world is shattered.
