In order to begin the new story content, you'll need to work at least two shifts at the bakery. Previous save files were not tracked so you'll still need to work the two shifts even if you already have in previous updates. From there, talking to her will begin the new story content! While the Prince isn't the handiest helper in the bakery, his swift & agile form makes him the perfect candidate for fetching Penny's ingredients! You'll need to dodge Goblins, ghosts, and other perils to help Penny with her desserts! Beta v0.9.5.1 -Small map updates to Inn -If you read these - hello! Beta v0.9.5 == New Scenes == Medusa (Human) - Date Night Sex This update includes a new sidequest for Medusa! After surviving the dangers of the Meadow Temple, a familiar, green-haired woman in the Tavern having a drink. In search of changing her evil ways, Dessa is interested in trying the dating scene! Going on the perfect date with a Gorgon will be a 'hard' endeavor but the Prince is sure to give it his best attempt! To begin the events of this quest, make sure to allow a full day to pass after completing the Meadow Temple. = Misc Changes = -Tweaked Jousting tutorial for clarity -Added a few NPC's around Valencia Courtyard & Penny's Shop Beta v0.9.1 -Added third jousting tournament (available after completing Meadow Temple) -Increased Charm level cap to 4 (all stats available to hit level 4 now) -Small text/bug fixes & jousting balance Beta v0.9 == New Scenes == Alexandria - Night Sex Maeve - Training [Teaser] Alexandria's story is the spotlight of this update! After promising a special reward to the victorious knight in her new exhibition tournament, Alex finds herself in a bit of a predicament. Perhaps a new competitor can sneak in and claim victory instead! In order to begin the new events, if you've already completed all of Alex's prior content, you'll need to talk to her and then wait a day. A new cutscene will play in her Training Ground if you've met the criteria. = Jousting = Jousting is now available to play once unlocked through Alex's story! This minigame features tournaments that you can enter with unique challenges and rewards. Jousting will be updated in future updates to include newer, more difficult challenges with special rewards too. All four stats affect various parts of your jousting abilities so training them up will be helpful especially once more difficult opponents are available. = Maeve Training = Maeve is still without a permanent location but she can now have the option to train Agility! Just like Alex & Sophie, Maeve will only train once per day. Once she's settled, she will have more detailed cutscenes to and events to go along with training. = Stat Level Caps = Stats can now be increased further. (Beta 0.9.1) STR, AGI, INT, & CHM can all be trained to level 4. I don't recommend grinding to these levels but since they affect your jousting performance, training them higher can be useful, especially in later updates. To progress her story, talk with her whenever she's working at the Royal Bath House in the northwest part of Valencia Courtyard. A brand new sidequest for Eliza is available. Once you've completed her first 'home run' scene, there will be a Knight near the entrance to the gardens with a quest bubble. A pesky goblin has been causing some mischief! Only the prince is allowed to cause trouble so clearly he must be stopped at all costs! In order to complete this quest, you'll need to unlock the Goddess Slice ability from playing through the main storyline. == Royal Spa Tickets == The Royal Spa now has proper implementation! To celebrate, both Sophie & Alex can now be invited alongside Eliza making three total guests so far! When you find a Royal Spa ticket, you can use it to unlock one guest's invitation, provided you have a high enough relationship with them. In a future update, a status screen will show you how your current relationship is with each woman. Once you've redeemed the ticket and invited a guest, you'll be able to re-invite them at no additional cost! Currently, there are 3 available Royal Spa tickets to find: 1 - The hidden grotto near the Moonlight Chapel 2 - Purchased in the shop for 20G 3 - There's a guarded chest in the Tavern... perhaps there's a time where it's not being watched as closely? == Tavern Location == The Tavern is now open! Eleanora stays busy all day long serving drinks to the guests who stop by and visit. For now, she doesn't have any work for you to do. But soon, this will be another location to earn some income on the side! Her sidequest story can be started and completed. In order to do so, just talk to her in her Chapel in the northeast section of Valencia Courtyard. Spending time with Sophie might help you learn some new things. Or will just expose that you haven't studied as much as you should... Just be careful for any pop quizzes. == Sophie's Training == Once a day, you can study with Sophie to increase your Intelligence stat! There are 3 custscenes that can play if you'd like to see what all goes on while they study. Or, if you prefer to play faster, you can skip them too! In order to view everything with Sophie's story, you'll need to reach Level 3 Intelligence. Because there aren't too many activities or quests to do, the EXP requirement to reach level 3 has been lowered slightly to minimize grinding. There are a few ways to improve your Intelligence including a new secret area included in this update. So be sure to explore! == Royal Spa Tickets == Lydia's spa now has a new feature. You can spend 'special' time with a guest in the bathhouse as long as your relationship is high enough and you've found a bathhouse ticket! These tickets will be found in different ways throughout the game. Currently, only Eliza can be invited but more women are planned to be added in future updates! From there, the adventure should play out! -Combat has been fully implemented now with the ability to swap between Sword, Bow, and Magic while fighting. Additionally, the first temple has been added which features new puzzles and secrets to unravel. == Quest Log == The quest log is now properly implemented with Eliza's questline now having proper questlog support. Saves that have been transferred should see these autocorrect when stepping outside in Valencia Courtyard. As more sidequests are added, the questlog should help with guiding you on where to go during your adventures. Betav 0.4.1 Fixed small bugs involving cutscenes and Alex's dialogue Beta v0.4 == New Scenes == Alexandria - Thighjob == New Animated CG == Alexandria - Stance Training Sophie - Stance Training (partial/teaser) ===== Beta 0.4 expands upon some of the interactions with Alexandria! Her training area was received a visual update, now resembling a small colosseum where you can visit her. Currently, you can train your strength there with her once a day at any time. You'll need to reach Strength Level 2 to see all of the new content. To help minimize the grind, the bunny girl near the center of Valencia Courtyard will give you a strength potion for free! Additionally, Queen Eliza has a new Hug option that changes depending on how far your relationship has progressed with her! And lastly, Sophie has a small teaser animation for her Stance Training event that will be fully added in a later update! == Character Adjustments == In order to feel a bit more evenly proportioned, Alexandrias character bust was updated. Her breasts and hips were slightly reduced. Personally, these changes don't feel too noticeable without a side by side comparison which was my goal as well as making sure she still kept those strong thighs! These activities will be important for building your stats and relationships with various characters! == Stats System == Stats are now properly implemented! You can check your stats (Passion, Lust, Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Charm) in the options menu. Currently, the 4 main stats are capped to level 1. There's no actual need for any of these stats yet but over time, these stats will be important for various skills, relationships, and other activities. == Lydia's Massages == In the Northwest section of Valencia Courtyard, you can visit Lydia for special massages. Each standard massage costs 10G and will provide a boost to your Str, Agi, Int, or Chm stats depending on your choice. Lydia has a special loyalty program for her best guests so visiting her often might reward you with a nice bonus! == Penny's Bakery == Penny's Bakery is the first of a few job opportunities in the Kingdom. Once a day, you can work for her to earn 10G. Working is a good way to earn money to spend on other activities or items and in some cases, may increase your relationship with your boss! More jobs and other activities will be added and these current activities might get expanded upon in further updates! Thank you so much for playing Kingdom of Passion! Future updates will allow for saves to carry over but there were some compatibility issues with the projectile and quest log features that will be added in future updates. Beta 0.1 is the first subsequent update and adds a lot of core functionality to help KoP feel more complete. == HUB Map == The main area, Valencia Courtyard is now (mostly) complete! After the Day 1 tutorial is over, you can fully explore the map. Only a few buildings are accessible but future updates will continue to change this and include more places/characters to interact with. Just like the buildings, parts of the Courtyard may change or expand to include new hidden secrets and other places to explore. == Day 1 Tutorial == The Day 1 tutorial is now full complete as well! After meeting Aphrodite, the story continues and helps teach some of the basic mechanics of the game a little more. This also includes an NSFW scene that was teased in the Alpha update! == Queen Eliza == Most importantly, Queen Eliza's story has gotten a jump start as you can now begin the early parts of her sidequests! Simply talking to her after Day 1 will help explain what you need to do in order to progress with Eliza and begin building your relationship. Due to a lot of core mechanics needing a lot of time/attention, her story content is short but I hope this does serve as a nice introduction for what's to come in later updates!
