Demo Version
Law school review The story is quite slow at the beginning; however this slowness is necessary to properly introduce the characters and the entire context of the university and their goals in life and career as lawyers. As you become more familiar with the classes, you realize that although the author wanted to show more technical details of law school, which at first seems a little difficult to engage with for those not very interested in the subject, little by little, as the characters get involved and demonstrate their opinions and perspectives on the challenging situations the team faces to win against another team, it's sensational. You become very immersed in the day of the trial, wondering how the protagonist will win, and how this is executed is very well done. However, I think it could have had some better ideas and the option of failure; it would have been a very interesting scenario to follow the protagonist with all that morality and respect after a beautiful speech against Mike, redeeming himself after a defeat. The minigames also help to keep you more engaged with the law, and I feel there could be even more of them in different situations, like at parties, such as beer poing, which, although generic, I think are a good addition to parties when they aren't as interesting as they could be in the game. For me, even though the VN handles the challenges a lawyer faces in college well, it truly shines with the characters' drama as you get to know them better. Each of them has a different perspective on each problem in their lives; it's very easy to connect with them, especially Miranda, Taylor, Aurora, and Rose. Aurora stands out, undergoing an incredibly natural transformation with the protagonist, and they have spectacular chemistry together. The author did a phenomenal job with her; it's been a long time since I've rooted so hard for a character to get along with the protagonist. She's easily in my top 3 of all the girls, and there are so many romance options that it's hard to choose because they're so interesting and well-developed, the author managed to introduce them so well. Another point that needs to be highlighted is the visuals; these aren't generic DAZ characters. They are all very well-detailed, and some are unique, like Rose and Miranda. Not to mention that many characters visually match their personality type well, but as you get to know them, you notice that they have more layers within their stereotype. The animations are very well done; the adult scenes could be better, some I found quite short, but overall very good. I can't forget the soundtracks. In this type of game, which is naturally slower, I feel it's very necessary to have good soundtracks to captivate the player, and since the author chose these tracks very well for each scene, even though some were repeated more than three times and I think could have been different, it was an excellent job. A highlight is "Leaning on – Exmoor Emperor," even though it's from the Season 2 menu, I'm addicted to it. The game's choice system for the selfish, altruistic, and neutral paths is interesting, but it's clearly noticeable that it needs improvement. This is the most negative aspect of the game so far, which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars. I understand there are walkthroughs with mods, but we can't rely solely on that to make choices; they need to be organic to how we play and make sense for us to be on that path. Often, it's not clear from the characters' reactions after the choice; it doesn't seem to have a significant consequence. It's even more problematic when certain characters shouldn't be on that path, as their relationship seems too selfish, for example. It will be a challenge for the author to improve this system over the course of the episodes, but I have hope. The last positive point I can't fail to mention is the comedy. The inside jokes between the characters didn't grab me at first, and some were cheesy, but over time, as you start to enjoy the interaction between the characters, you can see that the jokes improve. There are great hilarious scenes with perfect comedic timing. Alan is by far the funniest character, I'd love to have a friend like him in college. In short, what an excellent game that immerses you in the story until the end, and you really care about the characters and their drama, with beautiful 3D renders accompanied by great soundtracks. I finished it twice a week ago on different paths and I can't wait for episode 5, which I hope will be fantastic. 8.5/10 so far, probably the second best college-themed game i played. I'm clearly thinking about supporting the creator on Patreon. My first review. (Review made with Google translator)
My favorite game so far and the first one I write a review for, even better than Being a Dik, likeable characters, a good story, and amazing renders. The girls are amazing and the humor actually made me cuckle a couple of times, overall a 10/10.
You really have to power through to the start of episode 1 as yes it is rather lackluster but I believe it does what its supposed to which is introduce characters and set up important plot points, as the game progresses however the story really starts to become something spectacular. It's a great college themed avn, the MC is the usual "good at everything" type which im not complaining about, he actually has his own opinions and personality that we can help shape, and the model is actually good looking which is rare to find. The LI's are all visually stunning, have differing personalities and have a depth of being, each with their own complexities and reasons to care and become invested in them. I truly think this can become one of the greats. TLDR: Slow start, gets much better as game progresses.
S2 Ep.4 v4 Law School has a bit of a rough start with some hit or miss dialogue and an overuse of audio jokes, but by the later half of that first lengthy episode those complaints melted away. While I wouldn't call it my favorite AVN, I will say it's of a very high quality. I really like the limiting of paths based on choices. I think more AVNs should implement choices mattering in regards to the romance options, not just the story. Speaking of, there are some very compelling romance options here. The girls look great! The game looks great! The music is mostly welcomed. And the story is keeping me interested in what comes next! I'd recommend trying it out if you're looking for something with a little more substance.
This game is probably the best I've ever played. It's a little frustrating having to choose between romances (even though there's a mod that lets you do them all in one playthrough), but it makes for a really cool and realistic story.
Absolutely amazing. Fantastic cast, interesting routes, good, witty writing. Maybe the MC is a little bit too "god-like" for my tastes, but that's really minor. Other than that, Law School avoids so many traps that lesser VNs fall into. Play if you like slow burn. Now!
A mediocre game with a mediocre, pretentious, and boring story. In the end, you don’t actually have much control over what the main character does, which makes it frustrating. It would be much more interesting if the game let you decide what kind of friends you want to have and which ones to avoid.
The game is great and all but the thing is, main character has to go with almost every single girl. Also, what is up with this path limitation? Why does the player have to be on a certain path to be with certain girls? If I want to be with Rose or Sana I should be able to with all the paths since they are in neutral. I don't think it will be changed, should've been like that from the start though.
Goated game. One of the best college themes games. Beautiful renders, incredible characters with unique personalities, great animations, well implemented music, learning interesting topics without being boring, and getting better after each update
I liked the first half of S1 a lot. Actually aced the tests too and found the entire story wholesome and funny (because it is a parody to the court process). I liked the memes/jokes. However, after the second half in S1, I feel like nothing interesting is going on. It becomes just talking and having some sex with a girl, which probably sums up the slutty college life of a good looking guy like MC in the USA lol, but I feel the good stuff isn't there after that anymore and the story seems to go nowhere. And that's fine, it really doesn't have to in this kind of a game anyway. I love the teasing stuff in this game, the few frames are very nice and makes you become more interested in the characters(affecting your choises), but the sex scenes are just completely vanilla and as boring as it gets lol. ( I would have made Ms.Baguette bushy and into anal only, and there was such a great opportunity to go down this path after the first penetration rejection). but okay, all that is just personal preference, and there are other games for that. I see it as a game more fitting for girls, it fits more into their fantasy domain. It's worth a try for everyone who likes AVN, so definetly give it a try. Support it, by buying it on steam if you like vanilla stuff, it's well made and the first half of S1 is fun, maybe you like the whole thing. If you are a proper gooner who likes degen humor and a story with depth, this really ain't for you, because this is more of a sitcom/soap opera level with some basic sex on top.
The best school/college game there is and by far (there are more popular games in this setting but none of them comes even close). It has very good writing, interesting characters and great sex scenes. The story flow is very smooth and engaging so there's no room for boredom, each second something interesting happens, there are no tedious tasks to do, it's just pure fun and debauchery. Pros: +Great sex scenes (in every way) +Good story with well written characters +Proper story direction that engages player and leaves no room for boredom +One of the best phone interactions that gives us illusion of it being real +Aurora (my favourite character in game) +Elsa (my second favourite character in game) +Other characters (I can't think of a character that I wish wouldn't be in game) Cons: -None that I can think of.
Law School is one of the best AVNs on this site, with a story that is funny, surprising, and clever; charming characters that contain multitudes, and act and react in very credible and unique ways. The music is enjoyable, the visuals are gorgeous, and even if the lewd scenes are not as hot as in other other AVNs, Law School shines with its own charm. Go ahead, don't mind the slog through the first episode, and be ready to be surprised with some of the most charming and humane characters in a well-written, tight, and exciting game. Bring season 2!
Great game and a fantastic story. It’s the only game since Being a DIK that I'm willing to read word-for-word, even if I have to look things up in a dictionary to fully understand it. Can’t wait for the next update!
Excellent creation. I have been supporting this game for a while and I must say the characters are the strongest point of it. Can't wait to see how the story evolves. Hoping at least one of the side charas becomes a love interest!
Well-balanced, uncomplicated, properly paced and generally upbeat and positive just light enough just heavy enough story not dragged out MC doesn't fuck everything that moves in one playthrough
I'm giving this a 5/5 with the caveat that it's best played with the walkthrough mod. It's a 4/5 game without it imo. The big thing to remember is this is at it's heart, a very silly, fake drama sort of story. Don't expect anything realistic. Expect people to be comic book villains at times, and very stupid. That said, if you can get past that, it's very heart-warming. I basically spent my entire Saturday going through it, it was that engaging. Initial thoughts are a bit cringy, the MC is kind of an idiot and gets into silly highschool situations that just wouldn't happen in real life. A girl deceives him to get a kiss while her friend records it and they try to blackmail him. MC picks up a basketball, a girl takes a picture of him and runs away, and starts chasing her because he thinks she thinks he stole the basketball... The dialogue for a lot of the beginning/law classes is way too verbose. The dean almost gives a semblance of an actual commencement speech, which, let's be honest, does NOTHING to forward the actual plot or stories. Lots of things like that. It does improve a lot though. The LIs are absolutely incredible for the most part. Spoiler: Best Friend LI path note One warning, if you are attracted to the best friend, and want to follow her path, be ready for almost no real content for the vast majority of the game. Even in the latest update, her 'path' is basically the MC trying to help set her up with SOMEONE ELSE due to a misunderstanding. It's a fucking joke LOL. The LIs seem like real people with real issues, and honestly, I'm done with all of the content and out of the 5 that are currently available for me on my alignment (altruistic), I want to be with all five, I am actually juggling all 5 right now because they're just so good. To this point there has been no path collisions, but the next update is hinting at big decisions that you'll have to make, so it's NOT a harem. tldr; if you can get past the extreme silliness, it's actually an incredible VN, honestly one of the best I've read. PLAY WITH THE MOD THOUGH, SERIOUSLY.
This is an excellent AVN, with probably the best cast in any game in the genre I have played. The main character is actually both conventionally attractive and intelligent for once, and most decisions he makes don't make you roll your eyes constantly. There is no moron/pervert male best friend, and instead a group of incredibly realistic and likeable guys. The love interests are diverse, and probably the best looking on average out of all AVN's. The setting is nothing special, but it is still a breath of fresh air to have a school where academics are remotely relevant and it's not just an excuse for constant parties. The main issue I have with this game is the "branching"... if you can even call it that. At first glance, the system seems intricate; three personality paths, love interests that prefer different variations of the MC, not a harem, etc. However in practice, this really isn't the case. My first playthrough was multiple extremely enjoyable hours. However my second one, on a different personality path and different love interest, was under 5 minutes while skipping seen dialogue. I understand the game is still quite new, but almost no different content for an allegedly different play-style is inexcusable for a game that sells itself as having choices. This game is absolutely worth a play, but it should essentially be treated as a kinetic novel with about the same, if not less, variation as a game like Eternum has.
It took some while for me to get to play this one, wow, it's a top notch quality VN. Recently I played a lot of not good to decent mediocre stuff and I was wondering if it's me or what, needing to skip so much text in them - no it wasn't me, turns out if you have a good story and good dialogue it will be worthwhile to read. - the characters - while there's some cliche-ish elements - have personalities and backgrounds that are interesting enough - the story is ok, not easy to make something good out of a college story at this point but it's on the better side considering the environments. Thank god no retarded fraternities / sororities, as a european i always founds that aspect of US system very cringe, at least the media portrayals we've all seen in movies (and VNs). - dialogues are great, it's not too much and not too little - there's enough going on to be invested in the story, but not too long to get bored and skip. I am finishing the current content and honestly I didn't skip even 1 line. This is huge and probably true to the better 10-20% of VNs I played (so 5 * makes sense for writing). Girls are well a bit too similar looking to my taste, milfs look like 23 year olds, and everyone has big enough boobs (i prefer thinner bodies) - well Rose is actually closest to what I like but she has a pretty big ass in some renders which is weird considering the rest of her body... anyway. The personality system (MC paths) is maybe unusual but at least there's some mechanic that has some impact. Feels a bit like the 'other big college game' personality system, but it's not as common to be a problem. It's limiting, but it's also an extra layer. I think there's not a lot of compromises to turn the points in the desired direction, I will surely try all 3 paths because there's interesting women on all. I went with the 'bad girl' direction to start with because I just like that type (Samara, Aurora) but Rose is really cute and sweet so she's gonna be my main balanced choice probably. But if I think of it I like all the girls to some extent, they all have something so that's good, gives some replayability, at least I'll be curious of all endings if we live long enough to see them. Best woman is the dean could look a bit more mature but in her case i find it more realistic look than the rest of the milfs and she's so cool and all. Can't wait for stuff to happen with Danielle, she could be promising, not sure yet. Perfect? - no of course, but good enough to an honest, "mid" 5 * for me. One of the VNs that deserve support for sure, I don't like patreon/ss much but if available to buy this deserves spending on to ensure the dev continues.
In my opinion, this is one of the best games right now. You can find characters for every taste. Beautiful graphics and an even better story. The developer is very hardworking and doesn't keep fans waiting long for updates. 5 stars.
Great VN. Good story, witful and rich characters, very nice content for anyone who doesnt mind reading through it. Reasonably sized models, with no ridiculous proportions give it such a natural feeling for the characters along varied bodies, i love that choise for an AVN. Overall the kind of game that is hard to find nowadays. 5/5
