Lustbringer

The good part about the game is that it has very unique, hand drawn art style that you wouldn't see often. It may be an acquired taste. The other parts of the game are not up to par. Gameplay is a bit cumbersome. The game is a grind fest. You spam repeatedly all the events of the game to acquire the resources just to be able to spam the events more. The worst part about it is that the events that you've seen already maybe 100 times are unskippable. Animations are nice and juicy and you have a decent amount of them, but eventually, if you strip all the redundant parts of the game, which has a lot of them, this game comes down to a slide show of renders and animations. Story is not really a story.. everything is just random events and every 10 days you have a miniscule "progression" towards an unfulfilling ending.

Really solid art is bogged down by lack of good animations, grindy gameplay, and uninteresting characters and story. It needs to show off its art more, rather than have you grind the same tasks over and over. This would be better off as a linear VN than this empty sandbox.

I do wish this kind of game was the standard baseline for an h-game. I don't think it's a great game, but it's clearly and h-game and has h-game focused mechanics. Story 4/10 There's three main characters, Astan, Sal, and Nere. Astan and Sal need to train Nere into becoming a Lustbringer. What's a lustbringer? Who knows? A lustbringer generates lust energy. What's that used for? No idea. I do wish the game had more world building. There's some world building like how lustful the society/country is. The populace walks around naked/half naked and have a public masturbation day... but that's it. What's a lustbringer? Really. I want more world building and plot. World building and plot make good story telling narratives. Gameplay 4/10 The gameplay is pretty basic. Each day you use lust energy to train Nere in various sex acts and at night you do some... like, town traversing or walking or something. Basically a way to exposition the world a bit and generate some resources (mood/discipline). And that's pretty much it. There's a final exam of sorts that consists of clicking a moving needle. One thing about the gameplay I didn't enjoy was, I fully trained Nere... and then had to wait to day 100. So I just had to skip skip skip skip skip until day 100. Minor quality of life, but come on. Art 7/10 This isn't the best art but it's all quite good. The figures are quite decent and many of the scenes are animated. I can tell a lot of work went into the art and it shows in a good way. Overall 5/10 The game was nice. The strongest point Lustbringer has going for it is that it's clearly an h-game. More games need to do this. That being said, the gameplay wasn't super complex and some quality of life features weren't there (like fast forwarding). And yeah, more plot/story would have elevated this game into a star of a game. The world building was there, it just wasn't used for anything. Nere was trained as a lustbringer... and that's it. Why'd I spend hours training Nere? What was the payoff? Yes, the journey is more important than the destination, but there needs to be a reason for the journey in the first place. Not just fear of losing meatball privileges.

lots of content, tideous, Gallery is large, mostly cutscenes. Unfortunately with the dialogues which you cannot turn off. Cannot rewind the scenes and it can bug sometimes. It could include more art like characters. Its ok, could be better.

Well, as a game is not much of a game. You can grind your three parameters, and watch same scenes over and over. And by "can" I mean "have to" because there is no Skip button. But on the other hand, every thing else is pretty much well executed. Except of the absence of Skip button. Art style is unique, and very bimbo-esque, but artist is not very skilled, so face anatomy is inconsistent. And there is no Skip button. Story, characters - all are very "meh". The world of sluts, where having sex is not a big deal, somehow revolves around sex. This in some point turns doind sex-scenes into a chore, so I wish there was a Skip button. All in all, it's "i don't know" out of five. There is an effort, and a soul, but the author needs some one with actual game-designing experience. At least to teach him how to make Skip buttons.

Omagadh It was unbelievable! I have bad English, but I'll try to type some words to confirm my review! At first the art was weird for me, but by the end I loved it at all my soul! There is so much H-contents, dialogs, actions, characters in this beta. Day by day, an interesting situation is developing with the MC. She has her own temperament and her own reaction to events. Her character is the opposite of that of the mentor couple. You will enjoy watching their cooperation. It will be cute, hot and a little bit cringe cause MC a mini-bitch) Thx for that exp. If the game will relise in Steam I will buy it!

Another gem by Knot Gmaes. Their games really have great pacing: You don't grind 10 mins between two sex scenes. They always deliver a lot of content, great art. and a positive approach to sex. Wholesome sex games as a whole.
