Meridian is an adult HTML game by MGHdev, described as inspired by Gateway. It is a text based RPG with animated visuals. You play a man in a strange house where you have slept badly for four months, waking at ten past four with the sense that you were somewhere wet elsewhere. The setting includes housemates, a Weir, arches, Baths, and Hall.
The current build is v0.3, released August 19, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, in English and Spanish, without censorship. The update adds seventh housemate OSSA, a fourth route called ON SHOW, two new scenes, a door branch with three differing outcomes, and voiced ARIA lines rising from 283 to 336. It also adds traits, position buttons, conversation topics, achievements, scenes, and depth to shores.
Developer's description
A game inspired by the idea of
Gateway
You've been sleeping badly for four months. Not tossing-and-turning badly waking-at-ten-past-four badly, at exactly ten past four, with the feeling of having been somewhere else and that the somewhere else was wet.
v0.3
New seventh housemate OSSA, the one you can't send on. She's on file at the Weir, but her destination doesn't answer
Her stretch has eleven arches and none has lit in fourteen months. First time you see there's a network
She's the only tanned one here, and there's no sun in this house. She lives in the Baths and sleeps in the Hall, because there's no seventh bed
New fourth route, ON SHOW. Two scenes, both where the house walks past. Her stage 2 is the first one that isn't in a bedroom
"With the door open": you can shut it. Three branches that actually differ
Voiced from day one. New voice ARIA, 336 lines in total, up from 283
Two new traits, five position buttons, two conversation topics, 4 achievements (72 in total), 2 scenes (13 in total)
Shores have a depth now, and so does every woman. Going past it costs fatigue, costs Sediment, and sometimes she comes up with nothing. The dive link warns you first
The two shallow Shores stay safe for everyone, so act I plays exactly the same. Noor and Maren are finally worth sending down
Fixed: her Baths scene is built on Teasing and was switching Teasing off
Fixed: the Pro scene jump played a scene with a woman who hadn't arrived yet
Your v0.2 saves still work
v0.2
New sixth housemate MAREN, the one who was here before. She walks up out of the current two days after the first Seal breaks, and the empty bedroom you've been sleeping in all along was hers. Two scenes and her own Reciprocal route
Maren has eight videos, so six position buttons against everyone else's four, including one where nobody touches her
Full voice acting: 283 lines, up from 218. And voice follows your reading now instead of the other way round, each line playing when you reach it with no scroll locking. Press V anywhere to switch modes
New THE WORLD screen in the menu: 26 entries on the Meridian, the Ford, custodians, the Weir, the Radiance and shifts, plus the clock table. Nothing the story hasn't told you yet shows up
The gallery is an actual gallery: image cards, all 11 scenes including the locked ones with exactly what you're missing, and replaying one plays the whole scene with its choices and its video. Free in all three editions
Fixed the run-killer: Sediment was locked behind itself. Dives were the only source and only opened after a study that cost 10, launched from an Observatory that cost 30, out of the 40 you start with. One extra night's upkeep and the run was unwinnable. Dives are open from the start now, and it repairs saves that were already stuck
Fixed: the Voice's scene could not be reached. "Step towards the centre" only appeared if you had already played the scene it leads to, so the Dead Ford always read "There's nothing here". The whole of act I hangs off that task
Fixed: Sabine's pantry and Cielo's notebooks vanished the moment you chose, because the time they charged pushed the clock past the end of the day. A scene never puts you to bed now
Food stops ambushing you: 18 provisions to start instead of 6, the HUD says how many nights of food are left, and a new STARTING THE MERIDIAN checklist walks you through the whole loop and then disappears for good
3 new achievements (68 in total), 2 new scenes (11 in total), and everything new is written in both languages

A little fun. Ai voices available. Not for me tho. Still the game does't have a lot of content. The inspiration to the gateway is palpable but its not a bad thing. Some Main caracter custumazation would be nice, since…
