A lot of wasted potential here: this could easily have been a 4/5 with just a bit more polish, but as it is it's not quite there. The main story is well written and wholesome, with some decent depth to the main characters, and there's a satisfying happy ending. Unfortunately, many other aspects are lacking or flawed. the game play is fine, nothing exceptional but it's ok; however, there's a bit of unnecessary randomness that could completely ruin a run, and the red lady is just annoying ("You spot something interesting, wanna take a look? … Oopsie, it's her, you're dead."), and she's completely unrelated to the plot, so, what's the point? the side characters feel underdeveloped, I'd have liked a bit more story involving Aoi and the Taoist dude the background art is generic slop, with wrong details that I find distracting (the sun not moving between morning and evening, fresh flower pots on the windowsills of a long time abandoned house), and very often it doesn't even match the written description (you are at a crowded festival but you're shown deserted grass fields, "the back alleys were covered in graffiti" but you're shown clean walls) in the same vein, the mechanics sometimes contradict the story ("Several days have passed" but the day counter just goes up by 1, sex positions aren't crossed out from the list until you do them a second time) the male characters have no eyes, fucking why??? I've seen this in other games and mangas and I find it ugly, weird and distracting the sex scenes are good, but they feel very rushed, they often begin abruptly with almost no lead-in there's no intimacy progression, she fucks you before you can even see her the sex wishlist makes no sense: you two are already fucking, why would you have to "unlock" fingering in the story?? What the fuck are you waiting for? Just please that sweet pussy already!

version 1.01.36 st- The other reviewer pretty much said everything. I didn't do the milk run till like day 67, lol....so as he said do it early. You can run out of money one time which i did because 1/2 way to 3/4 of the way some auto events triggered that ran me short. When you run out that one time, they give you 400 coins. The graphics are definitely better then their other game. The narrative is pretty good, and yes i even had some tears at the end. I got ending 2, happy ending. I guess 1 is you failed, so not sure what happens.....and then there is the other one which you get killed. Game loops is pretty simple and fun. I clicked on the ghost alot to get hearts early on, and it would have been nice to have her say more...you will get a lot of repeat sayings. I didn't buy supplies but found them, to each their own method. A very heart warming/feel good story. Perfect for between those heavy drama avns.

From the developers who brought us Idol Forging, we get another cohabitation/dating simulator, this time with an earthbound spirit who's got a bucket list to check off. You play as a guy who couldn't handle the city life and chose to move back to his hometown in the countryside. The house he inherited from his grandparents turns out to have another occupant, the titular ghost girl. She's childish, a little hostile at first, but slowly warms up to him and gives him a list of things she wants to do that she never accomplished in life. Much like before, game's got the AI artstyle, but nothing too glaring other than the ghost girl's skin changing from grey to pinkish during sex scenes. Sex scenes are voiced and have short looping animations between each CG variant. Gameplay loop is a little simple, though may be a bit of struggle getting off the ground. You don't have a lot of funds, and daily expenses will eat it up quickly until you unlock the milk delivery part-time job. That's at least available quite early on, then it's a matter of balancing energy and money until you can buy the items you need. You can gather materials to renovate the run-down house, but it's a bit RNG-dependent with a chance of instant game-over. Expect to reload a lot if you want to refurbish quickly without burning too much money. Plot's nice. Linear with no branching routes until the ending. You have a few dialogue choices, but (as far as I know) only one, near the end of the game, is known to affect which ending you get. Compared to Idol Forging, there's no grim twist this time, but the protag's going to struggle with inevitably needing to part ways once the ghost's bucket list is done. And depending on how you've managed everything by the grand deadline of Day 70, it's a heartwarming or bittersweet ending. A pretty fun 3-hour experience. Can be 4 if you're hunting the endings or savoring the sex scenes. Full gallery unlock is available after you've reached any ending. The game's definitely a better experience than Idol Forging but the major flaw of RNG events in the day-to-day persists. A non-significant amount of time was spent rolling to get the right upgrade materials and avoiding the instant game over. And just who is that red dress ghost anyway? 4 out of 5.
