MythGotchi is an NSFW, auto battler. You manage the mood of the myth while heading out on adventures to collect gold & items in order to get stronger. The world is at the brink of ruin. Take control over a cute and hot Fawn as she tries her utmost to survive. In a world that gets more dangerous by the day it's up to you to help save it all. In this game you can go on missions, gather gold, collect artifacts. Decorate a home and ensure that the Myth to be, is well taken care of. After all, behind every myth is a legend. And, how this Myth ends, is in your capable hands. So, prepare train until exhaustion, do fool hearty adventures or just laze about until the end of the world comes knocking. Adventure is calling, will you answer it?. Or will you leave the world to its fated doom.​

version 0.41 TLDR: New Lewds, added background change. Replaced wolf with werewolf... for reasons XD Finaly got the exp working. Skill tree added. Potion shop added, Guild hall added for quests. Added a town defence minigame when a territory is about to be corrupted. Added a memorial for permament upgrades at the cost of gold. Added Scavanging during adventure for extra gold and quests. Replaced the Demon Queen. Lewds: A bunch has happened here including a couple of new characters. All in all there are more than 10 new animations. And all animations have also gotten sounds now There are an additonal 8 animations planned so far before the game is done. Likely there will be more than that. Furnature: Added so that the background can be changed 3 options so far. Added a table and candy bowl. Maid: A maid can now be rescued while adventuring in region 1. Its required to unlock the right constellation for the quest to show up. The maid helps out when training stats. The maid also helps out during the town defense minigame. There are currently no Lewds for the maid. Tho at least 3 animations have been planed so far. Town Defence: This is a new minigame when a territory is about to become corrupt. If you successfully defend against the demon waves you delay the demon advance by a few days. To help defend you can complete quests from the guild hall to gain guild points. Along with recruiting units to help fight for you during the defense. Guild hall: The guild hall has quests. These range from Gather, Kill and recruit for the defense. It also comes with 2 new lewd animations. Tho you will need to use a Love potion to see them Potion Merchant: A new merchant has reached town. You can unlock the merchant in the skill tree. The merchant sells: Healing, Damage, Speed, Love / potions The potency of potions can be upgraded using skill points in the skill tree. You can also gain a second potion slot from the skill tree. By using a Love potion you can unlock 2 new animations from the potion seller. Memorial: This is the permanent upgrades section. you can spend your legacy gold after a game over. Or if you have unlocked the momorial in the skill tree, your regular gold during an adventure. The permament upgrades include: Extra defenders during town defence. longer delay between corruption events. a longer initial delay for the first corruption to happen. More exp earned. more gold earned. A higher starting level. The ability to retreat when your on low hp. Legacy gold is 10% of all earned gold this run - 10% of your old legacy gold. Dialogues: The plan is to add a hole bunch more, but so far I think most characters has some before each Lewd scene. They also have sounds now Saves: There is now a save button inside of settings.(new) The game also auto saves every 5 minutes.(new) It also saves when the exit button on the game window is clicked. Unfortunetly there is a hole bunch of new stuff not directly compatable with old saves. You might need to delete your old save and start over for everything to work properly. Character Changes: Since I plan on selling the game on Steam: I have needed to change a couple of characters as well. First of since I want to split the game in a SFW version with a NSFW dlc I have changed out the demon queen. And, to follow guidelines I have changed some characters to be more humanoid. This includes the following: Bunnys : Wolf (Werewolf now). The demon queen has clothes and look more like a demon. The demon turtle has been replaced with a imp and flying imp. Linux: I'm working on adding support for Linux. Tho its important to keep in mind that my only Linux machine is a steam deck. The game works there using touch screen only. So if you are running Linux do check the demo before any purchase just to make sure it works. Demo: Currently the demo is the same version as the full game, save for the popup asking for a steam wish list XD For the future: The demo here will be removed. and an actual demo that contains about 1 hour of the game will be added to a separate page. Since Itch.IO has delisted this page I cant link to it without risking a ban. For that reason I'm making a sperate DEMO page later on, when my steam demo is ready. The page will then link to steam and not here. Steam: As mentioned previously I plan on releasing the game on steam as a SFW base game + free NSFW DLC. If you'd rather have the game there then check out the link above. Future Updates: As I mentioned previously I need to make a demo for the next fest. That will be at the latest 2 to 3 weeks from now. so around 23-30th this month. Beyond that there should be 1 more update but I don't know exactly when. In regards to the planed full release of the game its on 13 July hopefully And yes that full version will be added here so no need to worry XD Remaining Features: What you can expect to see added to the game before the launch. 2 more characters added.(Harpy & Ghost) About 15+ more lewd animations. A kitchen for cooking food that gives lasting buffs. A fishing mini game, for quests and gathering resources. Admittedly it's unfinished, but some really core concepts are good and bad for this game. Game over after ~5 deaths is awful (Why not roguelike progression?). Base building is a good idea. Attribute minigames are meh/awful. Gear is somewhat satisfying when it starts getting OP. H content is extremely sparse and short animations. Like the other review mentions, hope this one can see what Oni did right, add it, improve it, clean up the awkward portions of the current project, and maybe v1.0 could really be OK.

v0.36 demo You know why Onigotchi was so well-received? Because it was intuitive and it had a simple but polished design. It had barely any pixels compared to this, but what was there was smooth and easy enough to understand. This game heavily draws from Onigotchi and it shows, and some things it expands on and does better, but for the most part it comes across as a lesser clone of Oni. Pros and Improvements compared to Oni: - The minigames for training are expanded on, rather than just a "click at the right time" there is a match 3 falling things, a click rapidly game and a really bizarre at first cannon shooting game. - There is equipment, more so than just simple relic choices. This could be considered a negative if you prefer streamlined design, but equipment choices is usually a good thing so it's going here. - It's easier, because of having multiple dungeons to choose from rather than being locked into one, and training being simpler to access, you can actually bulk up and be quite okay without forcing yourself to lose again and again. - Home design, can place and move furniture. To be honest with this and all the above systems it's pretty impressive what has been done here. The Negatives compared to Oni: - As I say, intuitive design. Oni you could see something and know what it does, or there would be a "highlighted thing here, better click it" no-words tutorial to guide you initially. That is sorely lacking here. Do you know how to rest? You need to go to furniture and scroll up (Yes you can scroll, it's just a barely visible scroll bar) and buy a bed then place it down. Do you know what any of those bottom icons mean? Well you might after 15-20 minutes but good luck figuring out that a 16 pixel symbol of a blue and grey chessboard means rain which means shower need. As I say, it's ok, but it's seriously harder than it needs to be. - The symbols are indecipherable. I get the style going for, but as above you seriously cannot tell what half the symbols in the UI mean. I thought the rabbit symbol was a zombie at first! I thought the rain icon was a daytime thing. The furniture you cannot tell at all unless you click it and a tooltip shows up! Hold on a tooltip shows up?? Why wasn't there one placed for the needs and dungeon things then? Don't know! - The "death" system. I had a few defeats on the way and just lost gold, then on some random non-boss turtle I die and it's game over. Why? What happened? Why is this different to any of my other deaths? It doesn't tell you. Just showed me game over (which wasn't even a H one) and that's it, start over again. No thanks, this is where I quit the game. - The H isn't worth it. This is the saddest negative to state in a H game, but the lower resolution and more pixelated Onigotchi H was better than this here. The movements are stiff and robotic, the H itself is barely visible, and I think you even have to get lucky enough to go to 3x hearts in a dungeon just to see the "climax" animation, which doesn't look any different from the normal animation, just faster and maybe a bit of white? Too hard to tell. I genuinely wasn't sure the rabbit was titfucking here until I squinted and really focused on where those 2 pixels of dick were going. 3/5, it's ok and with a tutorial, tooltips or just helpful highlights it could be a good spiritua successor. But for now it's just too unintuitive to make me want to do a second attempt after a death I still don't understand.
