About Niamare Vanaride
Niamare Vanaride is a 3D animated horror survival game made by Kuraaku in Unreal Engine. You play as Nia, a female protagonist who wakes inside a dark castle filled with decay, dripping water, and bloodstained stone. She does not know how she arrived, but she must escape by using traps, cleverness, and survival will. The place is ruled by paranormal non-human figures, including a blood-covered Lady, a Blind Man, an Old Man guarding gates, and a small girl in a white dress. The game presents voiced scenes and a tense fight against a castle that seems alive.
The current build is Demo 2025-04-30, released on April 29, 2025 for Windows. It is an English-language demo with no censorship. The demo is still being updated. The latest April 30 update fixed a main menu costume save problem, a door unlock problem, environment bugs, and voice subtitle issues. Earlier changes added outfit choice before animation pickup, new bunny suit, hair styles, skin type, a punishment animation, a collection tab, cutscene skip, and free movement in punishment scenes.

The tragedy just began. Amidst the thick darkness, the castle loomed like a slumbering beast, swallowing all who dared step inside. Nia awoke in the cold, damp shadows, surrounded by the sound of dripping water, the stench of decay, and dried bloodstains smeared across the stone floor. She didn't know why she was here, but one thing was certain—she had to escape. She had to fight. The endless corridors whispered secrets of horrors beyond imagination. The rulers of this place were not human—they were grotesque creatures born of cruelty and nightmares. The Lady bathed in blood, the Blind Man hunted in the dark, and the Old Man guarded the gates like an executioner. And above them all, a little girl in a white dress—small, fragile, yet wielding the most terrifying power of all. There was only one way forward: destroy them. With wit as her weapon, traps set in place, and the unyielding will to survive, Nia must bring this entire castle to ruin… before it devours her forever.
