About Nick Marlote Noir

Nick Marlote Noir is a Ren'Py visual novel by ShamanLab, presented with 3DCG artwork. You play a private detective whose usual work involves adultery cases. After taking what appears to be a routine job, he begins to suspect that a hidden organization lies behind it. The story mixes crime, science fiction, and horror, with episodic structure and multiple continuing plot threads. The first three episodes introduce three linked storylines that later updates are meant to develop.

The current build is v0.525f, released on August 13, 2023, and development remains ongoing. It runs on Windows and Linux in English, with no censorship. The latest listed update added a karma-linked option where Nick kills cats, very short MET 3500 television ads, and Jess morgue erotic scenes.

Developer's description

This visual novel offers crime and sci-fi stories with a touch of hot eroticism. As the title suggests, the protagonist of the novel is a private detective who usually investigates cases of adultery. Taking on one seemingly ordinary case, he begins to suspect that he has encountered a mysterious underground organization... Spoiler In each new update you will find new characters or new Nick clients, new unexpected plot twists and new adventures. The game has anepisodic structure and you can select any episode from the game's start menu. The first three episodes are not unrelated. Three main storylines appear in them, which will not be discarded or forgotten, but will be developed and implemented in the next updates. Formally known as "Nick Marlowe Noir"
