Night over Day

Sorry, but who do you play as? Becky? Who is Becky? Other characters get more screen time than the actual protagonist? Aside from that, the images sometimes have very awkward perspectives or are poorly designed. If you have an image where the background is sharp and the foreground is blurred, why are both views blurry in the following image, where the focus is supposed to be on the medicine? What's the point of the constant blurry views? Is the character or the player suffering from dizziness? There are far too many characters in just the first chapter. This makes it impossible to develop a connection with the main character, and you quickly lose interest in getting to know all the other characters if you can't tell whether they'll play a role later. The narrative structure is too chaotic. There are sometimes excessively long loading times before the next image appears or the text loads. The game in its current form [v0.15] doesn't exactly inspire me to continue playing. Perhaps it will rekindle my interest later if the changelog promises some improvements. Currently, it's only worth 2 stars.

Version 0.15 A confusing story about women suffering from various mental and physical disorders, and to make it even harder to follow, the story also includes a girl with magical powers. I could not finish the story, so take this with a grain of salt. Pros: 1- Nice-looking female characters. 2- Some nice renders and sets. Cons: 1- The story is a confusing mess, and the pacing is awful, constantly jumping from one character to another. It might have been wiser to focus on just one character or at least explain from the beginning why there are so many troubled characters in the story. 2- If the writing were better, the story might be salvageable. Unfortunately, it is also subpar, which makes the story unbearable. Boner rating - Flaccid I try to be constructive here, but I would give up on this one. The story is too disjointed and wasn't very interesting to begin with. The only way this could be salvaged is if it were completely rewritten, from top to bottom. The dev has a good eye and can create nice-looking characters and renders. I would suggest he/she seek help with the writing or offer his/her services to a writer. Good luck!

Im not doing my custom full review here, this AVN is just a mess. Firstly the visuals are decent, really not bad at all so good job there. But the writing and plot driving is like puke in tumble dryer. It jumps around to random characters and random scenes and you can't make heads or tales of whats going on. The initial first few minutes was fine, but things start happening that are not tied together well at all. There is no structure and dialogue is just so random!. While the dev says they not a story writer, I can appreciate the honesty, but here is my honesty, go sit down and plan your plot. Stick to real world elements as much as possible, that way the player can related better. You can intro all your characters independently and have them connect through there personal issues. e.g. where one would imagine a group counseling scene where these people get to know each other. The dev decides to use some kid thats a fairy or has some mystical, alien, sci-fi powers to teleport and trip the sun if she wants? WTF. You don't need to drop fantasy, but you can't just drop random shit one after the other and come out with kid having God like powers with no rhyme or reasoning, nor any context or established order. Until this patchwork mess of a "story" is fixed, I can't recommend this AVN at all.
