Obsession is a 3D game made by Merc_ with Unreal Engine. You play a man who travels to an old family home to relax during a difficult period in his life. The weather complicates his stay, and he must survive the elements while trying not to lose his mind as unsettling events unfold. The game blends horror with humor and has a sandbox style.
The current build is version 0.2, released on January 31, 2025 for Windows in English, with no censorship. Development continues. This update fixed some sound effects, resolved getting stuck near closed doors, partially redesigned animations, and redesigned the ghost model. It introduced a pause screen that includes graphics and audio options, along with ESC keyboard instructions. A save system now lets players use older saves and replay completed parts. An event log can be opened with J to show required actions. One level also allows lighting placed candles.

What is added in the new version:

A system for saving levels has been developed with the ability to run saves (old versions) in subsequent releases, as well as now you can run any completed part at will.
An event log has been added, activated by pressing the "J" button during the game, temporarily displays the required actions, helping the player to better navigate if there are difficulties with passing.
At one of the levels, it became possible to light candles placed around the house, for this it is necessary to observe a couple of conditions, interaction with candles occurs only if you hold a lighted match in your hand, as well as find directly next to the candle you want to light.
A new level with interactive interactions has been added, the player will have the opportunity to choose the answer, as well as the choice of actions on which the reaction of the characters around him will depend (this system is under development for further updates)
