About Profiler

Profiler is a Ren'Py adventure from DiveBar, built around a male protagonist returning to his hometown after a childhood accident. You play as someone who once wanted to become a detective, then abandoned that goal because fear and distrust kept him from qualifying. Prompted by a friend, he follows a faint clue, meets many new people, and faces a looming crisis while learning to protect those close to him. The game presents animated 3D CG visuals and episodic storytelling, mixing adventure, horror, and romance.

The current build is v0.4.3.1, released on July 24, 2026, and development continues. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with English, Chinese, and Russian language support. The game is uncensored. The latest update redesigned the interface and user experience, improved CG animation playback and transitions, and added Main Story Chapter Four: Desperate. That chapter focuses on strategy, deception, and danger around intimate moments, while welcoming players back to Lundon.

Developer's description

Following a mysterious accident in your childhood that resulted in the loss your parents, you were adopted by distant relatives. You vowed to become a detective to uncover the truth about that fateful day. However, eroded by childhood fears and sorrow, your inability to trust others meant you could never be a qualified detective. You gave up on your goal. Spoiler But at the strong insistence of a friend, you returned to your hometown and grasped a faint clue, facing the nightmares of the past once more. As the investigation deepened, you unexpectedly discovered that you might be different from others... During this journey, the reclusive you gradually made many friends who seemed to change your inner world. But as the truth slowly emerged, not only must you prepare for the looming crisis,you also need to learn how to protect the important people around you.
