Resist Extra Dimensional
by RedRabbitTh
R.E.D is a visual novel about interdimensional gates, fantasy worlds, monsters, and modern-day soldiers. You play as Agent No. 01 of the organization R.E.D (Resist Extra Dimensional), tasked with protecting civilians from otherworldly creatures, dealing with criminal threats from alternate realms, and going undercover as a student within R.E.D’s academy. Face challenges alongside a cast of unique heroines. Your choices will determine how many of them stay by your side—and yes, a harem ending is possible.

v0.1.5
I've been reworking the English translation from the ground up. It's probably not perfect yet, but I believe it's much better than before. I've also rewritten the ending of Version 0.1 so that it better connects with the story in Version 0.2.
In addition, I've added a new Character UI that includes an image gallery, along with special images that can be unlocked throughout the game.
All of these changes are included in Version 0.1.5.
Important: You will need to start a new game to experience these changes properly. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Initial Release
As of v0.1, I like the overall concept and execution of the storyline, except the only gripe i have is the game suffers from a lack of an actual English language editor and the flaws of using something like google translate. The prologue even has the problem of not even trying to translate a few words/names but instead leaves them in Thai language script, and as for the rest of v0.1 there are a few instances where using a bot translator fails to correctly identify who is being talked to and/or about, i.e., using "you" when talking about themselves and not who they're talking to/towards . Another minor flaw I've noticed but isn't too major enough to drop my rating lower than 4 ⭐'s is the pacing being a little too fast at the start and the small problem of plotholes when pushing the storyline where viewers have to fill in the lines for themselves. Again, these aren't too major for me and the story and concepts are engaging enough to earn the rating score I am giving.
I rarely, truth be told this is the first time , try AVNs that are version 0.1, aka only first chapter, but this AVN is worth it, so much worth it..... I want more It´s amazing, from MC execution, background at spec ops, badass action scenes and moments, to atmosphere and overal tone of the story and setting. There are cute and adorable moments at one moment, and purely special operative mode in the next, and I couldn´t ask for more... Give this a try if you can, as it is truly worth the time and I hope that it will continue doing what it is doing right now, because it is peak. Thanks a lot RedRabbitThailand for making this and best of luck to You.
I want more!!! This game will carry itself by story alone.... mark my words. Things that are amazing: Banger story-telling. The opening scene is so good and well done. It's a concept we have seen before but execution is done so nicely that I don't even mind. Renders are top notch. Well-designed scenes like zoom-in/out vs blurs and use of amazing camera angles. Music is well placed Action scenes are chef's kiss. MC is likeable (not a horn dog with million monologue). Plus he is good looking. Girls are sexy af. Bit cliché at times but very early in story to know what multifaceted personalities they will develop. There some handholding.(Need my kisses and head pats pls!). Things that need improvement: So the English isn't bad actually. I usually get very wary based on other reviews but it's doable (99% legible and flows well). The only thing is sometimes it appears a bit choppy. Like "x happened" or sentences are shorter and scenes move quickly. I think flushing out scenes would not only cut down your time on rendering but also make your story even better (it's already a banger). The first h-scene kinda comes out of nowhere. It is avoidable with choices but I feel like even if you pick choices leading to H scene I feel like it could have been executed a bit better by flushing out the moment. Maybe kisses? Some cuddles? Then going to bj? Having a codex page with history/lore plus having a stats page with "love" markers for LI along with their dedicated galleries and such. Some renders I feel like MC looks quite different (softer features) compared to some where he looks good again. Could be just old renders which might need rework in future. Verdict : Absolutely pick it up if you have time. It's very well executed and can potentially rival other cool HS titles in terms of scene choreography and characters. V0.1 has 2hr of content btw at times of this writing.
(Review is for 0.1 version. Rating subject to change in future updates or upon completion of game) This feels like a visual novel made by a dev trying to punch above their weight, and I respect that. Unfortunately, while the effort is commendable, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Story is fine (not exactly original, but somewhat entertaining enough), but the machine-translated English isn't really doing it any favors. Render quality is okay, but posing looks basic. Camera work during action scenes is solid, but actual fight choreography lacks that "oomph" factor and needs more work (this is probably my biggest gripe with this game, as I get what the dev is going for but I feel like their vision seems to be held back by their limited experience). UI is way too barebones and absolutely needs a character page of sorts to keep track of the LIs and major characters in the game. Other than that, it feels like an average popcorn flick of an AVN. Not the worst thing in the world, but could do with a lot more improvement and polish.
This visual novel game has an interesting story and characters. The arrival of people from other dimensions—how will the main character deal with them? The difficulty of visual novels lies in keeping the story engaging for the player. However, I will continue to follow the next version. Keep up the good work!
This game still needs a good editor for the English version. Machine translation screws up some of the pronouns in ways that make it necessary to re-read the occasional line. Ordinarily I would knock off a star because of that, but the storytelling with good pacing and comprehensible background grabbed me and held on. The characters are compelling and interesting people with inner conflicts and interpersonal tensions that make me want to find out what happens with them. On top of all that, the action sequences had me clicking right along to see how the MC dealt with seemingly insurmountable opposition. Not only that, but the MC clearly has unexplained hidden abilities we've seen something from in the action sequences that I will look forward to learning more about. One more real plus is that the update includes an really respectable amount of content. I hope the previous reviewer gives this another look and maybe finds it more impressive.
Review for Prologue. length: 7-10 minutes long story: 10-year-old MC and the monsters' gate open (another game where MC's parents are dead). Then, 10 years later, MC joins R.E.D., a special ops-like company. He rescues 3 girls, then a mystery person beats crap out of him until his powers awake. They fight, and the bad guy runs away. MC wakes up in the hospital, and 2 Li are shown being affectionate to MC. Then the time jump and the end. Characters: cast seems OK for now, nothing stands out Renders: decent, animations are also respectable. Choices are minimal, only affecting affection points currently.
