Return to the Abbey is a dark erotic Ren'Py visual novel from SCIMITAR VISUAL NOVELS. You play a man who returns to his hometown after seven months in prison, finding himself homeless and broke. The story centers on rebuilding his life, avoiding a return to prison, finishing exams, and possibly finding love, while his younger sister Louise and her school hockey teammates, now adults, surround him. It blends dating sim choices with an animated, AI CG style.
The current build is the v1.6 free demo, released August 7, 2026, for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android. It is in English and uncensored. This update expands the demo with Day Zero through Day Three, introducing the game style, basic structure, and many characters. It adds seventy-two reworked images, two reworked animations, fuller character profile pages, and fixes for profile-page and phone-menu button problems, giving one extra day of gameplay over the previous demo.
