Rose, the Hungry Heroine is a 2D adult adventure game made by Mindusky with RPG Maker. It follows Rose, a witch who has learned a forbidden spell to shrink other beings and then consume or crush them. The premise asks whether she can use that power for good against evil creatures threatening defenseless people, and whether she can become a heroine. The game is more visual novel than battle focused, so there are no combat encounters. It uses animated and static 3D CG scenes. Some events include adult content where Rose uses magic to become a futa and share intimate moments with women. The main themes are fantasy, female protagonist, and corruption.
The current build is version 0.2, released January 3, 2025. The changelog calls it an initial release and notes that it includes various animated sequences and static scenes. It runs on Windows and Mac, is in English, and is uncensored.
Developer's description
Rose is a witch who masters the forbidden spell of shrinking other beings, to then enjoy devouring and/or crushing them. But what if that forbidden spell was a gift? What if she used it to do good by eating or crushing evil beings that attack defenseless people? Could she become a heroine? Let's find out. Additional notes: In some events, Rose can also use her magic to become a futa and have fun with other ladies. This is more of a visual novel kind of game, so there are no battles.
