About Sonata

Sonata is a text-based adult game made with HTML by GlossandGlamour. You play a female protagonist who is mentally altered and confined in a Wetsuit, joining the few people able to pilot an Instrument against a world-wide Dissonant song. The story frames city defense as a duty, while failure brings punishment or worse. The presentation uses animated 2D and AI-generated CG, with themes of science fiction, female domination, and mind control.

Development is ongoing with version v0.6g, released March 22, 2026 for Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, uncensored. The latest update adds a full chapter set in the Dissonant Research Wing. New activities include hacking with 05, Dissonance exposure tests with 02, and neural load challenges with 01-P. You can also confront a Dissonant Wetware and either break her or possibly repair her. The update introduces a local save system, a settings page available at game start, a machine-generated image removal option, an endgame status screen, dozens of new images, and image display limiters intended to keep the interface stable. The build may still contain bugs.
