The world is losing faith in its heroes. Once-celebrated protectors now find themselves facing growing suspicion and mistrust. Amid this turmoil, STALWART — a struggling superhero organization in New York City — fights to keep hope alive. Spoiler Michael Sharpe, a down-on-his-luck photographer, is given a rare chance at redemption when he's unexpectedly recruited by the enigmatic Anna Morgenstern, the leader of STALWART. His task seems simple: capture the essence of the superheroes and restore their image. But there's more to this job than meets the eye. Anna sees something in Michael that even he doesn't understand. The more he delves deeper into the world of STALWART and its flawed but beautiful heroes, the more he begins to realize that his role in this story is far greater than he ever imagined. But dark forces are at play, and someone — or something — is determined to stop him before he discovers the truth. In a world where trust is a rare commodity and desire can be both a weapon and a weakness, you must navigate a web of intrigue, passion, and peril to find your place among the Defenders of Desire. The Game: Supermodel: Defenders of Desire is an intricately crafted erotic thriller that takes a more nuanced, down-to-earth look at superheroes and their role in the world, centered around a profoundly erotic core. The game's story is part visual novel and part collectible card game with no microtransactions. For players only interested in the story, the card game aspect can be freely disabled. Inspired by games like Steins;Gate and stories like Watchmen.

Update 8 - v1.8.1 Fixed: A breaking change in Ren'Py caused the deckbuilder card list to become unscrollable. This has now been fixed. Update 8 - v1.8.0 Added: Three new story chapters. Added: New atmospheric music. Added: Multiple new and updated database entries. Fixed: Corrected typos in the database. Known Issue: You may experience intermittent flickering during certain transitions. This is due to an apparently unintended change in Ren'Py and should resolve itself in a future version. I apologize for the inconvenience. Update 7 - v1.7.1 Added: A dynamic database that unlocks as you play the game, featuring vastly expanded lore and thorough documentation for the card game rules. The total word count is over 17,000. Changed: Adjusted and standardized some card terminology. Fixed: Cards in epic booster packs would be common rarity if they weren't epic or rare. After the fix, any card that isn't epic or rare will be guaranteed uncommon, if possible. Update 7 - v1.7.0 Added: New story chapter for Seraphim. Added: New card game scenario for Seraphim. Added: Two new challenge cards for use in the new scenario. Added: Card upgrade system for model cards. Upgrade opportunities happen after winning certain scenarios and are only offered once per scenario. Added: Temporary semi-hidden button on the booster pack purchase screen. This button allows you to swap your chosen card upgrade as many times as you want so that you can try out both options. This button will be removed in a future update. Added: A new filter category in the deckbuilder for damage types. Added: A popup infobox when selecting a scenario. This infobox provides helpful information about the scenario before you choose your deck and difficulty. Added: Pressing the H key during a card match toggles the interface on and off. When hidden, only the background art is visible. Added: Support for Streamer Mode in card scenarios and photo viewer. Changed: The deck overview in the deckbuilder is now clickable. Clicking any card in your deck scrolls the deckbuilder to that card. Changed: Redesigned layout for Heat and Usable Heat values next to the Heat bar. Additionally, Usable Heat is now visible above 50. Fixed: Highlight sometimes not shown when dragging a card over a challenge card in the first turn's challenge phase. Fixed: Double-clicking or double-tapping a card in the deckbuilder failed to bring up the detailed card view. After fix, opens on single-click. Update 6 - v1.6.0 Added two new story chapters, including a sex scene. "Always show story in scenarios" will no longer show story boxes twice the first time you play a scenario. Minor text revisions. Update 5 - v1.5.0 Three new card scenarios, one for each superhero. These scenarios are quite different from the existing ones, allowing you to photograph the girls in casual clothes instead of superhero costumes. One short new story chapter serving as an interlude before the new scenarios. Added the new epic card "(Not So) Subtle" based on a concept by Lucoire, one of the game's patrons. Short stories may now be displayed at various times during card game scenarios. This should make them feel more connected to the main story. These stories are only shown once and never again (see below). Stories added retroactively to all existing card game scenarios as well as the new ones. Three new challenge cards for use in the new scenarios. Two new options in the preferences screen: "Always show story in scenarios" will display short stories in scenarios even if you've seen them before. "Video volume" allows you to adjust the audio played by video files separately. Changed the "Forgot Something" challenge card type from Skill to Confidence. Corrected the starting turn for phase two of challenge card draws. Some difficulties say you'll start drawing more challenge cards per turn starting on a specific turn number. In reality, the increased card draw happened one turn later than it claimed. It's unclear when this bug was introduced, so you might not notice a difference. Standardized and clarified some language concerning the phrases "in play" and "on the table" in the detailed card descriptions. Descriptions will now prefer to use "in play" unless there are specific reasons to do otherwise. Expanded the difficulty settings behind the scenes to support special rules and situations needed for the new scenarios. Update 4 - v1.4.0 New Anna story chapter: "Under Siege" 3 new card game scenarios, one for each of Blink, Seraphim, and Vanguard. 7 new challenge cards for use in the new scenarios. Only some of these are used in this version. Reversed sorting order for scenarios, showing the latest first instead of last. Added a Concede button in card matches. Difficulties are now defined per scenario, allowing for nearly infinite customizability during scenario design in the future. The card collection in the deckbuilder is now sorted alphabetically. Reduced the cost of playing the Epic cards Passion, Resourcefulness, and Resolve from 20 to 16 Heat. Increased Heat Gain from the "Turned On" card from 6 to 7. Lowered Trust requirement to play "One More Time" from 4 to 3. Update 3 - v1.3.0 Added a new Michael chapter ("Burned Bridge"). Added the first Sybil story chapter ("Glitch"), which means that all character banners can now be enabled. Fixed a bug that meant multiple copies of "This is Fine" would only provide a maximum of 2 Usable Heat per turn. Corrected the descriptive text for the "Turned On" card. This does not affect the card's behavior. Removed the photo album button from banners that shouldn't have it. Added a one-time +1 Heat bonus to the "Visor" card. Update 2 - v1.2.0 Added a new Blink chapter ("Nightmare"), the longest chapter in the game so far. You can now view the pictures from a photo shoot by clicking the icon that appears on its banner after completing it. Clicking a character banner for Blink, Seraphim, or Vanguard in the main menu now displays their full name, making them easier to remember. Update 1 - v1.1.0 Added Blink's brief introductory chapter. Added a new scenario for Blink with four new or modified Challenge cards. Added five new cards that can be found in booster packs. Four of these cards are Uncommon and one is Epic. Since you can have up to three of each Uncommon card, that means there are 13 new cards to collect. Added four unique Model cards for Blink. Added History to the game menu while you play the story chapters. You can now filter your card collection in the deckbuilder using the new button in the bottom left corner of the screen. You are now limited to a maximum of 2 Epic cards per deck. If you already have a deck with 3 Epic cards, you can continue to play with it as before, but if you change it in the deckbuilder, you must first get rid of one of the cards. "Resourcefulness" now applies its cost halving *after* Burnout has been calculated. The game should now force the saved data to be written to disk between chapters. Previously this only happened when the game was closed, which meant that a hard crash could result in data loss. Removed Burnout effect from "Ready When You Are". Fixed visual bugs in Anna Chapter 2. The Deckbuilder card list is now draggable on all platforms. This is an experimental feature and may be reverted based on feedback. Let me know what you think. v1.0.0 Initial Release

I'm not normally a VN-fan, but I gave this one a try anyway, mainly because of the designer. And wow, I was impressed. Sure, it's a slow burn. Don't expect steamy action right away. Actually, in the current version (1.6), there's hardly any NSFW-content at all. And that's a shame, because the few scenes we have are great, and the characters are interesting and sexy, so I'm hoping for more. But that also means it's realistic. No "wow, you have a big dick, I'm gonna fuck you within 5 minutes"-scenes here. You're building towards it. The story is nothing short of excellent. You'll discover it along the way, and I am really looking forward to seeing the twists and turns this game will bring in further updates. I'm following this one, and am eagerly looking forward to the next upgrade.

Feel somewhat unsure about giving 3 or 4 stars for rating. The game offers fine graphics, seemingly enjoyable story and characters. Still the game itself is in weird state, by my opinion - the "offer" of progressing individual characters makes me feel like i can focus on the "relationship" i like and such, however you still have some type of unlock conditions intertwined so you realistically have to progress in some form of even engagement throughout all characters. This also somewhat ruins the immersion for me as the game could be linear novel as well, tho it still throws me into the selection menu to find and watch/play the following part. Regarding the card game, im very positive. It feels nice, doesn't feel that intrusive, tho i feel it could do better in the linear settings rather than now. Couldn't find/understand when or if i can change the "engine" already played for another, so that might be a con. The deck creation however felt awful to me. The lack of meaningful or intuitive sorting creates unpleasant experience. Furthermore not being able to quickly browse the cards in deck makes it hard to make reasonable and valid changes based on newly discovered cards. Therefore experience-vise the game feels very lacking and should deserve 3*, still based on story, characters and premise I feel the 4* im giving are reasonable version 1.6.0

Super weird start, playing as everyone's point of view, super chaotic, can't make too much sense of it. Also too much to read, not enough stuff happening. Looks polished it's just the whole framework seems bad.

Review Supermodel: Defenders of Desire [U6 v1.6.0] It might really be that I’m just not the target audience for this game. Most people seem to enjoy it, but I just can’t get into it. The way people think and the way the narrative is told feels as if everyone is acting on a theater stage. On top of that, the story is told from the perspective of several protagonists, and you constantly have to search for where the next chapter unlocks. By the time I reached the card game, I was so tired of reading that I honestly didn’t want to read anymore and simply gave up. And I don’t even want to get into what’s going on with the male protagonist’s hair. I’m sorry if I sound harsh here, since I know the developer is capable of making good games. But I do want to point out that the developer clearly stated this would not be like their previous game, so I’m judging it on its own. Unfortunately, based on what I’ve seen so far, it just didn’t work for me at all.

[1.5] Brilliant writing and world-building - I really want to know what happens next! UI/graphics are wonderful. The sex content is still being built up to but based on Belle's previous game I have no doubt it will be great. The game respects the player (streamer options! skip the entire card game!) and dev is open about development. Five stars for this work in progress. One suggestion would be to be clearer which character has an available chapter e.g. via a border. And the previous reviewer missed that the Escape menu has text history without needing to restart the chapter if missed something, so information about that might be shown once.

Review of v1.4.0 The dev was great to outline the major differences between this game and their last. I'll admit, I was concerned after reading them. And, indeed, as someone who generally prefers single point of view and male protag for porn games, I was additionally concerned about the tags. But having played all currently available content, I think my concerns were entirely misplaced. The additional points of view give excellent insight into the complex character and world Belle has developed. And, perhaps, most important to (kinda sad) people like me, they are, so far, all about character development and not about other sexual relationships. Yeah, I know... I feel storytelling, world building and character development are the cornerstones of this game. And that's a breath of fresh air. I'm so burned out on VNs that I rarely bother with them anymore. These days, they have to be a good, nay, a really good story first. Porn is now just a bonus. And Supermodel has a really good story. When I wasn't playing it, I was thinking about it and wanting to get back to it. That's about the highest praise I can think of. Aside from that, the renders are lovely. The only MF sex scene was a little underwhelming, but I'm a person who prefers stills over animations unless the animations are really top notch, and I think I'm in the minority on that. The one F sex scene was excellent though. The card game is fun and yet completely optional. The only reason to raise the difficulty is to improve the card rewards... which you only need to raise the difficulty... so you can raise the card rewards... You get the point. Despite that, I was finding myself wanting to up the difficulty on some fights. Others were quite hard. But they were still fun. And as VN mini-games go, it's about as good as it gets. The deck builder is badly in need of some user interface improvements like filters and sorting, but I suspect they are coming and, even as-is, the interface is so clean and professional that it's very usable now. I made about 5 decks for the few "battles" currently implemented. When enabled, they are necessary (up until 3 tries) to advance. But I think I kind of regret the lack of an immediate payoff for winning aside from the received expansion pack and being able to continue the story. I'm not sure if there's a good way to implement this without losing the advantages of separating the card game though, so it's probably best left as-is. Maybe just a really short exchange about the success of the photo shoot would suffice to satisfy what feels missing there. The ability to go back and replay any scene is very well done. However, one side effect of being able to choose scenes, including which new scene you watch next amongst multiple, gives a slightly disjointed feel to the flow of the game. But that's a quibble especially since the user experience is incredibly polished. Well, except for rolling back dialog being disabled. That's a pretty serious problem. I accidentally left-click all the time and several times I had to return to the main menu, restart the scene, Ctrl to the right spot, woops went too far, go to the main menu, restart the scene, Ctrl... yeah that was annoying. I guess the fact that I didn't want to miss even one line of dialogue is a weird compliment. This seems especially unnecessary since the actual VN parts are currently completely linear. However, I suspect it's to protect the card game sections from screwing up. But, wow, I hope that the dev can find a way to protect the latter while allowing rollback on the former. It's a pretty big deal. As with any great in-progress game, I was heartbroken when I hit the end of the current content. Great job so far Belle. I'm super intrigued by the story you are telling.

Really enjoyable game to play. Nice diversity of the female characters and the card game element was fun and sort of addictive! A pleasant surprise and looking forward to seeing how it evolves over time

I guess this has its audience, but it's not me and I don't think ti will be most people. The base is an awful card game that I can't see anyone wanting to engage with. There's kind of a story but it's segmented and awkward and unengaging. The way it's segmented I suppose is meant to seem like a sandbox but it's a mess. It's still basically kinetic the way you need to play it, so the segmenting wasted the last potential remaining after the card game

Review as of v1.1.0 (1/14/25) This game is a bit unique, there are very few deckbuilders in the AVN space, and none that are quite like this one. The CCG is 1: optional, and 2: highly adjustable in difficulty. I really enjoyed the gameplay of the CCG, though it would be nice to have a forfeit button because it's entirely possible to get into a Turn 5 board state that is just not winnable, and having to play out the rest of the turns is a waste of time. Characters are decent, both visually and in dialogue. It's a little too early to really tell how all of them will turn out, but I'm rating it pretty highly right now on potential. It is a pretty slow start for adult content, there is only a female masturbation scene in this release, but it is animated, and done fairly well. That said, it's pretty clear that the MC will be involved with all the women in the title card sooner rather than later. All in all, a very solid first release that has potential to be top-tier game when completed.

The split story lines are very good and a novel idea. The way the story proceeds from various perspectives is also unique though it can be a bit confusing at times. Artwork is good and pacing may be slow (sex scenes take some time to get to). Looking forward to the development of this game

Supermodel 1.0.0 At it's core, this seems to be a story about superheros that have very human problems/weaknesses (and I assume eventually helping them overcome them) which, while not exactly breaking new ground, is usually a template I like when executed well. After the playing through the introductory 1.0.0 release I've got very mixed feelings on the game. The (fully optional) collectable card game aspect I found to be well polished, fun, and addictive. Everything else just was just disappointing. The renders look dated, the characters are mostly uninteresting, and the writing/story has a laundry list of issues that made most chapters a painful slog to get through. This is a story that really wants you to think about it but simultaneously requires that you turn your brain off to have any chance of suspending your disbelief due to the way things are written. I really hope this is just a case of a poorly realized and overdone introduction because the ideas and the card game both have tremendous potential. I'll likely check it out again once the story is further along to see if it improves but for now this is a great card game attached to poor VN which I can't give a rating of higher than average overall. Do check it out for yourselves though (especially if you've ever played a CCG or think you might enjoy the card game aspect of it) as I think the writing style and story will still appeal to certain people and the author isn't someone lacking in skill or innovative ideas. More detailed breakdown (includes some spoilers): Spoiler Visuals: The character models aren't really anything special (the MC's hair is definitely special but not in a good way) and dated-looking renders don't do them any favors. The renders aren't as low resolution as the author's last game but are somehow less appealing and often a bit too fuzzy with the details. There aren't a lot of static renders per chapter so you'll frequently be staring at the same one for long amounts of time while reading through many many lines of writing. Realistic backgrounds are sometimes used to mixed results - sometimes they work well enough and others they just look awful with the rendered characters and 3d objects composited over them unnaturally. Sprites are also used against rendered backgrounds for certain locations which I had mixed feelings on the varying results of thus far but it's pretty common practice for certain types of VNs and they mostly seemed acceptable in that sense. I'm sure the approach with sprites saves render time but as it's already not render heavy I wonder how necessary they are as usually they don't look as good as full renders. The highlights for the visuals are likely the interface itself being slick and minimalistic as well as the card game which looks fantastic. Sound/Music: I first need to applaud the implementation of a "Test" button in options next to the sound volume slider - wish this were in all games. The sounds design is good so far and the music is even better with both being used appropriately to set the mood in different scenes. I played the card matches over and over again for hours and never got tired of the sounds or music. Characters: The majority of the characters I found to be either uninteresting or unlikable (mostly in how they're written but also I also found most visually unappealing/boring as well). The superheros have very derivative boring powers, boring problems so far, and their personalities are barely existent yet. Their action scenes are particularly awkward and in general they come across as way more incompetent than they should be. The only real exception for me was Sybil (the doctor/scientist) who I felt brought a tiny bit of much needed levity to a story that is generally trying too hard to take itself too seriously. She felt much more naturally written compared to the others. The jury is still out on Blink so I hope her chapters are better than the other characters. Anna, Seraphim, Phoebe, and Michael I already dislike and Vanguard was comparably fine but uninteresting. The story has a bad habit of telling us pretty much flat out how a character is supposed to be perceived. This drives me nuts. If Anna, for example, is an intimidatingly sexy and powerful woman then that should come across in the visuals, the way she acts and speaks, and subtly in the way others in the story regard her - basically it should come across both visually and in the way she's written but never in exposition or just having another character say that's what she is. Give the readers some credit. Story/Writing: Though I like the idea of progressing via chapters with different stories and povs, reading through the writing in the story chapters I found largely to be a dry, boring, repetitive, tedious slog that at times felt overly self-indulgent bordering on pretentious. A lot feels unnecessarily over-explained. It beats you over the head with certain elements relentlessly - particularly the things it really wants you to remember as important for a later reveal. Some of these things that come up time and time again need to be awkwardly talked around in an unnatural ambiguous manner since the characters know about them but the the author wants to keep mentioning them without giving away what's being saved for the reader to find out later. It all gets very annoying and once again really doesn't respect the intelligence of the reader to remember something they're not constantly reminded of. Nothing in the story as of yet has felt particularly inspired or well executed. The superhero action scenes are a bit of a nightmare. Not only do they look awkward visually but the way they're written make you question the competence of all the characters involved which is certainly not the intention. This is the sort of story that only works if the characters (and potentially the readers) are just the right amount of stupid when needed. You really need to just not question the events in the story for it to work at all. Think there was potentially a better solution than burning down a building to save a person in it? Don't worry, you'll be told ad-nauseam that was definitely the only option. Questioning how they could have possibly thought it was a good idea when they had a guy with that can control the mental state of others go on live television when you see the implications coming a mile away and then not put him down right away when he was clearly in a bad mental state himself? Too bad, everyone involved was apparently a moron, so it happens like it does because the author couldn't think of a better way to set up the rough state of the city and negative sentiments towards those with superpowers. These kind of annoyances are plentiful (this is only a couple and I can think of at least handful off the top of my head weeks after playing) and I'm not sure which parts I preferred less - the ones where I was annoyed or the ones where I was just completely bored. I don't mean to be harsh, I just find selectively dumbing characters down as a solution for reaching where you want to get to in a story to be very frustrating. Anyway, a good ways through 1.0.0 what's been a tonally pretty serious story thus far suddenly takes a hard left turn into porn game land when Michael's new boss Anna tells him not only will he be taking pictures of the superheros but she wants him to seduce them and sleep with them as apparently she thinks their personal issues will be solved if they get laid (I think it's more likely to be a process of gradually getting to know and helping them more than them just getting laid, but this is the way it's presented in the scene from what I recall). She also notes she'll sometimes be watching his sessions via camera and if he does a good job with the superheros he may get a chance with Sybil and ultimately herself. After that tonally very strange detour it's pretty much back to business as usual and the introduction of the photoshoots/card game. The whole thing seemed very out of place (like it was purposely squeezed into the first release to capture the attention of the type of player the game isn't even targeting) - she could have easily gradually eased Michael into the idea of pushing boundaries with the girls to increase their confidence and manipulated him into doing what she wants him to with them instead of blurting out a crude summary of what's essentially of a meta aspect of the gameplay in a few lines of very tonally detached dialogue. Maybe an editor could help to sanity check some of the logic how the scenes are written and cut down on some of the unnecessary details and repetition that drag out the experience at least? I really hope this portion of the game gets better as it progresses. The Collectable Card game: The CCG feels like the most polished and well thought out part of the game thus far. It's a shame that you don't get to it sooner. Once I got to the card game itself I became utterly addicted to it for the next day or two. I had a lot of fun working my way up the difficulties as I gathered more cards (you get packs of cards by winning matches) and put together different types of decks though I stopped playing before I got to the point where I felt confident enough to take on the highest difficulties (the second highest doesn't really have rewards worth playing for after playing the previous difficulty level enough and the highest seemed like a big spike in difficulty that I didn't even attempt - though I'm sure there are ways to build decks that can survive it and it will be even more doable if returned to once more cards are added). I have mixed feelings about how the card pack rewards work and how many points you get when you draw ones you're maxed on vs. how much booster packs cost - I just don't know how well it will scale as the variety grows... over time I imagine it could get irritating to be chasing a card or two for a certain deck you want to try to run and having to grind out a ton of games to find those key cards (as it is it took a lot of matches to get certain cards, even common ones, that I was trying to find). This card game will take a lot of tweaking and re-balancing as it and the matches expand so I hope it ends up as good as it started. Anyway, it was a nice surprise as I was expecting the card game to be the weak point. It's also nice that people can skip the card games entirely or choose how much they want to interact with them if they do play via the different difficulties - right now all matches are pretty easily beatable on the lowest difficulty with even just the starter deck. Taking on the higher level difficulties requires you to build/customize the deck and earns you potentially better cards as rewards. Each player/match has a bit different style and things to contend with that need to be account for when building a deck to play against them which adds to the fun. I recommend people check out this game if they've ever enjoyed any CCGs or card games in general. It's a very easy one to learn but has a decent amount of depth if you choose to explore it. This may end up being the first AVN that I'd play just for the included mini-game. Misc/Playability : There's no saving outside of automatic progression saving which rarely happens in 1.0.0 but has been fixed in newer versions to save after ever chapter at least. I'm generally not a fan of having no manual save options in games but so far here it seems fine for the purposes of this game. Rollback is also fully disabled so if you click past a line accidentally you'll need to check the log to see what you missed or replay the chapter (if there's in-game Dialogue History functionality then I missed it) . I understand needing to lock down rollback for the card games but it would be nice to have turned on for the purely story sections if possible. Otherwise, options are generally pretty good to start with. The only other thing I could think of is maybe making the different phases of play more visually distinct during the card game as I kept forgetting it was still the challenge phase and I hadn't moved on to the action phase yet despite it saying the phase on the screen.

Interesting game. More a 3.5 but i rounded up since there is actual gameplay here. You have a somewhat unique superhero urban setting. After a sectioned character and plot introductions you can play the card game against 2 of the fem. characters. The card game has a 10 turn ramp up structure. You have to make the decision between setting cards in limited spots and upgrading them for ramping resources or using the same cards to negate the negative modifiers the "opponent" puts down. Its neat but if you dont get your set-up going by turn 4 there is no come back. The girls look good and its intriguing. Its not really a porn game but a game with (a little) porn. It says 1.0 but this is more 1.0 of the proof of concept. I downloaded for the red haired nurse but she has no content as of now edit: Oh yeah, one thing that i think could be improved on is the writing structure. Head voice + exposition should not be more than 15-20% of the overall writing. It is way more than that here. Feels less engaging to read "about" stuff than to see, or characters to refer to stuff in dialogue.
[Enslave_The_Waifu] 2024-09-26
+Version - 1.0.0 I like card games and I am bias. So, I give this 5 stars because the developers actually put some effort into the card game itself. Feedback for the gameplay, I feel like 10 turns are way too short for each match. Maybe 12~15 turns depending on the difficulty would make the game a little more enjoyable. Other than that, VN and the story is ok.

You know what this is? It's a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It's like a mix of AVN, a collectible card game and a tv show script. And like a peanut butter sandwich, it depends on how well these parts are put together. If you're not allergic to any of those elements, then here's my impression of them: CARD GAME (10/10) The card game minigame is good and hasn't bugged out on me yet. It's got several difficult levels and plays like a digital collectible card game. It's optional and becomes skippable if you fail enough times. STORY (8/10) If you're one of those people that 'play for the story', well there's an actual story here. None of this landlady nonsense. It's very well written, and reads more like an actual novel or tv show script. I say that because so far, there have been zero choices and I do not think the dev intends to implement many. Expect a kinetic AVN and very little choice in the direction of the story. However, it's told in a non-linear fashion, where players choose a character and see the story from their point of view. But don't expect this to affect the story. The story takes place in New York and there's real fly by footage of the city that's been included to add to the feel of the story. The music really adds to the feel as well. However, I'm not really into any of the characters. There's not much established about them yet and it's still very early in the story. They could all be killed off in the next episode and I wouldn't care. Overall, it feels more like one of those superhero tv shows from a small streaming service. VISUALS AND UI (7/10) The menu and other interfaces look nice and work well. The renders are ok. The lighting used is sometimes way too bright in the renders, like the janitor replaced all the lightbulbs with 100000w super LED bulbs. There's also very noticeable noise in the renders as well. The developer also presents most of it like a Japanese VN, where the renders are just characters standing like a floating sprite in front of a background. It feels like there are less renders than the usual AVN. WHAT ABOUT THE LEWDS?... WHERE'S THE A in AVN? (2/10) Nothing worth writing home about on this. And don't go in hoping for a dating sim or romance either, given the lack of choices in game. Currently, there's just one showing one of the ladies masturbating. The animation quality was ok. The lighting was more subdued and natural looking. But there was no money shot, no actual footage of the kitty being pet. Instead, a tasteful angle was used, like this was a tv show produced in LA and the actress had a 'no vulva' clause in her contract. Given the story's focus, I'm not keeping my hopes up for this area to ever improve. The developer describes the game as a intricately crafted erotic thriller. So far, I'm just not into any of the characters. You may find that disappointing, but ask yourself this: would you event want to jerk off using a peanut butter jelly sandwich? tl;dr Play for the card game, avoid if you just wanna fap. 5 stars because of card game.

(v1.0.0) Excellent first release. A few rough spots, but the card game mechanics are solid, the writing is good (other than a couple odd word choices that stood out to me), and it's a decent amount of content for a first release. Definitely worth playing, and with the dev's pedigree I'm pretty confident this will get even better with updates.
