I just realized I owe this game a review, so right out of the gate, let me put your worries at ease, the only reason this game isn't a clean full 5 stars is because the graphics are dated. The girls are likeable, the story is interesting, the coding is stable. If you're ever in a mood for a longer story that can immerse you, this is definately a great one. Conversations are lifelike, and the characters are fleshed out enough.

Version Reviewed: 30a Overall Rating: 9.5/10 A true hidden gem and one of the best on this site. It’s much greater than the sum of its parts. It does a lot of unique things in terms of story and characters which most other VNs will not dare to do. The sheer amount of content is also impressive; this is probably the longest AVN I’ve played, taking me around 30 hours to reach the end of Act 3. Detailed Review Story: 10/10 Story is unique and engaging. The worldbuilding is excellent and becomes deeper as the narrative progresses. The central curse is integrated well into the setting and helps explain both the culture of the world and how the MC ends up with such a large harem. Writing: 9/10 The writing is engaging and largely free of grammatical errors. Dialogue flows well and keeps the story interesting. The pacing is a bit slow though, the plot seems to have barely reached the middle act so far. Also, because there is essentially no time skip between events, I have no idea how the dev is going to handle the various pregnancies (which are important for the plot) and which further makes me think that the story is nowhere near the endgame. Characters: 9/10 Considering the overall rendering and animation quality, many of the characters are still quite attractive and most designs feel distinct. With such a large cast, there’s enough variety that everyone should be able to find characters that match their preferences. Side characters: Most side characters function like NPCs and don’t have much personality beyond their role in scenes. However, the VN does something refreshingly uncommon: it dares to have other male characters with their own exclusive women. Major characters: Some of the major characters who have actual personalities are well written. Also finding an actually well written father figure who is respected was a welcome surprise. MC: The MC also has his own personality and even some flaws. He is still OP and gets out of dangerous situations with barely a scratch. Adding some lasting repercussions to his risky decisions could make him feel even more believable. Renders and Animations: 5/10 Visuals are clearly not the main focus of this VN. The renders and animations mainly exist to support the story rather than impress visually. Normally, I wouldn’t pick up a VN with visuals at this level, but I’m glad I gave this one a chance because the rest of the experience more than makes up for it. H-Scenes: 8/10 Considering the overall visual quality, the scenes are surprisingly well done. The developer clearly prioritizes quantity over quality, which makes sense given the large number of characters. Even so, most scenes are still decent. Choices & Playability: 8/10 This is essentially a kinetic novel. There are almost no real choices, and even the handful that appear mainly affect small bits of flavor text rather than the story itself. You also don’t choose which girls to pursue. On the upside, there are no grindy or sandbox mechanics, making it a purely story focused experience.

I’m usually not a fan of Japanese-style VNs because I don’t really find the renders appealing to my eyes, the LIs usually all look the same and the MC is almost always a dude with an Asian face and raven-black hairs, so I can’t identify to him. And this VN is no exception… Except that the story and the characters are f**king great! I started it from scratch and it took me 4 days to finish it, I could not play anything else, I was incredibly absorbed by the whole thing. True, the MC is not really nice-looking and hard to identify with, but he has his head on his shoulders and never let anyone belittle him. True, his harem is BIG, but he treats his ladies well, like a true gentleman. And the real force of The Fiery Scion is that it can bring tears to your eyes, from joy, sadness, or even cuteness, the children having a strong presence and a strong influence. Anyway, it’s a well deserved 5/5 for me even though the renders are not to my taste. Can’t wait for Part 4!

Absolute gem Crazy I discovered it only now. Mad respect for the dedication to work on a single project for so long, especially nowdays among slop 3 mins long games and perpetual tech demos. Glad to see people also recognize that story is great

The story is good, i finish part 1 in 2 days, at first it was a bit skeptical with the graphics, since i familiar with game made with honey select 3 or similar others, so to sum it up, the animation tho, not so good, but for me, story is the most important thing, and i kind ò enjoying it, so ye, 4/5 rcm should play. 28/02/2026 (im asian)

Nothing about this is amazing, but it manages to be charmingly clunky. It's enjoyable despite looking outdated and messy (perhaps even a bit ugly), lacking any real interactivity or gameplay, and being overly stuffed with thrown-in and barely characterised harem girls (who often distract from the main LIs and clutter everything up). Even when it's being serious, you can't take it fully seriously. It's just simple, goofy fun. I look forward to each update.

Honestly one of the best VN's I've played. Story is entertaining and easy to follow. Love interests are attractive and actually have a personality unlike a lot of harem VN's. Plus the MC isn't a pussy and is relatable.

tldr came for the fap, stayed for the story and the fap -The story is very good, its worth it to play for that alone, i come back over and over for the story now. -Update schedule and size is very good, every time i comeback every few months there's always at least 3k+ renders to come back to and a few "chapters" to read and fap through -actual game file size is fine, its a big 3d renpy game, its gonna take space, but with the amount of renders i could easily see the file size being way bigger then it actually is. -The only thing i can criticize is the graphics, it screams generic renpy 3d game, its not horrible, but could be way better

Interesting game! I have been a supporter for ages and never realized I hadn't left a review. I really like the world-building and the d&d-like feels the game gives. I do think the MC's harem is expanding a bit too much, but I really love the primary love interests. The MC himself is a good guy but an easily-angered one (for good reasons), which can be appreciated.

You know, as far as 'visual novels' go, this one is not so great. The choices are exceedingly rare, and change almost nothing about the story. For some examples of what I mean: - You don't get to choose who the MC hooks up with, you just get to choose whether or not he decides he 'loves' them. Only difference is a few lines of dialogue. - Several times there is the choice to kill or not kill an enemy. In one case, a female bandit can be spared - so I did, as this is a porn game. 20 minutes later, the MC and his companions pass that same bandit's corpse, hung from the castle walls. So..... the difference was, kill her now or wait for someone else to kill her a few minutes later? Wow!! Such interactivity! This is why it's essentially a kinetic novel. And yet... a 5 star rating. It's not a good visual novel, but it's a great story. A good story is a good story, and this one has world building, character development, good pacing, adventure. It's a lot of fun. It takes a cool, interesting concept - a world cursed by demons where male children are almost never born - and sticks to it. Culture, custom, and dialogue all match this facet. You can tell the author put in a lot of thought into what a curse like that would do to a fantasy world. I think it's best to think of this as an 'adult fantasy novel', rather than outright porn. It's hard to imagine fapping to this (it'd feel like getting off while reading Lord of the Rings lol), but it's well worth your time. Kudos to the author. Looking forward to the story's completion!

I like fantasy so I enjoyed the story, the graphics could be better, the animations are good, the characters are also interesting. The only big thing for me that I find unappealing is the pattern of every LI almost instantly falling for the MC.

I think I downloaded and never got around to this game several times. I always thought it was well rated, but the graphics did not speak to me so I put it on the back burner. Boy was I wrong to do that. This game has one of the best stories I have seen and I love it. I am usually not for never ending harem games, although given the story it actually makes sense. The main NPCs are absolutely amazing and I love getting to know them throughout the game, some of the side npcs i can give or take, but they usually do not take much time away from the game and are usually just to warm the bed so to speak. The MC is actually a strong person and not some weak kneed mommas boy who has this whole woes me mentality, yet is supposed to be strong. I think the only time I ever thought he was a bit ehh was the whole princess Sarah thing, although it seems to hint their might be an avenue to get her dream in the future. This is a top tier game and definitely in my top 10.

I will first tell what I dislike from this game but first my review comes from just only playing part 1 and yet still not finish But I will try to update. there is no roundabout but the MC is ugly, I could be had a silver spoon in f95zone great collection of games but at least the LI is good looking. Its feels like Isekai story with the MC is very OP and too kind in the story of this game. Despite all of that I still hooked in the story and worldbuilding. This point really outshine my bad taste for this game and I always love the storie and drama everytime our MC and his party goes adventure and meet new people Edit: Okay I take it back. I'm in the middle of the third part but I starting to like henri so much. I'm glad he change his hairstyle in the end of first part and the codex really help. The harem got bigger, the sex scene is... Okay and henri personality and his harem dynamic is really great. And I love that Every harem has nice story from the girl part and henri is rational enough to not make a harem of everyone. This is one of best AVN I played especially for fantasy genre. Alright !!! , amazing story, and from what i have gathered, quite a lot of content too, and damn the women are gorgeous reminds me of struggle with sin style only but a renpy version, and the story is well paces, i'm hooked to it, and i especially like that the MC have a proper family and many wives hopefully more, even though it's hard for the MC to focus on the ones that are already with him , liked the fight scenes as well, and the MC ain't no bitch either and that's rare nowadays, good luck to dev hope to see more of it, and i hope we finally see another baby of MC being born, no doubt maria is cute but she can do with a sibling or two or maybe 20?, or 200 perhaps?

I finally decided to give this VN a try after passing it over many times due to the lower end renders, and I am glad I did give it a try. I might be a bit biased by having played DnD for 35 years, but I really enjoy the story and the world building/lore in particular. I like that the lore is it's own, and not just a copy/paste of real world history. I also like that the MC is not perfect, he has flaws, and he knows it and tries to be better. I love the banter between the MC and his adventuring party, especially Erika. The harem is a bit on the large side, but once again makes complete sense for the world lore. Overall this a great VN and I look forward to seeing where the story goes.

For something that feels and looks so dated, it had my attention the entire way through. There's plenty of content. Im a huge fan of all the world building thats been done, though claiming every woman as yours with jewelry gets a bit old, and every sex scene is pretty much the same more or less, that didnt impact my desire to keep playing at all. Infact, this quickly jumped to the top of my "eagerly awaiting" list. You play as a not so great looking Mc, but you're likable. Oddly enough, I liked having a child in a game too, MC is protective over his family and his daughter the most. Every scene with her is juat very heartwarming! Most of the women you'll see in your harem are attractive though i wasnt fond of just a few. Truly one of those games you stay for the plot!

Really wish I could do straight down the middle. Rounded down bc this game already gets a lot of (deserved) love Some of the scenarios this game presents early on are so titillating,it was on track to be one of my fav VNs (or KNs, as the case may be). Dev is clearly devoted to fleshing out a world with it's own rules, both in regard to culture and magic, and that's truly admirable and part of what makes the hot parts so hot (lots of socially acceptable nudity and sex in front of family members) but as the story drags on it gets way too lost in the weeds. You aren't presented much choice, which I accepted early on, but at certain points in the story it feels like the MC is deliberately cock-blocking the player (refusing to marry matriliterally for example, which I guess he cares about in universe, but IDGAF, and it kinda doesn't mesh with his whole psuedofeminist thing he has going), and it's insufferable.He's also so self-serious about raising all his children and giving his women rings etc etc etc, it's fine at first as a character trait but it really drags on the 20th time he goes on a rant about it to the 20th maid. A lot of this games problems can be chocked up to using Honey Select, which is fine, I respect the dev saving time and wanting to world build but I don't think a 5/5 game will ever be made with honey select. But the main thing that irks me about this game is: The dev LOVES showing you big titted MILFs, and making you wait a million years to fuck them. And I specify milf, because there's a relative shortage (in porno-world) of incredibly fat titted women in the harem, bc it seems in the universe of TFS tits just never stop growing with age.If you meet a character with small tits, best believe the MC will give them a lecture about how he's the most moral man alive and have them pregnant in like 2 days. That's a nitpick, but it's maybe what irks me most.

The main plot actually really good and decent, the idea of world building, having your own town, harem etc was really a nice idea, unfortunately this is the only good aspect from this game in my opinion. Here are the cons as for why i gave this game a 2 star ratings - First, the harem is just too big and most of them are so ugly and not really necessary for the plot like the dwarf and the single mother guard for example. - Second, the game keep adding more and more girls like the guard, the dwarf and some newest maid etc and quickly became part of your harem instead of focusing with early girl like Kes for example, for god sake it was so annoying when some unknown guard became part of your harem a few moment after her first introduction, fucking a maid and makes her part of your harem again few moment after her first introduction. - Third, choice of model, imagine ignoring a better model like Kes, Helen and that priestess when you fight the necromancer for some ugly maid, dwarf or guard. and if not for the story i wont even bother to play this game when this game literally have the most ugly HS MC probably, most of the LI also are ugly and sorry i dont even turn on with ALL the sex scenes. - Fourth, too many fillers unrelated with the plot, tbh since i'm only starting this game a couple of days ago i dont really mind it that much because i was playing from chapter one to the latest but it will become an issue later as the game doesnt really moving much with the main plot, and since this game strong point is the story that wont do good for me as i want the game to moving forward and not being held back by filler on top of the already lengthy of development. - Fifth, mediocre sex scene and animation, and i skipped most of the sex scenes as its really boring and not even turn me on. Conclusion, despite the story deserved a 4 stars i just cannot give this game more than 2 stars because of all the flaws, such a shame tho because i really liked the story.
