About The Mansion of Whispering Desires

The Mansion of Whispering Desires is a Ren'Py visual novel adventure by mibc9394, rendered with 2D AI CG art. You play as Akira, a man whose life collapses after his girlfriend dies in a car crash. He later travels with his professor Akane to the legendary Kagetsu Mansion, connected to the Amayorome Myth of an imprisoned god and a cursed land. In dreams, he enters a living version of the estate, meets hostess Sayuri, servant Mizuki, and daughter Momiji, and reunites with Yuki. The sanctuary conceals a corrupting evil, and player choices lead to different outcomes amid horror and paranormal themes.

The current build is v0.3, released February 26, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android, in English, with no censorship. The v0.3 update adds a lesbian NTR bathing scene involving Yuki and Momiji as a story branch for the first night ritual.

Developer's description

Akira’s world shattered at the moment he saw his girlfriend's body lying on the pavement after a horrific car crash. Weeks later, he joins his professor, Akane, on a trip to investigate the legendary Kagetsu Mansion—a site tied to the Amayorome Myth of a god imprisoned and a land condemned. Upon reaching the mansion, Akira discovers it is more than a ruin. In his sleep, he is transported to a version of the estate that is still thriving. There, he meets the mysterious hostess Sayuri, her servant Mizuki, and her daughter Momiji—and is reunited with Yuki. However, Akira soon learns this sanctuary hides an evil corrupting his mind. As the line between his waking life and his desires thin, he must decide if he is willing to sacrifice everything to bring back his lost love.

v0.3 Added a lesbian NTR bathing scene of Yuki and Momiji. This is a story branch of the first night ritual. v0.2 This version has 222 CGs and 25k words in total. Progressing the story to the third dream of Akira. More exploration of the mansion. A new sex scene. A new draggable textbox. You can continue from where the previous version ends as long as you have the save. v0.1 This is the initial release of The Mansion of Whispering Desires. The content lengths about 19k words and contains over 140 CGs. Players can make choices in the game which would lead to different consequences. It should worth around 1 hour of playtime. This v0.1 is around 15-20% of Akira Arc. All characters will have their special scenes in each arc. So you don't need to wait for the later arcs to be released if you prefer certain characters only.

Such a mysterious, evocative, sensual, and melancholy story. So glad I took a chance and downloaded this beautiful and allegorical tale. The Mansion of Whispering Desires brings back bittersweet memories of when I lived in Japan earlier in my life.
