The Theater of Sinners

This is an amazing game. It is pretty unique in how it portrays the psychology of submission. I've been reading about that but this is the first game that I've played about the theme. The graphics are great and I like that the main characters are linked to each other. The clear downside of the game is that it's abandoned. I considered subtracting one star because of the abandoned status, as is my usual policy, but decided to keep the five stars. I believe that this game got far enough. Upcoming content would be mostly repetitive of the already available scenes.

By far one of the best game of it's genre ! Graphics are pretty nice, although what makes this game a most play is the narrative and the story telling I'll say. Really enjoyed it. Just a shame it's been abandoned, wish there'll be more...

Very good atmosphere (the previous game was also good). the models are good!! It's changing and it's good. a dark atmosphere and there is none of the cringe side of many others which often repeat the same story endlessly. The story is good and I'm waiting to see, if the project ends and I hope, the whole picture and the arrival of certain characters that we are presented with "Too quickly".

Not a game that is going to be everyones cup of tea. Found the characters and game dull, too far out of believability, and too lesbian centered. There is very little character development outside of random flashbacks Also was not a fan that it switches from VN to scene selection, at which point I deleted the game after a few of them - not a chronological story

The author of this game did not create the story by randomly or purely through imagination, but rather it seems that they used direct experience to create the narrative. This is evident in the fact that many aspects of the game are incredibly realistic, which made it easy for me to see myself in the story as I played. In fact, even the facial reactions of the female characters were very strained, which added to the overall sense of realism. I have played a few adult visual novels that were similarly messed up, and even before I started playing this particular game, I knew that it would be a different kind of experience for me. For those who have not yet played the game, All i can tell is it is very heavy and dark. The story of the game is really depressive but also impressive either, characters are realistic af I definitely recommend it.

Best dark game on the site. Also best writing of all the porn games I saw. The other game from the same dev is also awesome. If you like the tags here you should absolutely try both of them. And please leave a review here and support the dev how you can, this gem is very underrated

There are three girls in this game, all with their unique experiences and personalities. I really like the storytelling of the characters, how well it is written and explained why they are who they are. The kinky scenes are really outstanding and tell a nice story of how the girls get corrupted. I like that there are a ton of lesbian and b/g scenes. There's nothing negative I can say, except that I experienced many image errors that say that images aren't assigned to characters. The auto function is something that should be in this game. Renders that are in dark enviroments are sometimes way too dark. All in all this is a great game and a must-play for people who enjoy kinky stories and corruption games. I wish the Dev the best of luck in the development of his game, and will keep following the games process.

A truly one-of-a-kind and outstanding game. I'm going to try to keep this review short and sweet. (I failed but I could've gone much longer form with this review. There's so much good about Theatre of Sinners.) 1. Writing. This game has hands down the best writing of any erotic game I've ever played. Full stop. A+ writing. While playing this game, I kept thinking that this game has better writing than a lot of TV series. The narrative hits you with a lot of surprises and it's far from predictable. I tend to skip through the stories of a lot of adult games (because a lot of adult games have stories that are filler between the "good stuff") but this story hooked me and never let go. It's just that good. 2. Character The characters are absolutely incredible. Paula is such a likable character and Rebecca is a truly frightening sociopath. She's like a cult leader mixed with a professional charlatan mixed with a suave dom. They're both incredibly fascinating characters. Agnes isn't quite as compelling of a character as Paula/Rebecca but she's still very good. Rebecca really stands out as one of the most interesting characters I've read in awhile, not even just including adult games. Without any sound, this dev managed to portray Rebecca as being someone with an insane amount of charisma and gravitas while still being a total manipulative psycho. I also love that Rebecca's appearance is almost a total juxtaposition to her personality. She looks like a cute, petite girl but she's actually really fucking scary. 3. Porn The porn aspects are definitely really kinky and delve into exhibitionism, corruption, humiliation, and dubious consent. The content definitely crosses the line of vanilla but if you resonate with those kinks I think you will find this game extremely hot. The renders are very good, the character models are hot, and there's so much emotion conveyed in the character's faces. The dev is really good at doing guilty/ashamed/horny expressions. The dev is also very good at setting up erotic scenarios. I do have a tiny piece of constructive feedback. When the narrative shifts to the 'event' sections where you click the character and then the box that represents the event, it's a little too easy to accidentally experience things out of order. I had a few events that didn't really make sense because I somehow triggered them out of order. That's really my only feedback. So, yeah, if your kinks line up with this game, I highly recommend playing as it's a fantastic experience and really fires on all cylinders as both a porn game and an interesting narrative. If you're not into the kinks, I worry the game's realistic character writing combined with the hardships endured by Paula might make you sad. Regardless, I have to recommend this game. I only write reviews when a game really blows me away and that's absolutely the case here. I played last night and I am still thinking about it today. Bravo Dev!

Good fets and a decent story, art/renders aren't 5 of 5 great but they're good. The replayability isn't really there, to make it worth grinding to see all the outcomes, and it lacks as far as I can tell some features like gallery or in game guidance about what direction choices go which while not central to a game do make one more enjoyable to play. It's still a solid 3 of 5 though in that if you like the genre and fets, it's not the top tier, but there's more to like than dislike and you should give it a try.

I would describe Theater of Sinners as a well-thought-out drama of the abusive kind. People with an abusive upbringing do abusive stuff, sometimes because they learned to enjoy it and sometimes because they don't know better. This leaves lots of room to be aroused, to embrace perversion and kinkiness to questionable moral levels. But honestly, there are many AVNs out there which are abusive. Some of them utilize it for selling purposes, some do it as a fan-service or to channel their inner perversion. Theater of Sinners doesn't feel like that, it has more quality than is typical for this kind of plot. The main antagonist Beca is very relatable, if you want, her evil nature is excessive, but you may as well choose a lighter path that (in my opinion) fits her better. Beca is the star of this show. She is written very well; she acts evil but she is also a mastermind and strangely empathic... or sociopathic? Hard to tell at times. Too smart for her own good in any case, and unaware of her own tragedy. Most main characters are written well, choices feel meaningful and although kinky they help to immerse and choose your own level and direction of perversion. All main characters live unfulfilling lives, are disregarded, ridiculed, or simply struggling with their past. The kink characters however - those are characters without a story arc, they solely exist to lead main characters astray - feel less lively, they are no better than in any other AVN of the mediocre kind. But for me those are background noise. I was glad that I could avoid them for the most part as they certainly emphasize how grim this world is, but they are way too superficial and tropey to be a convincing plot device. If you enjoy kinky and abusive plots but also want some depth and tragedy to go along with it, Theater of Sinners is certainly a good choice. I didn't play to the end of the current build, but I've been impressed by what I have seen so far. I'm a bit sad that there is no patreon to show some support.

Incredibly impressive game with a unique way of progressing the story. Beautiful models and excellent use of facial expressions to convey emotion. Loved the corruption/submission aspects of the game, and how they allow things to develop along certain lines and open new events without forcing the player to follow a particular series of events. The writing is solid, especially as the dev isn't a native English speaker. There are some odd word choices here and there, some grammatical structuring that isn't quite right, but altogether it's not bad at all. I recommend this title, especially if you enjoy girls who look innocent but really aren't.

It's a good story, good renders, interesting approach for moving the story along. All said, a fairly high quality production. However, there are a few issues I had such as being able to select one story direction when it's clearly reliant on the other story direction to understand part of it. So it can make the story itself become a bit disjointed. For content, there are some pretty hot scenes, some m/f but most of it, as of now, is focused on f/f. Just doesn't really work for me personally. Doesn't make the story bad, just not something I can relate to so it was hard for me personally to get into the story as a whole.

One of the best SM games i have played. The story is short, to the point and the scenes are extremely hot. You have the possibility to control some of the outcome of the scenes, which work out nicely. The gameplay is mostly intuitive and fun, and cool that you cannot do anything wrong (needing to start over), but just free to explore.

A really good story so far, actually gets me pretty invested. I've only played about 45 minutes or so, but I've appreciated it so far, especially in the differences of the two main characters, they really do serve as good opposites. So far, I'm probably liking Becca more, but eager for content for both girls and their encounters with others.

The detail in renders and subtle facial changes are bangon. Unfortunately the game is short for its large size, but enjoyable nevertheless, The only flaw is it needs a part 3 extended, More Mr Smith, Train guy and Richard.

Great game! It is still quite an early version but there is quite a a lot of content already. The art and story is great and the sub/dom content is done really well. Would recommend giving it a try if you like the tags.
