The Velan Reach: Book One

Actual image of dev cooking this piece.. ...i'm known for my extravagant reviews but I'll spare you cuz nothing I say will encompass the work done in this piece....in first fucking chapter. Banger scene setting, girls are oddly alluring (if you are not aware of dev's other games it might seem jarring but they are oddly sexy and human-like.) What this game does amazingly is renders, the 3d-esque movements of spirites or renders unsure? But it feel so real, like each scene is alive instead of being just screenshots. things are flashing, eyes are blinking, boobs are jiggling........all the while music is perfectly placed with writing that is Victorian English mixed with scifi. Verdict : For now, one H-scene. If you want more lewds wait. If you want to see an amazing scene with great writing, it's definitely worth the look. Currently ch1 is 1hr or so depending on your speed. Good luck dev!

Wow what a game. Amazing characters, story and the world. I love steam punk and not only we get adult novel we also get a good story. My fav is Synthia - love the name play - Synth Oh I do hope we get anal scene with Synthia's character. Its an important development. Nice to have character diversity - copy/paste daz clones are exhausting.

A very good VN so far. I can't say I love the art but it is unique, interesting and effective. The real strength of this VN is the depth of the entire thing. The background, the characters, the story, the writing. I can't wait for it to come out on Steam so I can buy it and help fund it's continued development.

Another NR masterpiece in the making, now with Jiggle Technology™ My expectations were high after Light of my Life, and so far, The Velan Reach has exceeded them. The renders are as beautiful as ever, if not more so, but the setting is allowing NR to really flex their creative muscles. From the beautiful scenes, backdrops, and costumes to the elegant prose, and a story that hits the ground running, The Velan Reach is already shaping up to be a tour de force in AVN's.

I can't wait to see where this goes. First, I've always appreciated the unique art style that NR's renders have. I like that the characters actually are different and not just some spectrum of D-HH cups with hair color changes that so many games have. Second, I feel that NR makes some of the better written games out there. The dialogue of so many games are just so bad I click through to unlock scenes and uninstall. If I accidentally double click through a NR dialogue I'm using the back button. Lastly, and for this game in particular, the unique dialect and whole steampunk space travel theme is really unique, well done, and a refreshing take from all the slop on here.

I'm hooked already. The story is unique and interesting, the writing is fun to read, and the quality expected from Naughty Road is there. Only critique is that the main girl is uglier and doesn't have the charm the previous main girls had in Light of my Life. Blonde chick at the start is hot, and I'm excited to see what we have for the aunt and secretary.

The first chapter is a very good start to this new game. The art quality is very high, the game is very well made on a technical level, and the story is set up in a way that makes sense and leaves lots of room for cover and reasons for the characters to need to be closer to one another as it goes along. I liked it, and look forward to Ch 2.

Another release from him, but this one’s kinda rough so far. The character models honestly feel like a downgrade. They are just… unattractive. The designs don’t have the same charm or appeal as the last games cast. Before the characters had charm and personality the second they showed up on screen. Here they just dont have that pull. It’s hard to connect when i don’t even enjoy looking at them.

The unmistakable naughty road style. Soothing, charming and alluring all in one. It already feels like it builds on LOML and expands on what made that game special insteaf of a simple retread of sorts. I cannot wait to see where it goes and what other characters will be introduced for us all. Thanks naughtyroad!

Another Naughty Road work! Fantastic character models and cast so far, they're different and well-made. Far better than the typical models ones that we see time and time again at the very least. The CGs and scenes are nicely designed and of high quality. The setting and plot is unique and piques interest, not something cliche but a new direction that makes for an engaging story. The UI and relationship page is convenient and thorough. Everything seems top-quality! Can't wait to see more!

Downloaded demo and bought the full game and it is 100% worth it. Original, nice story, fantastic art, creative in all forms. Hope my support helps with the tech building process of the game in order to reduce build times and the work load on the dev, just tech support, not for the creative side, for that the dev can take the time needed and im not going to mess into that. The atmosphere around it reminded me of the "tonight, tonight" video from Smashing Pumkings, really cool. I like that there is no AI involved, it kills the creative and artistic side, just like auto tune did with music, that is why you do not see or hear good music and movies these days. The "only" thing that for me has room for improvement are the animations, if the dev can manage to do them more fluent and not look like a slide show this game would not be 5 stars it would be on a new category called diamond, but i do not know if this is the way that it is intened. cheers 0/

I really like LOML was a great avn, this is probably gonna be a banger writing wise, but honestly I'm probably going to read it for the experience rather than the adult. Granted, maybe some alien poon will change my mind because atleast it's fitting for them to look the way they do. I mean no flak at dev, they are free to do what they want to do, but for ME PERSONALLY here. I just dont think the characters are attractive. The first girl was alright, the assistant. Especially when she cleaned up. Rest of cast so far that we've been able to see in the demo almost look eerily similar. Similar eye structure, nose, sunken face kinda look not real big on it. Suffice to say its a breath of fresh air to not reuse the same slop models that majority of creators dont put an ounce of effort into making "unique" and just kinda run them "as is" but like said just not my cup of tea with the design. You dont get a large bite out of understanding what going on, just that you're "going on a journey" so to speak, with another character. They dont dive too deep into what it is, or what exactly will be going on, theres a huge cliffhanger at the end of the demo which could be a million things. You'd have to buy the full version (Support the dev!) to find out whats going on. Other than characters+Story, animations were just slideshows, we didnt get any real peeks into that, world/art/renders etc is all wonderful, alot of new cool stuff I havent seen before used in other AVNs. Seems like its got a whole cyberpunk theme with airships and space travel. All in all looks good, goodluck to naughtyroad.
