About Underboss Life

Underboss Life is a Ren'Py visual novel by ERANFER with 3DCG art. You play as a male protagonist, a concealed son of a powerful Mafia boss, who has been raised in darkness and trained in silence to inherit an empire he never asked for. The story places him in a prestigious college far from the violence that shaped him, while romance and past obligations remain close. Freedom feels temporary because the shadows and the lines drawn around him still follow.

The current build is v0.1, released October 10, 2025, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is in English, and is uncensored. This version adds around 1034 static images, 4 SFW still animations, 8 NSFW animations outside the story content, more than 16,000 words, 85 audio files mostly SFX, and about 15 to 30 minutes of content depending on the route. The update notes that the Shoot Head path is the shortest in this release.

In UNDERBOSS LIFE , you play as the hidden son of a powerful Mafia Boss. The hidden heir to an empire built on blood, betrayal, and whispered promises. Raised in dark, trained in silence, you were prepared to one day inherit an empire that you never asked for . Now, they finally give you a taste of freedom, enrolling you in a prestigious college, a world away from the violence that shaped you. But the shadows never truly let you go, and neither does the past. Freedom is a fleeting illusion, and every step you take is still within the lines they’ve drawn.
