v1.04 Public release TLC Chapter 4. Saves have been tested and they work. Considering the amount of content added to the first three chapters you may wish to consider a new play through. If you don't wish to wait you can buy the Patreon post with the links. I installed a new local backup system since the cloud backup is sometimes unavailable (local ISP issue). There will be no more new "features" added to the game at this stage. There will only be corrections and upgrades to existing features and new content. I decided not to go with the second gallery mentioned in early updates. I want to focus on content and improving render creation. Changes from 1.03a to 1.04: Added chapter 4. Added 1600 renders. Added Over 8000 lines of code. Added over 70 cutscenes and repeating animation clips to chapter 4. Most are in the lewd sections with some in the story. Added new Tome entries. Added 11 new portrait images. Added a new portrait Mini theme called Bottoms with 5 portraits. Made the portrait main page scrollable. Added a secrets section to the Tomes. Removed lewd sounds temporarily as I don't have licenses for them. I'll need to source new lewd sounds. Changed the Main menu images to a theme more in line with the game. Changed some of the color scheme to make buttons easier to read, especially the return button. Fixed some grammatical errors in the Tome. Fixed the formulas for the end of chapter summary. Some were getting the lower comments from the girls when it should have been the middle comments. Fixed various tome variables and restructured them in to an easier to follow system to cope with the increasing number of entries. Added a new dev presents opening vid. Previous chapters: Added over 80 repeating animation clips and cutscenes clips to chapters 1-3. Added a new disclaimer page. Made changes to every lewd scene in chapters 1-3, including some new dialogue in places. Added path variables for the Livvy and Reading paths based on choices made in earlier chapters. If you say yes to Livvy going to Ban Ardor, you will be on the Livvy path. If you said no, you will not be on the Livvy path. If you take Gwen to bed you will be on the Reading path which opens up scenes with Amara and several lewd chances with other women connected to Reading Keep and Gwen. Made a number of grammar fixes. Moved the potions Tome entry to Chapter One. Made various other tweaks to images and the text. This post will replace the dev post for this week. Chapter Five has been started. As always, I would greatly appreciate people wishlisting the game for me on Steam: Chapter 3 - v1.03a This is not a new story content update. The update includes: - New menus. - New Mainmenu backgrounds. - Adds path identifiers to the path start points with side girls like Livvy. - Adds the Keepingwood path. A path connected to Gwen, Amara and several side LIs. If you spend the night with Gwen you will already be on this path so there is no need to replay the game. - Removes the swirl and white flash screens from lewd scenes. - Added some entries in the Tome and a page in the portraits in preparation for Chapter Four. - Corrects the sayer bug from Chapter Two. - Faces of Lydia image 6 should be unlock correctly now. - Fixed the variable that caused Charlotte to repeat a line in Chapter Three. - Corrects the Charlotte loophole in Chapter Three. - Fixed 2 lines that had Livvy getting off at Ban Ardor when she was dropped off early. Those lines are now part of the livvy path Chapter 3 - v1.03 - A remodelled Tome of Insight. It's not where I want it, but it's getting there. - A remodelled Portrait Gallery. It's not where I want it either, but it's another step towards it. - End of Chapter summaries which covers the LI points and if any of the 32 secrets have been discovered. - 1200 new renders I didn't get to the lewd movie animations yet due to the amount of time I spent on the payment processor issue. I managed to get the issue before the minister at least. Hopefully, I can get to them this time around and get them into the lewds . Chapter 2 - v1.02 There are more changes to ch1, but they shouldn't effect ch1 post-patch saves. If you only have a pre-patch save then it probably won't work due to large of number changes made in the patch. Now I have a team of testers this shouldn't happen again. Chapter two wraps up a lot of the world building and brings the MC and the main LI characters together. I don't know when the next update will be at this stage. I had wanted to work on the Main Menu pages and work on improving lewd scenes. With the Itch situation in limbo for now, I will have to see what I need to do to meet any new requirements and how long that takes to resolve. I still haven't decided if I will break the chapters up for more regular releases or if I will stay with full chapter releases. Chapter 1 - v1.01 So far the patch will include: - Several continuity issues fixed. - Over 600 grammatical fixes. Mostly converting my terrible Australian to International English. - Some edits to improve the flow of a couple of scenes. - End screen fixed. Some incorrect renders like the end screen made it in to the final build these have been replaced and removed as needed. - Most of the transitions screens have been removed. - Text box opacity is now changeable. - Portraits in game have been removed to the gallery only. I like them, but it seems most don't. Some have been removed and additional images added. They will now be unlocked at different stages of the game and on different paths. Ch1 and Ch2 will include minis (mini stories) where the portrait series will tell a small story (without words) - Some variable changes - Over 150 renders replaced, and added - Changes to the GUI with a new main page and some font color changes. - A map gallery has been added since the Main menu has been replaced with an animation. - The lewd gallery is on hold for now. - This is hopefully a one-off going forward. There are a couple of variable changes that will impact the game going forward. Between the variables and the persistent unlocks, I recommend replaying the game for best results, unfortunately. amazing game, i'm one to love medieval/magic games, and there are many good ones out there(albiet very there updates are slow as hell), i wanted to try this when it came out but i always like to let the dev cook a bit before i give my reviews, and i'm glad the dev cooked, cause it's a dayum good story, and i'm exicted for it, the only tiny problem which i guess many have pointed out is AI animations, it takes me out of immersion(i quickly get back into it though ), BUT i understand dev's point to get the updates done faster & considering the length of the chapter especially 3&4 i guess it's just a minor hiccup i get past of, because for these type of games(medievel/magic/dragons, D&d types) story is what keeps it going lewds come second, so with that said kudos to dev, happy developing and may you be able to make more progress with the chapters coming in the future .

[Ch.4 v1.04] I already played this one half a year ago, but could only endure it for half an hour. This time however I forced myself to give it a full playthrough to form a cohesive opinion. Writing: ⠀⠀⠀The text in this novel is hard to read. There is no proper sentence structure, no grammar and no coherence. Writer is seemingly trying to imitate the old writing style for immersion purposes since this is a medieval fantasy, but fails spectacularly in my opinion. At least characters don't talk like 21st century millenials, so thank you for that. But even if it wasn't for those problems, the dialogue and story-telling is boring and distasteful. The story is interesting but is poorly told. ⠀⠀⠀The protagonist is too selfless and compassionate, like a caricature good guy. Which is not very appropriate for a person in power, and he is a prince, soon to be king. You can choose for him to sometimes be an asshole and even cruel, but I think it feels out of character for him. All women feel unnatural attraction towards protagonist. Now, it is explained by the lore, that there is some sort of divine force within him that draws female attention, but it diminishes the value of these relationships IMO. Some people have raised concern about netorare. There is none. Most love interests have sexual past but they share it to establish trust with the MC, not to cause jealousy. There is ofc Olivia and MC's ex, but they are not LIs, so it doesn't matter. Visuals: ⠀⠀⠀Facial expressions are either pure horror or pure comedy, nothing in between. Game can be considered ugly for many reasons like backgrounds, lighting, composition and so on, but faces are by far the biggest and the most off-putting among all of them. Erotic content: ⠀⠀⠀The animations are AI. The low-effort uncanny kind. Some may say it's better than nothing, but I would rather stick with still image format. It feels as though animations here interrupt a sex scene instead of contributing to it, this feeling is reinforced by sharp audio and text cut-off whenever animations are playing. Sex sfx like moans and whatever are extremely rare. Overall erotic scenes are poorly directed and are really awkward to look at. Conclusion: Idk, I kinda want to give this a 3, since the plot is interesting, but the writing and erotic content are subpar at best and those faces will likely haunt me in my nightmares, so maybe not.

Very engaging story, great setting, nice love interests and a lot of content in a short time. This game should be getting more attention to rise to the upper echelon of games of the genre (and replace some old popular games that became cash grabs)

The game is pretty much Game of thrones with the addition of supernatural/fantasy races such as elves, angels and demons. The plot is really complex with royal court intrigue, politicking, conspiracies while there is also a meta plot of the the old gods vs the new god. The H-scenes are poorly animated with practically consisting a few still renders group together. The faces of the characters are off putting when smiling. This VN would be a REALLY good one if the scenes were better animated. Overall: want a middle-age fantasy VN with good plot, play this. If you want to fap, you would be better off looking elsewhere.

I didn’t finish the game. I got bored after a few hours and just left it there. Maybe in a few weeks I’ll resume it and change my rating if I feel it deserves it. It’s clear that the dev planned a complex story, or at least a complex world, because in the first few hours we get a lot of history lessons from almost every character trying to explain how the world works, and that’s good. My problem with the game is that it’s really slow-paced, and I’m not talking about the sex scenes, I mean the action, the drama, the tension. There’s never a threatening moment where the MC actually has to fight. Instead, we get hours of conversations about the world or about characters related to the MC, and then maybe a sex scene. The sex scenes are okay-ish. The game offers some choices, but they’re all related to romance. If you choose a certain girl, you just get more content with her, and by “content” I mean more endless conversations about history. The MC is boring and perfect, like in almost every other VN. Every girl loves him from the start, which feels weird because, if you pay attention to the dialogues, many of the women are just portrayed as shallow or sluts, obsessed with status or power. Even Olivia, who is supposed to "love" the MC, has sex with his brother, and the MC is somehow fine with it. The lack of action and the MC’s lack of reaction bore me, because nothing really happens, at least nothing that involves him directly. And when something does happen, someone else saves his life. It feels like no matter what happens, he’ll always be fine. Edit: I kept playing until a bit before the halfway point of Chapter 2, and then I started skipping everything. Like I said before, the game wants to have a complex world, but it throws all the lore at you right from the start. It feels like I’m in a history class, not playing a game. It becomes a chore because there’s no action, the MC can’t do shit, and most of the decisions are about who you want to fuck — and only a few of them seem like they’ll actually matter later on. There’s not even a bit of balance between story, sex, and action. I love slow-paced games, but this one is just poorly executed. A lot of the sex scenes have like five static renders and nothing more. I wouldn’t play this one again.

Ch.3 v1.03 Story had great promise, as at the beginning it was made clear that this world has lots of great characters. World full of backstabbing, sad pasts of rape victims, evil father, good hearted friends, mother abusing eunuchs for her sexual enjoyment... Being a good in a world like this feels accomplishment and being vindictive feels natural. Great setup. But sadly it will turn to mindless goody goody harem game, where evil answers will quickly end up in game over. Writing has problems with English language. But for me, bigger problem was how the game is on rails, as there is no meaningful conversation options. And as there is no interesting conversation options, there is also no real danger. MC gets all the women and evil will be conquered. The end. Visually game is good on regular scenes, but sex scenes are not good. There really isn´t much setup for the sex scenes, after it becomes clear that MC gets who ever he wants. Camera angles and positions do try their best, but characters look "off". Like mannequins put on a sexual positions. Doesn´t help that sex scenes are short.

Not really a 5*, but will give it. More like 3.5* that needs some polishing. The translation or word choice, probably a combo, is just not good in too many places. There are semi-frequent misspellings as well One of the more entertaining stories in an AVN. The character is a bit of a Gary Stu, but not in the most obnoxious way - it fits how the character is written instead of it coming off as completely absurd. There is also a ton of content - each chapter is very long. The current edition has hours and hours of content. Not tons of character choice, but there is some and it doesnt appear to just be flavor changes. The graphics/models are dated, but they are fine - there is no way the story progress could occur this quickly otherwise. I will take a story that is going somewhere over a visual masterpiece that takes a decade to get through the intro any day. Would suggest playing if you like story AVNs. You wont like this one otherwise

The story is decent. Good lore and background set up. Characters are interesting so far with their own goals and desires. In many games, the girls have no purpose outside the sphere of the MC. I don't feel this way in this game. Its linear so far. Besides rejecting girls/story paths, there is not many choices to make. There is an actual good amount of content despite it only being chapter 2. The facial expressions can be a bit uncanny. Some devs slightly open the mouth to give the impression that the character is talking. This dev does it A LOT but their mouth is wide opened in a weird :O way. The sex scenes are bad. Very bad. Forget animations, they are just few renders looped to look like a animation. The renders and angles are just all over the place and look weird, you can tell he is very new to it and doesn't have the skill yet. The dick is also just so big the girls look like they have to dislocate their jaws just to fit it into their mouths. The positions abruptly change without any dialogue. Here's cowgirl, here's doggystyle, now they finish with cum in face. Zero transition. I'm not sure what genital morph he is using but it looks strange and out of place. Most devs use either XY or Dicktator for best results. Overall, the set-up is really good. I like the prince MC with all the conspiracies swirling around, and the characters plotlines are good enough to look forward to future releases. As for the art/visuals, definitely leaves much to be desire. Its an area the dev would need to drastically improve in.

Version: Ch.1 v1.0 It's far from perfect. Often times weird facial expressions, conversations that seem to be never-ending, rough animations, and some abrupt transitions. However, it has an interesting story, likeable characters, the women are unique looking, the music is very fitting, and there is just something that sets the mood for each scene really well. It's also very realistic in that the women aren't mindless fuck dolls for the MC. They have other relationships and has a realism. Fitting for the medieval vibe of the game. So, I do recommend to give it a try if you like fantasy/medieval with more realism in how people behave.

Forced relationships and sex scenes, NTR that is unavoidable, strange facial expressions, awkward worded sentences: this game needs a lot or rewrite and rework to get to a playable status. The atory is quite good. The world is divided in several kingdoms, populated with different species. The MC, one of two princes of the human kingdom, meets a tortured girl through fate/intervention from a goddess and starts their way to emancipate the world from evil. Our MC starts in a very hard situation, but slowly works his way to trusted companions and his own standing in life. He is bot particularly attractive, due to the weird faces, but manageable. Character wise he fits with the classic man in power with a heart of gold. I didn't see any sex scene. So far every sex encounter was forced and skipped. It is not strictly kinetic novel, but sadly the dev decided to force really disgusting people into MCs bed. LIs start talking about their past sex encounters right before you go with them (black out to the next day) you were already cucked by your brother, another interested princess fucks her chambermaid, every LI so far is an NTR character. The dialogues are written in very strange way. It seems the dev tried ro mimic a kiddle age dialect, but failed to deliver. With a proper proof reader this is easily corrected, so not a major problem. The graphic is weird. Backgrounds are good, but the characters look unnerving. Most have joker-like expressions with wide grins and dead eyes. I'm not sure how to fix this, since it affects pretty much every character so far. The music is better than in most NV. All in all one of the best points of this game. It is very early in development, so a lot can happen. It needs a complete rewrite and rework of almost all LIs to a point where any would be deemed attractive. So far this is a hard NTR game without the appeal that actual fans if the genre look for. In this state a hard pass, but J will watch if the dev starts reworking and update this review accordingly
