Eveline Vale sees what others cannot. Spirits, demons, and the dark secrets that linger in every shadow. As a medium, she navigates a world of the living and the dead, uncovering hidden truths while seeking the secrets of her own past. Every choice is perilous, every encounter intoxicating, and every heart may hold more than it seems.

Ch.1 Initial Release There's a bug where one CG shows up smaller than it should if you take a certain route mid-game. It’ll be fixed in the Chapter 2 update! Mild Live2D issues. You are likely not to notice them, but will still be fixed in the Chapter 2 update.

Graphics are good. There are lots of text to read outside the dialogues and sometimes the paragraphs were too long. On some occasions, paragraphs were separated by a blank line, what turned the text more easier to read. There's almost no H scenes and animations are based in 2d sprites, being the majority of then related with respiration of the characters. Feels linear, almost like a kinetic novel, except, but you can chose what to say and how to say. And, in a circumstance, you can chose who will do a task with you (but, in reality you do it all). The first chapter involves religion. If you believe there are beings that deserve to suffer eternal pain after dying, then this novel is for you. If you doesn't believe this or this idea make you uncomfortable, then look elsewhere, because this kind of narrative is at the core of this game's lore.

Reviewed Chapter 1 version. This is just...such stunning work! The writing, visuals, sounds, flow & pacing, characters, presentation, all of it is simply sublime. It's been a long time since a game immersed me into a world the way Voiceless Elegy did. And even in just this one chapter, there's hours of content and several interesting characters (provided you don't skip ofc). I can't wait to see where this will go next! Also a special mention that I _love_ how you actually get to see your customized character all the time and in various custom scenes. Too often VN's with character customization forget all about it right after the game starts. Here your chosen features are constantly shown in various scenes, really making it feel like it's you (or your character) in there, interacting. Highly recommended for anyone who likes VN's, even many who don't.

I have long despised and avoided visual novels, but this gripped me instantly. The art style is gorgeous, the story is compelling, the characters are distinct and charming, the sound design is fantastic, and it's scary without the use of jumpscares. Through this game, I now have an open mind to visual novels. 5/5, I love it. For the sexual side, however, I didn't see any sex scenes. I'm not sure if that's because they're not yet implemented or just because I didn't actively seek anything out. (I'm holding out with high hopes for content with Maggie ♥)
