the second level of this already boring game is broken. if diives made the game, not just the art, they should hire some developers. if diives has a dev team, they should be fired and replaced. you would have been better off making a lazy renpy game about some bullshit

If it were judged purely on story and gameplay, I’d comfortably land at a 3/5. The narrative has interesting ideas but doesn’t fully commit to them, often feeling predictable or underdeveloped at key moments. Gameplay, while functional and occasionally engaging, lacks the depth or innovation needed to keep things consistently exciting over time. There are flashes of brilliance, but they’re not sustained long enough to elevate the overall experience. It’s also worth noting that this is an erotic game centered around furry art, which will strongly shape how different players perceive and enjoy it. The themes and character designs are clearly tailored to a niche audience, and while that may not appeal to everyone, it’s executed with confidence and clarity of vision. However, that’s not the reason this experience stands out the most. The visual presentation is nothing short of breathtaking. Every frame feels meticulously crafted, with an extraordinary level of detail that pulls you into its world effortlessly. The lighting, textures, and character artistry are all exceptional. So while it may be a 3/5 in traditional terms, its artistic achievement easily pushes it into an 11/5 territory.

Initial thoughts are not very good. If you’ve played Diive’s previous game then you’re either all in or completely skeptical. Starting off it really isn’t a good thing to see that this is like, an alpha of a beta, there’s close to nothing there and yet right out the gate you’re warned about microtransactions being planned. The game hasn’t even begun to start and there’s already thoughts of having microtransactions involved in a game like this. Start off the game you’ll notice right away there might be a skip button for cutscenes, but dialogue and text boxes can’t be skipped. The pace of the dialogue is so fucking slow that no doubt it’ll get sped up eventually but right now it’s a glacial pace. Thank god you can skip the opening cutscene but you’ll notice right away when you try to play this also affects just selecting a level. It’s very minimal but a 10 second dialogue that can’t be skipped every time you wanna open a door and play, as well as every level you beat when they wanna say something about your time, it all adds up to just dead time in general. The gameplay is basically hot trash. The most basic and uninspired puzzles you can find just about anywhere. Genuinely the kind of stuff you’d find in shovelware or someone trying to make a few bucks on steam by throwing together a furry porn game. Rotate the puzzles, reorder the pieces, whatever it asks of you to make the image itself. The rewards are all pretty mid as well honestly. Each level gives you a single image and each set of levels gives you a reward at the end. The reward at the end is also just kind of a boring pinup with voice over. Not for me, personally, but to each their own. So with what is available, we have Photos (12 levels), Loops, Films, Hardcore Levels, and Bosses. With what seems to be character specific rewards for having someone as a specific host (in this case, Dou, as she’s the only one) and all these options tied to nobody in particular, I don’t really know where this game is going. Is each girl going to have their own version of each level, or is each girl going to be tied to each door? Can every girl be applied to each level and get their own level end rewards, and again does that mean all levels are the same or do they change per character? On top of that, why do we also have time gated content? This whole project feels like some low effort cash grab trying to prey on easy to make picture puzzles and a handful of FOMO thrown in for good measure, all for shit you’ve probably already seen online. Even if you haven’t, none of the pics in the puzzle are worth the effort or the time. Hard pass on this one.

Game: Waifutunes [v1.05] A terrible puzzle game with art from a talented artist. Has time-exclusive things and (allegedly) micro-transactions. Does not work on monitors that are not 16:9. My 3:2 monitor cuts off the side of the game, leaving puzzles unplayable. An extra-widescreen monitor shows stuff put of bounds. Game Play: 1/5 This is unity puzzleslop. We have drag the tile puzzles, drag the tile puzzles but different, and rotate the tile puzzles. After completing the level, you get to sit through a weirdly slow "congrats" screen. Story: 1/5 Nothing. Isekai'd to a puzzle room Art: 3/5 Diives is a great artist. Shame they made a bad game. Pretty sure all the art is available elsewhere already Sound: 2/5 Voice acting is nice.
