Welcome to Free Will is an adult visual novel made by MrStrangelove with Ren'Py. It uses animated 3D CG visuals. You play a young man whose mother has gone missing. He and his older brother head to Free Will, the last place she was seen. Soon he is pulled into local events and encounters someone he did not expect to meet again. As he stays longer, he reviews his choices and begins to understand what life is worth. The story includes humor, lesbian themes, and cheating.
The current version is v0.6.0, released June 26, 2024, and remains an ongoing build rather than a finished game. It runs on Windows and Linux, is written in English, and is uncensored. Earlier updates added episode parts, renders, animations, special renders, songs, journal pages, menu changes, and bug fixes.
Developer's description
After his mother goes missing, a young man and his older brother travel to the small town called Free Will, where she was last seen.
Things get complicated very quickly when he is drawn into a chain of events that takes place in the town and meets the person he thought he would never see again.
As his stay in town continues, he's going to question his previous decisions and begin to see the true value in life.
