About Wildwood

Wildwood is a Ren'Py dating sim and visual novel by Voidyne, presented with 3DCG artwork and a fantasy setting that mixes humor with romance. You play a man who awakens in a mysterious world of magic and monsters with no memory of his arrival. Working at a local tavern, you learn about its people, explore during free time, and build friendships that may grow into romantic paths, while trying to decide whether to settle into this new life or search for a way home.

The current build is version v0.1.6.1, released on June 4, 2026, and development remains ongoing. It is available for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android in English, with no censorship. The latest update adds 25 new scenes, more than 650 new renders, 3 new gallery scenes, a new Eyestone UI, 10 new songs, and 3 new bonds.

Developer's description

You wake up in a mysterious world full of magic and monsters, with no recollection of how you got there! Get a job at the local tavern as you learn the mysteries of this world and meet its inhabitants. Use your free time between shifts to explore the world and spend quality time with your friends, opening up potential avenues for romance and passion. Will you adjust to life in the new world? Or work tirelessly to find a way home?

v0.1.6.1 25 NEW SCENES 650+ NEW RENDERS 3 NEW GALLERY SCENES BRAND NEW EYESTONE UI 10 NEW SONGS 3 NEW BONDS v0.1.5 The Prologue update was ready to go so I figured I'd stay up a little late and get it out early! Along with the release, I'm sure you've noticed that the game has gone over a full visual makeover, I'm very happy with how it all came out! Here's a basic overview of what the update contains. Full removal of my interjections throughout the prologue asking for feedback. A slight adjustment of the script, mostly grammar and flow edits. Additional changes have been made to better fit the clearer vision I have for the story leading into Chapter 1. Speaking of Chapter 1, parts of the prologue have been edited to remove any and all mentions of a sandbox game-mode, as the game has now been re-focused into a linear experience. Additional dialogue has been added to better explain the impact of choices on the story, and how they affect your bonds. Clarification has been added when a character is romanceable, to avoid instances where players thought the men were romanceable! v0.1 initial zone release
