About Arcane Academy
Arcane Academy is a fantasy school-setting RPG made by Auguror in Godot, with 2D AI CG visuals. You play an ungifted gatekeeper at a walled academy of forbidden magic. Your sister is dying from the hollowing, and the cure is controlled by the school that scorns you. A detention master gives you a Binding Sigil that converts forbidden looks at passing students into Mana. You judge arrivals against the daily dress code, issue citations for violations, and take deeper glances to store Mana, meet the weekly tithe, and try to beat the cure deadline. The tone centers on voyeurism and the pressure of a cornered protagonist.
The current build is v0.9.0, released July 7, 2026, as the first public release, so development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Android, supports English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Simplified Chinese, and is uncensored. The latest changelog only notes that this version opened public access.

Papers, Please at the gate of a magic school: judge, cite, peek, profit. Spoiler: Story You are the one ungifted soul inside a walled academy of forbidden magic - the underpaid warden of its gate. Your sister is dying of the hollowing, and the cure is rationed by the school that despises you. The detention master's offer: a Binding Sigil that distills Mana from every illicit look you take at the gilded daughters passing your checkpoint. Judge them against the day's dress code. Cite what they break. Look deeper than you should. Bank the Mana, pay the weekly tithe, and race the cure against the calendar. You are not corrupt. You are cornered. Every illicit look is to save her.
