About Ascension I: From Rags to Riches

Ascension I: From Rags to Riches is a 2D AI CG management RPG by The Pink Penguin, built with Others. You play Edgar, a male protagonist who improves roguish and sexual abilities to overcome story challenges in Tego. Later, you open businesses serving lecherous townspeople, balancing income, expenses, reputation, and hiring girls for your establishments. The goal is to reach the throne and Lady Isabelle, with multiple endings shaped by your choices. The game includes harem, monster girl, and romance themes.

The current build is v1.0.3, released March 21, 2025. It runs on Windows, is available in English, and is uncensored. Since the version is not marked Final, development is ongoing. The listed v1.0.1 entry notes a demo for the full release and the first zone.

Developer's description

The game has a few interesting mechanics. Throughout the story you get to upgrade Edgar's roguish skills as well as sexual abilities. You then get to use these to handle challenges before you and progress throughout the story. Furthermore, later in the game you get to establish multiple business of the.. let us say, catering to lecherous citizens of Tego, the main city. You must maintain, grow and upgrade these businesses with eye on your income and expenses as well as your business' reputation. Lastly you must hire and find girls to work your fine establishments. Finally if you play your cards right, you'll get to pursue your ultimate goal the throne and Lady Isabelle. But beware, there are several endings depending on the choices you made throughout the game.
