Ash and Velvet
is a dark fantasy adult visual novel about a proud dark elf learning that power at a human court is bought with favors, obedience, reputation, humiliation, and sexual leverage.
Serith is sent to the surface with a simple purpose: turn men and dwarves against each other for the benefit of her house. She arrives cold, disciplined, and certain of her own superiority — but the human world does not meet her on clean political ground.

As Serith tries to manipulate the court around her, she is pulled into a web of scrutiny, coercive pressure, erotic leverage, humiliation, and compromise. Every concession can be useful. Every useful concession can become a weakness.
Chapter 1 follows Serith's arrival on the surface and her first steps into human power: unwanted attention, public scrutiny, reputation pressure, humiliating concessions, and the first cracks in her carefully held control.
Chapter 2 sends Serith north, away from the controlled manners of the court and into colder, rougher ground. Her mission becomes more dangerous, more useful, and more personally compromising as an old border post becomes the first real weapon in her attempt to turn men and dwarves against each other.
This is a story-focused dark fantasy adult VN with a defined female protagonist, fully voiced dialogue, choice-based tone shaping, reputation pressure, political manipulation, humiliation, and slow-burn corruption.

Chapter 1 It's decent fairly good so far, you could cut a 1/3 of the text and useless banter back and forth out of and it wouldn't hurt anything, just move things along faster. Quick and easy summary: All of the particular races in this story seem to have a real hatred for each other, but the beginning basically starts with the elves preparing for an invasion from the dwarves. You play one of the elven commanders trusted soldiers, you're sent to request aid from the human leader "lord", whatever he is lol, problem is humans hate elves and don't even believe the dwarfs are real. So... several times you're given options on how you can approach and deal with the humans. You can be rude, you can be nuetral, and you can be nice. pretty simple. to sum it up... right now besides just some small dialog changes, no choice really has any effect on whats going on so far, pretty much just feels like a straight kinetic novel and pretty basic. Hopefully we will start to see some real branching of the story as it continues, but its still fairly good story and worth a read if you want to check it out.
