This AVN has so much potential to be hot and sexy but it's too self-indulgent, neurotic, autistic and slow burn. It has too much filler - too many thoughts and long boring dialogues that take a long time to get to the point. Good writing should 'show' rather than 'tell'. Being trapped in the mind of a neurotic, schizophrenic and autistic woman with the maturity of a 13 year old girl is not exactly my idea of a good time. Topped off with huge servings of exaggerated stereotypical 13 y/o girl melodrama (with 18 year old girl melodrama added in for good measure). So much indecisiveness - back and forth, yes and no, want it but don't want it - you get mental whiplash multiple times every scene. What's the point of the whole Rose drama? At this point it's just a huge 'fuck you' from the dev. This is pretty much the definition of slow burn hell, designed to suck in needy subscribers and milk them.

Very nearly gave it 5 stars, glad I waited. I can't give half because I want to leave 2 and a half. This is all for the whole thing with Rose and Lydia. It was 5 stars for that alone until the end of this update. They had an awesome dynamic and would have been an awesome relationship which is where I assumed it was going but Rose still left and the whole thing felt like it was a waste of time and I hate feeling i've had my time wasted. The whole thing with them should have been left until she either came back or decided to stay. it just felt like a completely pointless scenario. It took all these updates leading to it for Lydia to finally accept her feelings for it to go absolutely nowhere. The main reason for me putting it in a review is just incase anyone else tries that route. It's was the reason I played and with Rose leaving for another country to go to college which takes several years it's kinda killed it for me, personally. Mainly a me issue, Rose was the only one I had any interest in so i'm sure it's fine for people on other routes, Just note that if you are like me and playing to get Rose and Lydia together, it gets to be really sweet and then ends in the worst way possible. Seems a bit weird to me that a dev would take one of the best love interests and kill the route like that but it's certainly a decision. Alas, with as that potential relationship crashes and burns so too does my motivation. Shame really. Edit - I want to add a slight edit because it's been brought to my attention that jumping in like I did may have been a tad rash. I don't dislike the game or think anything is bad, I dislike how one route went. It will probably all go well in the end and i'll review my review at a later date. At this moment in time i'm sad, sad gets a 3. It is a pure me thing though, everything else is great and up until the lest 2 lines of the Rose and Lydia route they are perfect together. You do need to try it for yourself, don't like my admittedly rash judgement stop you. In fact, I insist you do, it is a good game and one of very few female protag games that give you total control of your choices.

This dev is really awesome, he got great games and inspiration to do his work. If you are a subscriber then you got good connection with dev and can send him ideas for future work, he is open to almost every type of content and his pros are really endless, what I would not enjoy about him is his taste in futanari/shemale but thats a matter of taste and even if he includes it, it will be avoidable.

You can sum this title up in two words Ambitious and Pretentious. The title wants to let you do everything to let you live the life of the MC. They're are a ton of Paths and choices that shape the MC. Sadly none of them work none of them go anywhere and some are just plain stupid. This story is inconsistent and disjointed is the best description I have seen for this title. The pretentious part is the writer wanting to do everything and failing at everything because of it. What is the plot of this story you ask? So far it has NONE, what is here is all boring setup. The writer wasted the opening with the hospital birth of the MC. The college doesn't exist because as more or more path get added it becomes harder and harder to focus on a plot. This is all a very long story setup that goes nowhere. People who hate real life, are sure to give this 5 stars as they want to escape the real world and this gives them a chance. It's dull it's boring, it makes zero sense and the only thing good (not great) about it is the characters models are dome acceptably well. Don't waste your time, unless you really want to escape into someone else's life to escape reality, then I'm sure you will give it 5 stars.

The protagonist of this game is among the most beautiful I've ever seen, mainly because she's a redhead. The story is still in its early stages, but so far it's very good, and besides the protagonist, the other characters are also all well done.

Honestly, games like this in the female and lesbian protagonist genre are rare and I see that due to the quality of the script, it is a very detailed story that makes the story even more immersive. The graphics are incredible, every detail done to perfection, which is even rarer in this genre, which makes me realize that this is one of the best games on the female and lesbian protagonist tag platform. I look forward to more updates and continued good work, and I plan to contribute to Patreon in the future.

Short summary: The main girl is beautiful and carries the whole game. Debatable, but I gave 4 stars for her alone. The author tries to go for realism, but often ends up creating mundane conversations that don’t go anywhere or have an impact, or literally making a wikipedia style infodumps. This has potential to be pretty good. It has some choice driven decision that you get to make that does seem to impact the story and the renders are pretty good. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a lot of story yet, but will wait to see if they have more content.

v0.7f + choices + renders + game has funny moments - Rose is annoying trash and also behave like total idiot, for example - she flip out when Lydia show interest in guys. - uninteresting story - no music (it's rare in avn these days) - Conversations between characters are too long and boring. Get to the point already - straight content is poorly done, it's a real disaster I don't recommend this avn if you are looking for good or ANY straight action. I expected something great - especially after reading last reviews, but unfortunately is not. Maybe something will change in the future, but for now 1 star from me

I have to say that I find the writing in Black Diamond pretty much on point. Obviously, there are some far-fetched things happening in the overall setting, that's true for most VNs. But the way the protagonists interact with each other feels very natural, believable and interesting. Add to these really nice renders and a slow but steady progression without any time fillers like sandbox, and you have ingredients for a very good visual novel. I will say that the initial encounter in the train raised all kinds of red flags regarding pure corruption type games, which in most cases are of low quality. And I would definitely say that BD has a significant focus on that genre. But the way it is presented, the slow revelation of all those little secrets other protagonists have, it all feels very thought-through. Every character has their own problems and goals in life and although the female MC is tied to all of them to some extent, it still could be a world that existed without her. For the great scene-, dialogue writing and renders alone I strongly recommend this game. It is female protag, it is a slice of life, it is corruption porn which not everyone is crazy about (it's not my favorite genre as well), but it is first and foremost an excellent execution.

Nice models, especially the fmc, as well as well developed renders and scenes. Diverse cast, each with relatively unique relationships with the fmc, giving rise to potentially very kinky scenarios (hope to see the cast grow). The choices also seem relevant and useful in allowing the player to carve out the character they want to see in the protagonist. No significant grammar or English issues, and the plot so far has been relatively sound. All in all, a vey promising fmc ero VN!

Pros: Incredibly attractive models for the MC and her mom. Diversity of choices and routes. Pretty good writing. High quality background/setting renders that are more than just the generic house/city that you see in every game. Cons: Nothing really so far. Outstanding work so far. 5/5

Just finished playing version v0.7f. I'm absolutely in love with the game. Phenomenal writing and character building. I focused on the Katya route pace is perfect and I see the development between the characters, I can feel the love as well. This game (in my opinion) has the potential to be one of the best on this site. Granted it's pretty new and not to much content yet it still has enough to get you engrossed in the story. Only minor downside i see but it more of a personal eek dialogue at times get a bit long winded but again it's a personal thing I was just being impatient and wanted to see more wholesome lovin from Katya This game has branching routes so you can tailor to your own play style. From what I gathered (I could be wrong) so far you got a few love routes and some corruption routes. So it's going to be interesting to see what becomes of that. Anyway best of luck to the writer definitely one of my favorite. I'm looking forward to what comes next.❤❤

100% top marks, this is a fantastic game, im enjoying playing as the mc that has a sense of humour is totally worth it, Lydia puts a smile on my face and that is because the story and script is very well written, I love how the mc looks, for me, personally, everything is positive for Lydia path, I got no complaints, if you love female protag games, your gonna like this one, totally worth playing

[0.6f] Pros: -The quality of the renders varies between good and great -The characterization of the various in game characters is competent. -The design (at least of the female) characters is unique. The author definitely spend some effort here. Neutrals: -Choices are a bit too spread out for my taste. Cons: -Nothing too bad but it irks me that characters that should be at least 20 years older than the MC look *at most* 5 years older. The women that is. All the men more or less look their age. Oh well.

As a bit of a connaisseure of female protagonis games, I gotta say, this is a good one. The renders are good, the characters intriguing and the storyline promising. The greatest aspect of this game is the amount of choices the player is faced with and how the story can branch out in so many different directions based on those choices. It's still early days for this game, but for now, I'm impressed. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

I think the last reviews of this thread are a bit exaggerated, although the game is nothing more than a prologue without much more than a couple of decisions and that these are carried out by a male MC, it is also obvious that it is only the introduction to give rise to the real story and therefore placing 1 or 5 stars is too much. For now visually it's not bad, it's obvious that the baby that appears at the end will surely be the MC. For now 3 stars I think is ideal.

My review and rating about the game is 5 star [v0.1 Demo] Tagged as a female protagonist so I read the description of the game. The game follows the story of Lydia an 18 years old girl that goes to college. It piqued my curiosity. Once I started I found myself playing as a male character, I thought that was a unique way to start the game. I see this as a prelude to getting the back story of the protagonist, Lydia. As a demo choices are slim, but that's understandable. 1) Story/plot hint at an interesting adventure 5/5 2) Female protag could be called misleading at the demo level, but if you really understand the direction of the story it's obvious 4/5 3) Female Protagonist is a daring choice, a good one I think 5/5 4) Art and dialogue are good, use of different POV shots shows forethought in development 5/5 Conclusion: This game is worthy of those who are able to understand a more nuanced story and visual direction. A very commendable first go. I look forward to the next update. Amendment to review: After playing v0.1.0 sadly it did not live up to my expectations, the images are good still but the dialogue is a bit off as far as an English speaker is concerned. hopefully in the future deus-actum can improve this issue.
