About Checkpoint

Checkpoint is an adult HTML sandbox game by TheSimpleMan101, set in the county of Montierra. You play a male protagonist living through a strange apocalypse outside the county, where people have become monsters and society is slowly collapsing. The story asks how your character changes as corruption spreads through a dystopian setting, with transformation themes woven into the world. The game uses 2D AI CG art and plays as a text-based RPG with exploration, looting, combat, and player decisions.

The current build is v0.0.4 Demo, released October 4, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, in English, with no censorship. The latest changelog notes an art style change, quality-of-life interface updates, and a combat update. The demo presents the basic sandbox loop of exploring Montierra, fighting, and making choices.

Checkpoint is a sandbox HTML game set in the county of Montierra. A strange apocalypse has happened outside the county where humans have become monsters. As society in Montierra slowly collapses how will your character develop? Loot, fight and explore the county and make your own decisions.
