Dungeon Descent is a roguelike dungeon-crawler experience where each foray into the darkness is a unique and unpredictable challenge.​

v3.1 Key Features New Hub Location: Death is not the end, but a return home. Upon falling in battle, you are now transported to a safe haven to catch your breath. The Bestiary: A mysterious tome has appeared in the hub, recording all your... close encounters with the dungeon's inhabitants. Study their strengths and weaknesses. Talent Tree: You can now unlock permanent upgrades and unique abilities for your deeds. Grow stronger with every cycle! ‍☠ Steal from the Merchant: Short on gold? Take a risk and try to pilfer his wares! But be prepared for the consequences if you get caught. ⚔ Gameplay & Balance Revamped Combat Logic: Monsters aren't so stupid! If you repeatedly attack or defend the same body part, enemies will adapt: they will protect their vulnerabilities and seek out gaps in your defense. New Female Enemies: The darkness now holds new dangerous and alluring inhabitants. New Loot: These new enemies have desires... and things worth taking. For New Players Introductory Tutorial: New players can now get a quicker grasp of the basics of survival (and more) in our harsh world. Updated Opening Dialogue: Added a budding story and a motivation to delve into the abyss again and again. Known Issues The save system is still under construction. We are actively fighting this bug, but for now, your progress between sessions is not saved. Consider it part of the challenge! Miscellaneous A multitude of minor fixes and improvements to make your experience a bit smoother. v2 Game engine completely rewritten : the first prototype was all in one file and became hard to read; now the codebase is clean and modular. ⚔ Combat System Combat mechanics fully redesigned : instead of “rock–paper–scissors,” you now attack one of three enemy zones and defend the corresponding zones of your hero. Trap and altar mechanics updated to fit the new combat system. Enemies reworked for the new combat system. Loot added to enemies. Inventory & Equipment Full equipment system added (previously there was none). Merchant and chest logic rewritten to support the new equipment system. Player Progression Basic experience system added along with level-up bonuses. Every 6th floor is a boss fight (currently there’s only one boss; later appearances are looped). Interface & Localization Language selection added : currently available in English and Russian (translation bugs or untranslated strings may occur). I like the ART even if it is Ai Dungeoncrawlers i also like I rly like the idea of the game BUT... with this rock paper scissor gameplay its just bad. You dont have any chance to alter the outcome of a fight. All you need to do is be lucky. Absolut garbage and it kills all joy playing it. Progress is totaly random. Even finding a healing Alter or a merchant that sells heals is random. No clue how it supposed to be "played" because it all comes down to random luck and nothing else. A bit randomness is fine, but all random is just a no good game
