Escape from Ghosts

This is a decent technological demo. The game looks good, but now it needs actual content: actual goals, more props, items you can interact with, outfits, doors to open... Also, this game only offers very light erotica, if even. It would need to become lewder, to introduce an arousal mechanism and so on. I would call it 10% complete at that point.

This game is an exercise in frustration. The number of times I ran directly past the orb I was staring straight at because the movement mechanics are utterly jank is enough to lose a star on its own, and that is the tip of the iceberg. Have a mechanic to find the orb somewhere in this pointless maze? Great. That mechanic also attracts the ghosts? Interesting difficulty. Randomly decide to gag you to reduce the sensing radius to a tiny fraction of the useful range? WHY??!! How about randomly picking a number between 1 and 3 for how many orbs it takes to free you and not giving you any indication of why or even how many that number is in a given level? The game is already a walking simulation, and then they decide to make you hop? OH WAIT, you don't even get to hop until you've crawled to a wall and mashed F for 10 seconds? Alright, you got through that, so now we're gonna make you bring 2 orbs together to escape, also you carry and drop the orb behind your back, so if you don't 100% nail the jank movement controls and kick the orb on the ground it will roll out of range to count as bringing them together. I can enjoy decent porn through jank game mechanics, but this isn't porn, so it's just a jank game.

First and foremost there is no sexual content, this is strictly a tie me up type of game, least none that I could see getting through 1/2 of the levels. Really more 3 if not for the fact the game's well enough designed. The game is not bad though whether or not it'll be your type of thing really depends. Premise of the game is essentially a puzzler, there are 3 maps and multiple variations (levels) per map each with different starting conditions, though overall the objectives are the same. Free yourself by going to orbs and avoiding ghosts. Pretty much sums up the whole game. At either rate for me it's more or less not if I can beat a level just a matter of how long this level will take me to do, largely due to the fact that some levels start you in strict bondage so you just move really slow. That's about where I started losing interest.

I have played all the previous games made by this developer and can tell that he's improved greatly. This game has a good balance between difficulty and fun - it is easier to get out of bondage, the character doesn't have to crawl on the floor 90% of the game and the gameplay has become more dynamic. Now we need to avoid enemies and search for spheres - all these additions create a lot of potentially interesting situations and variable gameplay. After beating the game there is a custom challenge mod that lets the player create different customizable challenges - and this mode is the most interesting part of the game with great replayability. I really recommend this game because I find it fun, sexy and challenging.
