Free Rein, made by Sean Jeh in HTML, is a text-based story about a loving couple who agree that she will spend an evening with someone else. You play a partner in that arrangement, setting rules together and then experiencing the negotiation, the date, and the aftermath of what is shared or left unsaid. The presentation uses AI CG art, and the story aims for honest, consensual themes rather than surprise betrayal, with multiple endings.
The current version is Ch.1-7, dated 2026-10-18, and development is ongoing. The game was released on October 8, 2026, for Windows, Mac, and Linux, with English and Dutch language options, and it is uncensored. The changelog shows Chapter 7 arriving in the latest build, Chapter 6 on October 8, 2026, and a save game feature added on August 19, 2026. Earlier public chapters include a prologue and five chapters.

Free Rein is a short, sharp story about a couple who take the step: she goes out with someone else, with his knowing. You write the rules together, then you play what happens; the negotiation, the evening, and above all what gets told afterward, and what doesn't. No surprise NTR. Consensual sharing, two people who love each other; tagged honestly so nobody gets ambushed.
