Gladiator King
About Gladiator King
Gladiator King is a Ren'Py game by Tale Master Zian, using animated 2D AI CG art. It follows a male protagonist whose family is ruined by the warlust of Rome's newly crowned emperor. Raised on battlefields, he tries to protect his last surviving sibling, but an ambush separates them and he is captured. Six years later, he leaves prison as a gladiator. Players decide whether he seeks a quiet life, becomes a champion, or reaches for real power, with combat, harem, and multiple endings shaping the story.
The current build is v0.17-Draft, released on November 4, 2025 for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, without censorship. This draft update revised the main character's artwork and design, plus Tira and Carina, and renamed Tiberius Fuscus to Diabetus Obescus. It added Nivea, Carina's sick daughter; Septima, a Roman centurion; three more gladiators named Magnon, Bastus, and Amun; one NPC soldier; Flacidius Cornelius Antoninus, a Roman praetor; his wife Cornelius Julia and daughter Cornelius Rosella; Aurelia Valeria Selestina, daughter of the current emperor Caesar; her bodyguard Aelia Maurilla; her slave Lina; noble lanista Tiberion Ferox; and Zyra, an unknown figure.
Developer's description
I will never again allow what is mine to be taken from me. I will not bow to those who oppose me. This was the last patience I would show them. A king? Hah. An emperor? Don’t make me laugh. The only power they truly hold is the crown upon their heads. But what if… I were the one to wear that crown? Our hero, lost his family to the warlust of the newly crowned Roman emperor. Growing up on the battlefield, he strives to protect his last surviving sibling—until a treacherous ambush separates them, and he is captured by the enemy. Six years later, he emerges from prison as a gladiator. Will our gladiator live a quiet life, rise as a champion, or seek to claim true power? His destiny lies in your hands.
