Occultus: DoD is a noir detective story with supernatural elements, made by BC in Ren'Py using 3DCG art. You play private detective Jane Malady as she searches for a missing woman and is pulled into Los Angeles’s murky underworld, where cults and monsters dominate. The story uses choices, romance, and paranormal danger, with themes of corruption, horror, and lesbian relationships.
The current build is finished, revision 1, released on September 16, 2024 for Windows, Linux, and Mac in English without censorship. The latest update adds 501 new renders, resolves the main plot, and leaves teases for a next plot. It also includes five separate ending scenes for each love interest, plus a bonus Lucille scene if conditions are met, along with bug fixes, grammar and spelling corrections, and added music.
