About Outbreak: Aftermath

Outbreak: Aftermath is a story-driven visual novel made with Ren'Py by NightOwl. It presents a dystopian world ruined by a rage virus that has no cure, where survival carries a heavy price. You follow a male protagonist from childhood through long years on the road, and his choices shape the person he becomes. Once he reaches Oren, a rare safe haven behind walls, the danger does not vanish; it only takes a different form. The game uses 3D CG visuals and English text, with no censorship.

The current build is v0.0.1, released on April 24, 2026. It is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac, and the latest update added the first part of the prologue. Development is ongoing for this early release.
