Pokemon Brap and Shit

The idea is fun, but the gameplay and execution is ... mediocre. This is barely impossible to play as a plant start, if you don't spend a lot of time grinding. Also I feel the map design is VERY basic... too basic. The first two towns only have 3 buildings each. The only H content consists of 4 or 5 buttshots and are nearly identical. They only happen if you LOSE, if you win the scene permanently disappears. Many scenes hint at scat, at which the player blacks out. The writing is also extremely basic and frankly lifeless. We don't even hear the thoughts of the MC. I feel this loop needs refinement. We need more scenes and different positions; if you want to include scat, either do it the proper way or don't imply it at all. Overall, I still think this has some potential, and if things improve, I'll update this Review. I will keep a look at it, but currently, this is not very good.

It is pretty incredible what kind of story you can weave under a title that would normally make someone think of a shitpost. I went in expecting a joke, but by the end, I was touched on a deep level. This is a tale of love, loss and facing your fears, of deep philosophy and liberty. It is my Game of the Year, and I highly suggest you play it.
