Sadie is a perfectly normal office worker living her most mediocre life--that is, until she has a run-in with the legendary Truck-Kun and winds up in another world. Now Sadie is an Isekai Hero(ine) and thankfully, she's very familiar with the subject, thanks to her love of romance novels and adult video games!
Navigate this new world as Sadie and see what kind of impact she can bring to the land. She'll become an adventurer, a diplomat, a murder hobo, and much more as she learns more about herself and her newly-upgraded body.
Expectations:
This game is a love letter to classic RPGs from the 1990s., where each book and painting tells a (sometimes silly) story and the main character sees the world, enjoys the sights, and racks up a body count John Matrix would be proud of. The erotic elements are of the slow-burn variety, especially with the major characters. But this is very much an adult game, with in-world discussions of taxes, philosophy, and monetary policy. And boobies, too, I guess.
v0.3.1
Critical Notes!
Version 0.3.0 was a
save-breaking release
. If you have created a save from a version prior to 0.3.0, you
will
find errors in 0.3.1 because many database entries for things like battle skills changed. If you have created a save from 0.3.0 or are using one of the 0.3.0 saves in the archive file, it
will
work. 0.3.1 is itself not a save-breaking release, so your 0.3.0 saves will continue to function as expected.
What's New
Difficulty levels! Right now, there are two difficulty levels: Normal and Story Mode. Normal difficulty is exactly the same as you'd expect. Story Mode makes enemies considerably easier to defeat while retaining the standard combat patterns. You can switch between modes mid-game. Look for this in the Options -> System menu.
Sadie can now change clothes! Click on the mirror in Sadie's room, either in the Diplomatic Quarters or The Bottom Rung Hotel, and you can swap out what Sadie's wearing. It doesn't have any impact on the game at this point, though stay tuned there.
Seven Tiers of Harmonia are now accessible. Initial entry to a new Tier costs 500G, but Sadie might be able to find a way around that with a bit of cleverness. (Hint: you can get free access to three new Tiers in this release if you play through the right way.)
The Harmonia Adventurers' Guild has two missions for Sadie to take on with her usual aplomb.
Sadie tries to read a magic book! With your help, she might even learn a thing or two and learn one incredibly overpowered spell.
Sadie can visit a psychologist and maybe learn a little bit more about herself. Or just talk for a long time.
A new member joins the party! Meet Landon, a swordsman who flutters between an attacker and a tank. Call him an off-tank at your peril!
Teach Mallory a lesson! Help Mallory develop her skills.
Plenty of cheesecake images, as well as one new sex scene. But that sex scene is the one you've probably been waiting for since about, oh, release 0.2.1.
Added about
3 hours
of gameplay.
What's Better
You can now see the current skill level and XP on skill selection, either in combat or when selecting a skill.
I've significantly revamped the story beat selection process. If all goes well, you won't notice a thing, but it will save me a fair amount of time and troubleshooting effort.
Interior doors no longer require a scene transfer. Instead, Sadie has learned how to cross thresholds safely and securely.
Pierce, Slash, and Blunt skills now show the relevant icon, not just the text. This makes it easier to match to the encyclopedia entries.
Whenever a player gets another action (like with Sadie's Succubus Form), a toast pops up informing you of this fact.
I've nerfed many of the enemies (more than 30 of them) in Act II to fit more in line with my goal of 3-8 turns per normal battle for a player of average skill. Combat in that section of the game should now feel considerably smoother and less of a grind.
Anime Mode now includes images for Scan and Guard.
I've resized several enemy images so that they fit more appropriately on the screen.
All of the merchants have great new sales! Higher-end weapons and armor cost less. Admittedly, you couldn't buy any of that stuff before, but it's still cheaper now.
Mallory's greedy little fingers have become even more dexterous! She gets a small bump in her ability to steal per Steal skill level, and she can now buy accessories that increase her capacity for thievery.
Fixing compression artifacts and compressing a few extra images ended up saving about 70MB in space for this release, even after the new content.
What's Fixed
The first goblin was beatable when it should not have been. That goblin is now sufficiently swole to survive Sadie with a walking stick.
Anime Mode images no longer have compression artifacts. That means they should look considerably better than before. They're still generated, but if you think about it, the picture with 6 fingers and the picture with 4 fingers average out to a perfectly fine hand.
The same goes for Sadie's in-game pictures (pressing the "p" key on the keyboard).
v0.3.0
Critical Notes!
This is a
save-breaking
release, so your old save files will
not
work! I apologize for needing to do that, but there were so many changes in this release and some of them required huge modifications to leveling, skills, etc.
To remediate this issue, for 0.3.0 only, I am releasing a set of savefiles at different stages.
What's New
An entirely new combat mechanic! Sadie and company have three styles of attack: blunt, pierce, and slash. Enemies have strengths and weaknesses against each, which should increase the amount of thought involved in combat.
Every character now has an expanded set of skills and abilities! Some of these abilities have cooldowns to prevent spamming them too frequently. Sorry, 52-Card Pickup and Cheerlead, but it had to happen.
Sadie bought an encyclopedia set! Press "E" to open the encyclopedia. You can also open it in battle, as it contains valuable information on foes, including their strengths and weaknesses.
Sadie and company can use the Scan skill during battle to learn more about foes, such as their strengths, weaknesses, and Zodiac signs! Okay, maybe not Zodiac signs. Yet.
Escaping combat is no longer a 100% prospect. Instead, you'll have to play a button mash game, whose difficulty depends on your team's agility versus that of your foes.
The XP growth profile has changed! Sadie and company will gain levels a bit slower than before, but progression will still be noticeable throughout each act.
Every enemy has been re-specced from the ground up. This includes new skills, new status, new XP and G earned, and a newfound desire to kill Sadie. And Neemar, if he cheated them at cards.
"Anime Mode" in combat. Each combat operation has its own set of images associated with it. When you select a skill (including Attacks but not Guard), you'll see a randomized image relating to that skill. You can turn this on or off in the Options menu.
Sadie and company can purchase Armor Stones. These handily slot into armor and serve to modify it in one of three ways. You can increase agility & evasion rate at the cost of defense, increase defense at the cost of evasion & agility rate, or increase max HP. Stones are optional and can be purchased in stores or found in (future) treasure chests, just like in real life.
In Act I, Sadie and Ellanon get to wear their black dresses, including for combat.
Sadie has access to a recollection room! Relive all of your favorite sex scenes and get hints on how to unlock the rest of them.
Added about
5 minutes
of gameplay from Act III. But maybe they're an important 5 minutes?
What's Better
There's now a web version that you can use with Android/iOS devices! You'll need an application like MaldiVes to get it to work, and I can't troubleshoot iOS or Android issues, so this is absolutely an "at your own risk" solution. I've done enough basic Android testing to say it works okay, though my personal preference is to play it on PC.
(NOTE: the web/iOS/Android version of the game will be available on my Patreon. It's a free post so no registration is required.)
The user guide (aka manual) has been updated with lots of new information! Press "g" to open the user guide.
Speaking of which, several keyboard commands have been remapped to (hopefully) better keys. Check them out in the user guide!
Energy drinks are now consumable outside of battle and they give you a small HP increase to boot.
Everybody now has additional sprites with additional clothing options.
Sprites now more clearly represent character states. Now, Corpo Sadie won't wake up wearing yesterday's work clothes!
You can skip through dialogue with the Ctrl button. If you miss something important, use the "m" key to view the message log.
Sadie's XP earnings from engaging in adult activities with men has dropped. As a percentage of XP per level, it's about the same, but because the XP system has been revamped, these needed to come down.
I've performed a full runthrough of the walkthrough, cleaning up some language and making sure everything is correct.
Each menu has been updated and new functionality is now available in several menus!
The Options menu now has settings for Master Volume and Anime Mode.
The Options menu now has a setting to identify when you are fighting an impossible battle. Generally, with impossible battles, you need to survive some number of turns to succeed. If you enable this setting, you'll see when a battle is (or should be!) impossible to beat.
Sadie can now ask a variety of NPCs to get out of her way as she storms through the city. I've probably covered somewhere between 95 and 100% of possible cases where you can get stuck behind an NPC.
A bunch of new conversations should help develop out characters better. Many of them will take place at the Diplomatic Quarters dinner table, but look for Dinestra outside of the Svetlanda Guild, Neemar in the Hope Springs Guild, Shelley in the Hope Springs tavern, and more.
Way too many small changes to note. In general, the first two acts should feel a lot more cohesive and polished. For example, doors open and close properly, Sadie is wearing the correct outfit throughout several sequences (black dress in the castle, waitress outfit in the tavern, etc.), and characters move a bit more smoothly.
Keyboard commands have been remapped and made a bit more sensible. You can review the keyboard commands in the user guide.
Quest levels have been tweaked based on the new XP system, as well as (approximately) where you should be when accepting the quest. Unless there's a plot-related reason for it to be wrong.
Sadie's Succubus Form spells (Fire and Flame) now appear on the Skill Levels menu!
Cleaned up the image quality of remaining male character sprites with visual glitches.
What's Fixed
Fixed a bug where Sadie can leave the guard duty station before she should.
Fixed a bug where Sadie could collect cave moss before she should.
Fixed a pair of bugs when Sadie helps the Sanitation Union and should receive a reward.
Heartland Farms regains its original name, Homesteader Farms. Can't believe my Chief of Continuity missed that one.
Stealth missions now handle failure much better. Not that Sadie or Mallory ever fail stealth missions. After all, that's not what really happened. But just in case, scripted enemies will now consistently return to their original positions and will reset their movement patterns so they don't get stuck. Random guards (like in the Tiara heist) will still end up where they were when Sadie/Mallory resets.
v0.2.7
What's New
The thrilling conclusion to Act II, with all of the political drama you could possibly want!
Travel to the city of Arksvardt, a place where humans and catgirls get along!
Take on two Adventurers' Guild missions, including the Dungeon of Doom and killing Orcish mages!
Meet the Heroes of the Land, the Eastern Duchy's most famous group of adventurers!
Negotiate strategically with the forces of the Eastern Duchy
Go shopping! Find fancy new clothes for all of Sadie's traveling party!
There may even be a man right up Dinestra's alley hanging around in town, but getting him will test Sadie's patience
There is
one
new sexy scene, but it's a doozy. There's also a great spread of cheesecake throughout this release.
All in all, this is approximately
3 hours
of new gameplay.
What's Better
Cleaned up the image quality of several male character sprites, particularly Sadie's party members.
What's Fixed
Not much. There were no active bugs as of the final 0.2.6 release, so nothing to fix here. (Note: there is currently a known bug around the Cave Moss mission in Act I. It will be fixed in the next release.)
v0.2.6
What's New
The stunning conclusion of the Den of Thieves missions! Find out what happens to the gangs of Svetlanda.
Sadie helps the Isekai Order one more time on a very personal mission.
Sadie and company travel to Flenzwald, the Duke's favorite small town.
Sadie helps out the people of Flenzwald with three additional Adventurers' Guild tasks.
Negotiations begin! Have Sadie assist the Monster Kingdom's diplomatic forces in their fight for marginal changes in duty schedules and more!
Sadie gets a new outfit! You still can't choose when she wears it, but one thing at a time.
There are
three
new sexy scenes, as well as the normal spread of cheesecake images along the way.
All in all, this is approximately
3 hours
of new gameplay.
What's Better
Touched up portraits for several members of Sadie's party, as well as adding new outfits.
You can now show and hide the message box during gameplay! Press "h" on your keyboard or LB on your gamepad. We won't ask why you're hiding the dialogue.
What's Fixed
Sadie will no longer climb the walls with cave moss in the Hope Springs goblin cave.
Sadie now knows when to stop betting in the casino. If you say no to a bet after saying yes before, she won't actually bet.
Fixed an issue where the Monster City Mashers - Topple the Leadership mission does not get marked as completed.
Fixed an issue where Sadie cannot travel to the Corbonary Rug Factory when she should.
The Isekai Cobbler actually has a few extra lines of dialogue at the end of the Shake down the Shakedown mission that you never got to see. Until now. Speak to him and learn his true secret.
Fixed an issue where the Sanitation Union strikers block Sadie from completing the Monster City Mashers trafficking mission.
v0.2.5
What's New
The Den of Thieves missions continue. We have six new missions across all four gangs, plus some goings-on with the police!
Sadie can test her mettle in a one-on-eight fight in the Slums. Go check out the suspicious alleyway on the eastern side of the map once she's dealt with the constables.
I've added a manual! Press "L" to open the manual. Why not "m"? Because past me assigned that key already.
Several buildings are now available during the course of play:
The Bone Zone in the Slums. Have you ever wondered where all of those dead bodies got off to?
U Betcha in the Entertainment District
The Lonely Hearts Inn in the Entertainment District. Talk to the Madame several times for the best effect.
The Tea House in the Slums
There are
four
new sexy scenes, as well as the normal spread of cheesecake images along the way.
All in all, this is approximately
3 hours
of new gameplay.
What's Better
I've added thousands of new NPC characters and faces, as I started re-using some of them and that felt awkward.
Behind the scenes, I've written out the script for everything in Act II. It's full speed ahead!
What's Fixed
The Gutter Rats starting mission is in the hostel located in the Adventurers' District. The quest previously indicated the Mercantile District. I've also fixed a couple of other missions with invalid hint locations. Please let me know if there are others it'd make sense to change!
Made the Orthodox Church easier to navigate.
Made the Casino easier to navigate.
Fixed a bug where Neemar might not appear in the Casino backroom.
Fixed a typo where Heev was named Zeev.
Fixed a bug where Sadie & co can travel back to the Rug Factory after burning it down.
Fixed a bug during the NSG shakedown mission where Sadie can transport to MCM Headquarters. She obviously can't, not without getting violently ill at least.
v0.2.4a
Bugfixes:
Fixed a bug in the Weapons Shop when the Monster City Mashers try to steal some goods.
Fixed a createLInearGradient error when trying to chop down some trees.
Sadie will no longer play Spiderman in front of D'Stran's Bookstore.
v0.2.4
What's new:
A new cast member joins your ranks! Welcome Mallory, a thief with a rough past. And, given who she's now hanging out with, probably a rough future as well.
The Den of Thieves includes nine more missions. Fight each of the four major criminal gangs in Svetlanda approximately 2 1/4 times apiece!
Sadie handles a new diplomatic mission: protect a Reform Church of Humanity priest. Or don't, whatever.
The Isekai Order is back with a new mission: recover the Tiara of Enchanted Wisdom, an ancient relic of the Isekai Hero's party.
Talk to the Powers that Be about Operation Ice Storm once Sadie collects enough clues.
Sadie goes gambling! Watch your money slowly disappear during simulated roulette because the house always wins! (Unless you save scum, in which case you're considered the house.)
Sadie also gets a new dress, because you can't go gambling without looking your best!
Rudimentary clothing options now exist. Sadie has three outfits available to her and will wear them at appropriate times. In the future, you will be able to change Sadie's outfit yourself.
You can now show and hide a quick view of Sadie in her current outfit. This view represents Sadie's feelings versus how she's actually showing off the clothes.
A message log is now available in case you missed or skipped past some relevant bit of dialogue.
New keyboard commands:
Press "c" on the keyboard to show or hide Sadie's pose in her current clothing. Press "c" again to hide the view.
Press "t" on the keyboard to view the quest log. Press Escape to exit the quest log.
Press "m" on the keyboard to view the message log. Press Escape to exit the message log.
Press "r" on the keyboard to clear images that got stuck on the screen because I keep forgetting to erase them when a scene ends. (But please keep letting me know when I do screw up so I can fix it!)
Several buildings are now available during the course of play:
The Bank in the Mercantile District
The Casino in the Entertainment District
McHugh's Pub in the Entertainment District
The Sticky Wicket in the Entertainment District
The Religious Museum in the Religious District. Lexi will even give you a guided tour!
There are
four
new sexy scenes, as well as the normal spread of cheesecake images along the way.
All in all, this is approximately
3 hours
of new gameplay.
What's better:
Sadie's succubus form transformation is now a free action, although you cannot use her fire-based magic until the next turn. This does at least make Succubus Form a much more enticing option for certain battles.
If Karin leaves your party for any reason and you have not finished her loyalty mission, she is gone forever. That's not better for you, but it does clean up an implementation detail that I kind of left hanging.
Sadie's shower sequences now feature a nude sprite. Same goes for when she sleeps in the Diplomatic Quarters.
Dinestra's Blow of Rage is now much more likely to enrage a foe and foes will stay enraged longer. Enraged foes will only attack--they will not cast spells or do other annoying things.
The original Eastern Highway bandit fight now has a much wider variety of mooks to kill, not just the same group of three Highwaymen over and over. Sorry about that.
The Isekai Order members will now have new things to say after each Isekai Order mission.
I've made a minor change to the awning on a building in the Textile District, so that Sadie can sneak around some boxes and Teamsters without waiting for a slow fellow to wander down the one-lane road.
New icons! I think they look pretty neat, but you be the judge.
What's fixed:
Fixed a bug on trying to exit a few buildings if you haven't completed the Protect a VIP mission yet. This includes the Mission in the Slums, R.L. Henderson and Son's warehouse, and Liquor Good.
Sadie's dialog with the Sanitary Union strikers now makes more sense if you have not started the Clear Sewer Rats mission from the Adventurers' Guild.
v0.2.3
What's new:
I have created a walkthrough! It's overly verbose, naturally, but my hope is that this will help people play the path they want and not miss
too
many things along the way. The walkthrough file in the main folder, one level above the SadieGetsALife folder.
The Den of Thieves main quest branches out! Take on six separate quests to help bring Svetlanda's slums under control, mostly through the application of intense violence.
Detective Sadie solves a whodunit for the Adventurers' Guild. Work closely(?) with the constables and recover stolen goods from a warehouse.
A new Diplomatic Quarters operation will have consequences for future negotiations with the Duke. Political consequences!
Sadie can now take on stealth missions, wearing her ultra-stealthy kunoichi outfit. Don't let those big, strong men catch her--who knows what they'll do? The answer is probably "die at her hand" but that'd make a lot of noise in the process.
Several buildings are now available during the course of play:
If Sadie has been a naughty enough girl, she can visit Liquor Good in the Academic District and maybe even pick up a coed!
Mercantile District - Adventurers' Hostel
Slums - Red Rose Inn
Noble District - Museum of Antiquities. Check this place out with Karin for another patented massive lore dump!
Slums - Mission in the Slums
Slums - Monster City Mashers Hall
There are
three
new sexy scenes, as well as the normal spread of cheesecake images along the way.
All in all, this is approximately
2 hours
of new gameplay.
What's better:
The Skills menu now shows the character name and image when displaying their current skills.
Reduced number of naughty acts to get Share Vitality down to 12. In general, I've been reducing the number of naughty acts a little bit for certain activities as, while using other peoples' savefiles to fix the many bugs I've introduced, I have noticed a tendency not to maximize Sadie's lascivious side.
What's fixed:
The conversation with Ellanon after the well mission now makes more sense.
Ellanon is no longer camping in the Crusty Nugget Inn when you arrive in town.
Fixed a message around blocked stairs in Act I's Murder House.
If Lexi has joined your party and it's not yet time to go to the Slums, she'll always be the one to warn you away instead of Ellanon.
Jericross only shows up outside of the Isekai Order HQ after you speak with him in the headquarters bar. Also fixed an order of operations error with his quest, preventing completion.
Fixed an issue (for real this time) where an image in the Slums would get stuck on screen.
Fixed some issues around a new plugin: performance slowdowns on some machines and error messages at the beginning of fights. RIP, that plugin.
If Sadie says no to the lizardman in Hope Springs, the image of the buff lizardman no longer permanently stays on screen as a reminder of what Sadie could have had.
Various minor improvements, like how Sadie crosses the Adventurers' District and Eastern Highway bridges.
v0.2.2
What's new:
The Den of Thieves main quest continues. Join Sadie as she meets with the Royal Thorns in the Slums.
An additional district has opened in Svetlanda: the Entertainment District. Businesses in the district will open up in later releases but you can travel into the district.
Sadie goes to church! The Orthodox Church and the Reform Church are now open to visitors.
Two new Adventurers' Guild quests are now available.
A new diplomatic mission allows Sadie to show off to the troops. Show off her fighting skills, not her body.
A new Isekai Order quest has Sadie and Jericross working through a full-sized dungeon. Help Sadie recover the Sword of Legendary Expectations.
There are three new sexy scenes, as well as the normal spread of cheesecake images along the way.
All in all, this is approximately
3
hours of new gameplay.
What's better:
Quests are now clearer on where to go and when. During lengthier quests (like one that is now available in this release), the quest description will give you a hint on where to go next.
I have reduced payouts of certain quests and enemies. This will keep Sadie from getting a little too comfortable with the money in her pocket.
What's fixed:
Sadie's Lust Withdrawal is permanent until she fixes the issue with the help of a few good men (or at least one of them). Sorry to anybody trying to create a lesbian-only route, but Sadie needs her vitamins.
The Svetlanda Corps of Engineers have added a new road from the Religious District into the Slums. The signpost was there but it wasn't quite hooked up in the prior release.
Dinestra's Point of Pride skill now activates 100% of the time. If you use the skill, she regains 10% of HP per turn.
The blood money in the Exorcise a Factory quest now disappears after you collect it once, like it should.
If Sadie observes some hinky behavior in the Slums and her number of naughty acts is low enough, an image may get stuck on screen. That has been fixed.
V0.2.1
What's new:
Gain an optional new party member: Karin the Arctic Fox. As a quick recommendation, make sure to complete both of Karin's two tasks or she might disappear on you.
Several new districts have opened up in Svetlanda, including the Religious District, the Textile District, the Noble District, the Academic District, and the Slums (though not much content is available in the Slums just yet).
Two buildings in the Mercantile District got a whole lot more interesting. You can visit D'Stran's Bookstore, which promises miles of books. Sadie has a lot to say and there might be a few good reasons to spend some time in the store browsing books. Also, the Police Substation is now available. Get an idea of how the constables of Svetlanda maintain proper order!
Additional Fast Travel endpoints have popped up, including one right in front of the Adventurers' Guild.
Sadie will learn how to use her succubus form in battle, and that will bring some unexpected benefits.
Sadie
might
learn how to share the largess of her Drain Vitality skill with teammates.
Sadie
might
take a closer interest in certain team members' romantic well-being.
Sadie will be able to reflect somewhat on her sexual conquests. This is not a recollection room (yet!) but is a way of keeping track of how many naughty activities Sadie has performed.
There are three new quests from the Adventurers' Guild.
There are two quests from the Isekai Order you can complete in this release, including the quest you're currently stuck on because I'm a monster who cuts off releases in the middle of a quest! After that, join Sabrina on a mission to kill demons.
This release begins the second phase of Sadie's adventures in Svetlanda: the Den of Thieves.
There are 3 new sexy scenes, plus a couple dozen additional cheesecake images scattered throughout this release.
All in all, this is approximately
2-3 hours
of new gameplay, maybe a little more if you go book browsing. Existing saves will continue to work with this new release.
What's better:
I've made some additional enemy updates. Enemies are now better at seeking out their target and initiating combat. They're still pretty dumb on the whole, though.
The Svetlanda Tourism Board has authorized the commissioning of the scenic views of Svetlanda as part of the Fast Travel Network. For any new Fast Travel crystals you unlock, you'll see a quick reminder of the area around the crystal for reference. For crystals you have already unlocked, go to sleep and when you wake up, you'll get to see their images as well.
Skill upgrades for certain skills that hit multiple characters will grow at their intended rates, generally 1 point per enemy combatant proc'd rather than 3 points per proc. Which is probably not better for you but is better for me.
What's fixed:
Neemar's Neat Trick skill was activating incorrectly. It will now succeed 100% of the time in granting Neemar the counter-attack ability. The counter-attack ability has a 60% chance of success on any strike targeted at Neemar. These two numbers were reversed, which is a bit of an oopsie on my part. The same goes for Dinestra's Point of Pride skill, which you probably don't have yet, but it's still fixed.
Sadie's Drain Vitality has been perfectly balanced in every way (i.e., nerfed pretty hard). The reason is that it was essentially a perpetual motion machine.
Bugfixes brought in from release 0.2.0.a:
The fellow searching for beans looking like the Leader won't trap Sadie against a wall anymore.
Dinestra hates contractions even more than before. She might let one slip every once in a while, but will feel like a failure afterward.
I finally learned how to spell "berserk" and "sergeant" correctly.
Sadie could partially scale certain bits of wall in the Smuggling Ring warehouse. This mission makes her angry, but not "climb the walls" angry.
Fixed an image getting stuck on the screen in Act I's Guild Hall if you decline an offer from Shelley.
v0.2.0
What's new:
The first part of Act II, entitled Diplomacy to the East.
Welcome to Svetlanda, the capital of the Eastern Duchy (itself a province of the Royal Kingdom of Greater Humanity)! You'll get to see the first parts of the city, including the Outskirts, the Adventurers' District, and the Mercantile District. More districts are forthcoming in later releases.
Get a new party member: Dinestra the Barbarian. She hates mages, lies, skim milk, overuse of contractions, and act-utilitarianism. She loves axes, honor, and the four cardinal virtues.
Sadie gets an assistant: Lexi the adorable catgirl! She'll become a much more important character as the game goes on, so we only get to see her a little bit in this release.
Lexi brings with her fast travel crystals. Travel around the city in style instead of needing to walk everywhere like a peasant! Fast travel is available near the end of this release's playable content.
Fight two set-piece battles, as well as some smaller fights.
Sadie can engage in seven new sexy scenes (AI CG). In addition, there are a few cheesecake images that will pop up along the way.
All relevant buildings in the cities will have blue text. Svetlanda is a huge city and Sadie won't be able to get into a lot of it because these people have locks on their doors, the weirdos. Note that I've backported this functionality to Hope Springs as well, in case you ever do another playthrough from the start.
All in all, this is approximately
1.5-2 hours
of new gameplay and your existing saves
will
work with the new release.
What's better:
Neemar the goblin is now recruitable throughout the first part of Act I if you missed him in the cavern. If you leave Hope Springs without him, well, he'll miss you.
The opening battles are now smaller in scale, particularly the Goblin Cave. This comes from early player feedback.
Enemies are now somewhat smarter in approaching and attacking Sadie. This will continue to get better as I suck less at RPGM development.
A "death's door" mechanic is now in place. There is the possibility that your characters may survive an otherwise-killing blow. You'll know it happens when the player "Survived a devastating blow!" I can't afford to hire Wayne June, though, so you'll just have to do the voice yourself.
If you are allowed to escape from a battle, the escape rate is 100%. In normal RPGM games, there's a probability that you don't escape and then life gets worse because you lose a turn.
For now
, the escape rate will be 100% unless there is some in-game reason why you aren't allowed to escape from a given battle. This may change later.
The game now supports gamepads! It might actually have supported gamepads in the initial release, but I've actually tested it for this one. I have tested this on an XBox controller and assume it should work reasonably well on other brands and types.
What's fixed:
Fixed black screen during Operation Fireball when meeting with Amerinth and Ellanon in the back of the castle.
Fixed issue in the schoolhouse night attack if you left Neemar out of the party.
Fixed a bug that would land you on the tavern roof because Sadie's a hard worker and maybe a hard drinker.
V0.1.5
All of Act I is complete--this is approximately 5 hours of story-driven gameplay
Over 200 (AI CG) images of various levels of spiciness
Several expectations subverted (mostly in a good way!)
Plenty of RPG-style combat
Alea iacta est2026-03-01★★★★★
Grind, grind, grind. The main character (MC) is lovely, and the story so far is credible, but what I really cannot cope with is the ultimate grind fest. Those combats that offer no value, enjoyment, or excitement are the main theme of the game. The dev should take a look at a game like Goblin Slayer, where the developer smartly added a cheat/menu option for players who want to enjoy the story rather than grind through silly combats and potion collection. The adult part of it?! I couldn't reach any meaningful scene, so I can't judge the quality or depth of those scenes at all. If you're a pre-teen or teenager with a lot of free time on your hands and you don't mind silly combat mechanics in an adult game, then give it a try. For those who actually like adult games… there is very little adult content here.

The five stars might be a bit of an exaggeration, as the game's combat isn't particularly special (I mean, it's better than RPGM base fare, but only by one step). The sex scenes aren't particularly amazing art, either (I mean, it is generated). But the writing is amazing and second to none. And while I usually tend towards fucked over female protagonists who get into some distressing situations, which is a mold this game's protagonist, Sadie, most assuredly doesn't fit, she is exceptionally well realised in her own right (that there is no disconnect between the Very Powerful Protagonist having to Work As a Barmaid and Get Groped as is usually the case helps with immersion, too). The game has a gradual 'Corruption' (really the wrong term, but whatever) path that the narrative nudges the player towards without forcing things. And I found it rather remarkable I ended up naturally drifting towards this slow corruption from the player's PoV, rather than acting against it to get scenes. Avoiding scenes at the start, but the narrative supporting a more aggressive sexuality later on. Other characters are just as well realised, and so is the world itself, with a remarkable attention to detail and enjoyable sense of humour that never actually goes overboard. It isn't a perfect game. Neither gameplay nor art can be considered the top of the heap. But ultimately, what counts isn't what groundbreaking features a game has, but how much the player enjoys a game, regardless of how innovative it may or may not be. And I happen to enjoy this game a very great deal indeed.

Story was kinda funny but not a standout. Porn scenes were pretty good for AI art. Unfortunately, it's more grind than it is game or porn. Every enemy is tanky and they throw a lot of them at you before you can progress. Spent two hours and got one scene out of it.

Game has heart and soul, which is more then most games have. Is the premise something new and amazing? No. The gameplay? No. The plot? No. So why did I give it 5 stars then? Well, its simple. Lets be real for a moment - you do not play porn games for great story, amazing gameplay or fresh and unique takes on w/e. You are here for the erotic content. The erotic content so far is good with a humerous twist on it - with the humour not being overbearing and leaving the writing space to explore not just humerous scenes, but tonally different ones as well. And yes, gameplay, story etc do matter, but always through the lense of this being an adult game. And this is where this game is shining. It knows it uses a silly and overdone premise with truck-kun... but it puts it into an erotic context and uses the isekai trope mostly to save on long and boring exposition you would otherwise have to slog through. And that is a pretty good reason for a porn game to use a trope.
