Shadows Over Solomon Falls is an erotic game inspired by TV shows like Twin Peaks, Haven, Fringe and other horror mystery or sci-fi shows. It is set in the small town of Solomon Falls. You play a woman (there is also an alternate transgender start) whom you can name and arrive in town to solve the mysterious disappearance of a girl named Lisa Patterson. You quickly discover all is not as it seems and solving her disappearance may be your only chance to stop the slow corruption of the town and yourself before it is too late!

Fixed a fairly major bug from the last update. New players don't need to worry about it but it did necessitate me adding in a scene where the PC picks their suspects again.
Fixed a bug where the player can get stuck in the Sheriff's office if they're late to work. Or go in when it's their day off.
If you weren't being blackmailed by Ray and had the key on Saturday, you could be blackmailed by him but I did the day calculation wrong. That should be fixed now so Ray blackmail will happen on Monday as it should.

New hypnosis events!
You can now search Riley's room if you have the maid job!
Tweaks:
Character creation has been changed to be more narrative in nature and engaging.
The first day in town has been changed quite a bit. Dialogues have been cleaned up and many of the renders have been redone. Janice now has a secret to learn among other
changes and in general the early game pushes the theme of the game better with the unsettling supernatural elements being more obvious. It now pushes you to meet Amber and
Lisa's parents before it opens up into the sandbox. This is to make sure players have met them and to keep the early game more focused.
Many renders have been redone. All characters have had their skin and eyes tweaked to look better. Lighting is generally improved in many of the renders.
I tweaked the skin and eye settings on all characters. I also redid every single picture that comes up when a character is talking.
I made it harder to steal the key from the Patterson's home. This is because you could, with the right stats, automatically succeed in stealing the key and have no
chance to get the blackmail route.<br>
If you decide not to pay for a secret with Carlo (with sex or money!) he now allows you to try for the same secret again if you visit him the next day instead of it being lost for
all time.
Masterbation now goes to its own screen instead of embedding in the bedroom screen. It also has all new renders!
It is no longer possible to fail to get inside the Patterson home as this task is too important.
Ray's blackmail now happens on the same day you meet him if it happens.
Jill's date now happens on the day after you meet her. This allows you to have an event each night through Thursday if you meet her on the first day.
The transgender dream sequence has been expanded! It's not a bit more horrific and lasts longer, showing the changes in more detail!
Mark's date has had an expansion. You now have the chance to ask him several more questions about Lisa and learn new secrets!
The roll to resist drug addiction is now based on willpower, not athletics and it lowers willpower.
Bug fixes:
Mayor's missing job event for Thursday added!
Many, many bug fixes from broken secrets to broken pictures and more.
May spelling and grammar fixes.
Deputy Lucas Parker has been in the notebook as Deputy Lucas Bryant all this time! Fixed!
Version 0.22
The word count is now around 121,000 words!
Bug fixes:
Many, many bug fixes.
Jill's date should consistently show up in your notebook now after you accept it from her.
Tweaks:
I went back and rewrote some of the earlier content. No huge changes, mostly just polishing and looking for spelling mistakes.
New content:
First date with Jill!
v0.2.1
The word count is now around 108.000 words!
Bug fixes:
Fixed a bug that could cause the days to advance by 2 if you stayed out too late. Reset the day to the correct day should this bug have happened to a player.
Fixed a bug with the last dream that didn't properly advance the player to the next dream.
Fixed a bug that caused the date reminders for Mark and the Jill to never show..
Tweaks:
New way of doing skill checks makes it much easier for me. Special thanks to Scyne!
Inventory and Notebook pop up in their own dialogue boxes now. This fixes an issue where a player might explore them then get stuck with no way back to their original page.
I did some streamlining of events. This won't impact the players but makes it easier for me to add news one and makes things less cluttered.
I've added some code that should remove the chance that your first meeting with a character is interupted by your character deciding she needs sleep.
New content:
New secret from Carlo!
Breakfast scenes added in! New scene with Sean at breakfast if you also ran into him during a meal in the B&B!
New dream!
New job content! The Mayor's content changes based on your interactions with Ray!
All new location replaces an old location! Creepy!
You can get addicted to drugs if you're on the undercover job!
First date with Mark!
The most recent changes should be in the game itself.
Version 0.2.a
-This is a bugfix release. I also increased the save slots to 20.
Version 0.2
The word count is now around 91.000 words!
Bug fixes:
A few small bugs I found while testing were fixed.
I fixed a bug with Mark's intro where if you acted submissively it set a non-existent variable because of a mispelling. Oops!
Tweaks:
Sitting on benches in the park or on the promenade now gives variable energy back depending on how long you sit there. For 1 hours it is 5 energy all the way up
to 20 energy if you sit there for 4 hours. Passing time in your bedroom works the same way and now also returns energy.
The energy for moving around has been totally removed. The energy for using skills has been slightly increased.
You can now critically succeed or fail at skill tasks! This will have very good or bad effects if it happens!
New content:
New dream! You get to find out what the mysterious voice is and if you're playing TG ask the being in your dreams about it!
You can now eat a meal in the B&B. To do so go to the B&B entry. This can be done once a day and restores some energy.
The first time you eat in the B&B you get another event with Sean. It changes based upon how you reacted to him in the hallway
and somewhat based on if you're a born female or TG
Second day for the various jobs added!
New secrets from Carlo and new hypno events with the doctor and priest!
New event at the clothing store! Note, you'll see it automatically if you are working for the mayor.
A new character is introduced at the library and another one at the docks!
New event exclusive to transgender characters!
Ray's blackmail event!
Version 0.1.1.a
Bug fixes:
Visual bug when talking to the mayor about being his personal assistant has been fixed. Thanks Gwen and the others on the Twine Games discord!
The first time you visited the diner, eating a meal left you with no way to exit or talk about the waitress job. That's fixed now. Oops!
Fix bugs having to do with the doctor's hypno session and a small bug in the Sheriff's talk.
Tweaks:
Removed the energy cost for going from your bedroom to the entry area or the outside of the b&b and vice versa. Moving around the B&B no longer costs energy at all.
Removed the energy cost for going in and out of the motel room.
Lowered the energy cost for moving from place to place from 5 to 3.
Work "under the hood" to streamline some code. Thank you Gwen for pointing it out to me!
Version 0.1.1
Bug fixes:
Numerous small bugs. Notably, I forgot to set up a notebook page for Lou if you work as a waitress. That has been fixed.
If you saw the doctor and let her hypnotise you it didn't have the full intended affect. This is fixed and should also
update on old saves when you see her for the second time.
Tweaks:
Minor tweaks to the start page including adding the awesome logo by TRBRY
Some images are no longer rounded, such as the polaroids of the characters in the notebook.
Changed the pages to have much less or no scrolling. The trade off is links to continue the story.
New content!
Maid Job added: Meet Mister Van Horn in the diner and then go to his manor if you want it. Note: Transgender
characters will need to be more feminine to accept the job but they can still talk about it with him.

[[Rating is based on version 0.4]] Just finished the latest version of Shadows Over Solomon Falls and wow, this game is a ride. From the first minute, it grabs you and doesn’t let go. It proudly wears its TV inspirations on its sleeve while still feeling like its own strange, rotten organism. Everything clicks together in a way that keeps you curious and invested. Playing the game puts you in the middle of the mystery. Whether you pick Rachel or opt for the trans start, you genuinely feel like you’re piecing things together as you go. You arrive to investigate a missing girl, and the game gradually peels back layers until both the town, and your character, stop being what they once were. The narrative occasionally nudges you toward certain beats, but the tone and momentum keep you fully engaged throughout. The writing is top-notch, reading like a fully realized book rather than a string of disconnected scenes. The atmosphere hits immediately: the town is off, the people are off, and a creeping tension never lets up. Vivid descriptions, realistic dialogue, and small details, from character reactions to environmental cues, pull you into the town’s twisted rhythm, making every corner feel lived-in and unsettling. The mix of moody mystery and slow-burn sci-fi horror is perfectly balanced, and the mystery of Lisa Patterson’s disappearance keeps you hooked. With its depth, careful pacing, and evident passion behind the story, it’s easy to lose yourself in the town’s secrets and the strange events shaping your character. Gameplay it's an odd but satisfying hybrid. Early sandbox freedom lets you explore jobs, flirt, and interact with NPCs, while life-sim elements like skill checks and side loops make the world feel tangible. Some mechanics, like money, are underused, but the narrative more than compensates. Character creation is robust, letting you customize your main character’s personality and even choose a transgender start, a rare and appreciated option. Choices throughout the game feel meaningful, affecting dialogue, romance options, branching routes, and interactions with the town’s darker elements. The corruption system is a standout feature: fully integrated into story beats, interactions, and even sex scenes, it makes your decisions impactful and changes who your character becomes, giving each playthrough a distinct experience. Visually, the game is solid. The renders aren’t flashy, but they consistently hit the right tone and atmosphere, capturing the creepy small-town horror vibe while supporting steamy elements. The UI is tidy and comfortable for an HTML game, making navigation smooth and enjoyable. While the visuals aren’t over-the-top, they complement the story and mood seamlessly. Adult content is thoughtfully integrated. Sex scenes are varied, steamy, and fully tied to the story, never feeling like interruptions. There’s also an option to skip more intense content, showing careful planning. You can play straight, lesbian, or mix it up, and the game responds with different reactions. The adult content is woven into character arcs, which gives the game replay value beyond just seeing different sex scenes. If you’re looking for a game with a deep story, memorable characters, and some seriously spicy action, Shadows Over Solomon Falls is a must-play. Its moody mystery, psychological twists, and slow-burn corruption arc keep you invested, and every choice and interaction adds tension and intrigue. The branching paths give each playthrough a unique flavor, and it’s clear that a ton of passion has been poured into this original indie NSFW experiment.
v0.4 Had this game downloaded for ages and finally decided to play through it. I was absolutely enthralled by it at the start, I love horror themes mixed with corruption. As the game progressed, I realised that the sandbox elements and player freedom get less and less as you continue through the days, and this was a bummer, though it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. I understand that the Dev's vision about the gameplay changed as the whole sandbox thing was too demanding to code. But kudos for giving a try, as often HTML sandbox games turn into absolute grindfests or barren links of "WIP" pages. The little sandbox that was in this one, worked pretty well in my opinion. Generally I liked everything that was there, though I would have hoped for more creepy horror elements and more content (sex included). The corruption pace is just perfect for my taste considering how short the game ended up being. Will definitely be back to check for future updates though.
[0.4] Pro: -Very good world, about mystery, fantasy-elements, paranormal investigaton. (Reminds me of Alan Wake, but goes in different witchy directions, really nice.) -A lot of Npc's, and you can interact with a lot of them, but also avoid them if you want. -Corruption-system that works with the story, you have to be more careful than in other games. -Multiple endings, multiple path's, multiple ways of reaching the same goals. -Good art, atmospheric renders, and good UI (graphics look a bit old, but the UI and the atmosphere are really nice. It does not have animations, but the writing is good and not annoying.) -Witchy elements (Nice alternative to other witch-games that parodize harry potter, because this is really dark and mysterious. It contains topics of magic, supernatural beings, witch hunts and burnings, familiars, ghosts, dreams, and more.) -Variety of sex-scenes, you could play full straight, or full lesbian if you want, both has content, I found a good middle-ground of both, and was still able to avoid the jerks that I didn't like. Also has Trans-start-option in addition to that. -Writing is really good, it has the quality of a book sometimes. Sometimes it's too much, even a book wouldn't tell you so much details, but it's mostly avoidable because of the question/answer system of npc's, and maybe you want to read it. -Investigation elements, like notes, collecting clues, following hints, confront suspects, talking with others about the case and getting alone in dangerous situations. Contra: -Life-sim-elements only half done: The life-simulation-mechanics are not fully usable. You can earn money in 3 different jobs at the start, but you can't spend it. There is is a clothing-shop and a general store, but for both you don't need money. Money would make the game much more interesting. I would also like to switch between the jobs, to not miss the content of the other 2 options. -Heavy text focus: After the first week, the Visual novel that is based on daily jobs and tasks, turns into a huge 'reading only' part. Sometimes you can ask an npc 5 question, and each answer is half to full screen of text. This also shows the strengths, because most written parts are perfect, and the qustions/answers are rich, but also skippable, and make the npc's and the world better. The life-sim will maybe continue in future updates, so reading the huge text-parts is absolutely worth, but if it's possible to reduce the amount somehow it would be very nice. -Some Npc's are not interactable with. A strength is the huge amount of different npc's so naturally there are still some you can not interact with, and some have only short stories. There are still 3 beautiful women I wanted to romance, but none of them was interactable [0.4]. The other choices were still very good. -Some auto-pilot parts, where you can't play, and explore alone. For horror and story-parts this is good, it makes it more thrilling and interesting to get surprised by Npc's instead of searching them. Some story-parts are awkward, you would maybe have decided to not do that if you would have had a choice about it, but these are only some minor parts [0.4].
This is on version 0.4. Shadows Over Solomon Falls is really a very decent book. The game has a lot of quite interesting lore and story to it, along with a respectable number of characters that, while not very deep, have enough personality to them to make them not feel completely fake. The problem with the game is that, well, the story hasn't made the transfer to game format very well. There are tons of events that suddenly occur and railroad you into sequences to introduce characters or plot points. You can go to the town square like you do every day except this time you're suddenly pulled into a lengthy exposition sequence where story beats are explained to you. This isn't a game where you choose to go into a building and meet the people there, it's one where the game decides it's time for you to meet those people and warps you into the building, regardless of your pre-existing intent to do something else. There's an inherent issue with that in, well, this is a mystery game, where the main character is supposed to be investigating the mystery. These character introductions and events interrupting the game in the way they do means the player is not the driving force behind the investigation, they're merely a passenger on whatever whims the game decides to throw at them. And boy, does it have a lot of whims. So overall, the characters are "okay", the story is "okay", the way the player advances and interacts with the story and characters isn't so much "okay". Primary commentary about the game out of the way, here are some additional notes: - I really like that the transgender option at the start is an option. A lot of people seem to be into trans characters these days, personally not my thing. It doesn't seem like it makes many changes to the dialogue, but the effort towards accessibility is appreciated. - Visuals are pretty good. Male characters tend to look funny, just overly excited facial expressions all the time, but otherwise I have no criticisms on it. - Fantastic effort put towards the choice in player outfits being visually respected. Multiple renders of the same scenes just with switched outfits are common, that's good work right there. Shadows Over Solomon Falls does quite a good job at doing exactly what it wants, but if the player's desire differs at all from the title's, they'll find it to be almost completely unmalleable.
This story had me HOOKED from start to current end, and MC & Eric are hot as fuck (especially when they're together). I also like how there's a balanced mix of male and female characters for more varied sex scenes and a lot of content no matter the path you pick. Can't wait for the update!
[v0.33a] Length: About 6 hours for one playthrough Good: + Amazing and captivating story with good and unique characters + Great atmosphere of mystery and supernatural things + Lots of choices + It is even possible to choose how MC feels in different situations, thus shaping MC's personality in different ways + Good MC corruption + Despite being a html game, great UI, better than a good chunk of renpy VNs Neutral: = It's possible to resist corruption, you'll get less scenes, but it makes sense story-wise and you'll see plenty of sex scenes anyway. = Few horror elements, but for me it is even better that way. Bad: ?? not found any, game is too great
Review is for v0.33a A really incredible game. The characters are all interesting and unique enough. The story is incredible, and the choices (at least so far) feel impactful and interesting. It's really drawn me in and I can't wait to see what happens next. Now on to the game play. While there are some choices to be made on where to go at certain times, a lot of the game feels more like a choose your own adventure type of game. Nothing wrong with that, and it actually fits together nicely. When it comes to the art, there's really nothing to write home about. It's good enough to not distract, but is really just a couple of renders and that's it. As for the smut, and whole reason we play these games. It's actually pretty good. The scenes are spread out nicely and with a variety of characters. The scenes are a little short for the amount if images that are here, but I personally like less text, so .... All in all there really isn't anything to complain about, some more renders would be nice since it's not going the porn clip route, but everything else is immaculate.
A really well written game, so much so that despite the heavy NSFW elements I hesitate to call it a porn game! While it takes obvious inspiration from Twin Peaks and obvious..... Entire Character Designs from Deadly Premonition, a lot of the elements feel unique and fun, Well worth a playthrough of the existing content if you haven't yet!
The Shadows Over Solomon Falls is absolutely remarkable. The player assumes the role of a young woman named Rachel, who, like her father, is interested in paranormal phenomena. One day, Rachel receives an anonymous letter about the disappearance of a young girl. Our protagonist decides to go to the town to solve this mystery. Shadows Over Solomon Falls by WendyTheRed's is inspired by the great TV story Twin Peaks, Haven and Fringe, with an element of psychological thriller with a dash of eroticism. At the beginning, we create Rachel's psychological outline, which allows us to interfere with the story in several different ways. Each decision has different consequences, which only enriches plot. Upon Rachel's arrival in town, she immediately notices that something is wrong with the people of Solomon Falls. Citizens behave strangely. To make matters worse, at night Rachel delves into another dimension haunted by nightmares that affect her real world as it did in the horror movie A Nightmare on Elm Street. Daily life or dream at night, the life of Rachel and the inhabitants of Solomon Falls is on the edge of the blade, because decisions you make will not only affect Rachel, but also the inhabitants of the mysterious town.... Choice and consequences, think carefully before you make a decision. And yes, I found myself smiling as I was delve into the story, but also shed a tear.
Great game! Good graphics, good dialogue. Interesting, very non-linear story which allows the game to be played several times. Advanced statistics which really influence the gameplay. Great mysterious mood. I advise it to everybody.
Just found this game today and it is absolutely excellent. It has almost everything and ticks almost all of my boxes. I'm a big fan, and I can't wait to see what future updates bring. I hope they come regularly, but the replayability of it means I'll be able to occupy myself in the meantime.
This game is awesome. Inspired heavily by Twin Peaks, the protagonist travels to a mysterious and supernatural town to solve the disappearance of a young girl. The writing is fantastic, the plot is engaging, the sex scenes steamy, and the pacing in both corruption and general narrative is perfect. Frequent user input and meaningful choice, absolutely no grind or filler. What has me most excited is the replay-ability. What job you select spawns different story paths, and how interact with other characters molds the MC's personality. Cautious submissive, unscrupulous whore, dominant lesbian, the game fully supports all types of playthroughs and does not force or encourage a certain MC build. I am a big fan of female MC games and do not know how I am just finding out about this game now. It avoids all the common pitfalls of the genre and provides a fresh and fun experience. Shot to the top of my favorite games in development and I will eagerly await future updates.
This is one of the best games I have played on this site. At it's core, this is a corruption game. The protagonist gets to explore a world full of magic, solve a mystery, and there is tons of great, hot sex. There is even a doctor in town that mentions breast implants. Guys, this might be a low key bimbofication game! Rare on this site. The game is beautiful. The renders and locations are gorgeous. The rpg elements feel natural and not like they were tacked on because that is what a game requires. I support their art on Patreon. That is how good this game is.
Okay, my review is for v0.23, have to wait a few days to play v0.24. So far, this game have been very intriguing with a great atmosphere and potential to be a fantastic game. The art is absolutely beautiful, the interactions steamy, and pacing is great. Even though there is only a week of game time, there is clearly a build up to something with many of characters. I personally enjoy the corruption of the MC as she falls for one or more of the dominant characters in game. My favorites are definitely Riley and the Doctor, and as a Lezdom appreciator, I wish there is more interaction with the deputy Overall, this is a promising entry and I look forward to the update!
Overall, a unique game in the horror/thriller genre. I like the stunning visuals and scenes. I have high hopes for the story's future. The plot forks right away, considering various ways to the goal. You will have a distinct experience depending on the attributes you select, the job you accept, and, maybe most significantly, how you act. The game's hints assist the first-time player in understanding what needs to be done. Overall, I enjoy this game a lot.
Am in love with this game am looking forward for the full game it's going to be fantastic ☺ Am also hoping to play More games from her , she has good taste. Also it's just better than most other games I played that got abandoned
