Welcome to Studio Sensation, a narrative-driven management game set in the early 2000s, where you lead a charm photography studio aiming for success through emotion, aesthetics, and clever planning. Dayzee is now available for everyone and has reached its goal of 15 models. The model pool is starting to become more diverse.
The 0.5.x branch ends with this version; all the basics are in place.
This version includes shooting statistics, however, they are not retroactive.
The image preview screen and model details are finally available. Stella indicates which models are suitable for special requests, and there are a few other improvements.

A major overhaul has been done on the shooting screen; you can now zoom in on SD photos more effectively (from x1.5 to x2.0). The same applies to photos that have already been unlocked.
Also on this screen, contracts now better highlight the relative importance of the two skills. It's now easier to see what matters, and if you're using a staff that modifies skills, you'll see it directly in the model's stats in the bottom right corner. This is ideal for knowing if the chances are slim or if you're confident you'll get a great shot with a cool artistic direction. Finally, Stella offers overall statistics for all photoshoots. However, if your save file remains compatible, the statistics are not retroactive.
In addition to a few backend changes, castings are now scheduled daily, rather than when you organize them.

In addition to a few visual and mechanical additions, the event system is operational.
It currently has about ten events, some triggered based on specific criteria, others completely random.
To test, Zoey will join your model pool via this system; no casting required. And since she'll need a replacement, meet Stella, your new executive assistant...
For now, it's not much, but the mechanic opens the door to future new possibilities, and random missions are possible in the future.

Another addition in this update is an overhaul of the photo calculation method. Presence is now more important for the initial styles, while flexibility is required for the more subjective styles.
And with some bug fixes and small visual additions, work has been done on textures; micro-freezes should be less impactful.

The game is a smart model for how to use AI art. The images are well chosen so far. Right now stress accumulates quickly, money slowly, and though there are some options on how to do different shoots, there isn't a lot of gameplay / interesting choices yet. Something to revisit in the future. Edit: I decided to give it a second go. If you just do some easy photo shoots and collect some extra models through castings, then you can develop a decent roster and rotate them for shooting. It's still a little unclear which staff to bring and mostly a gambling/grinding game, but it's a little better than I thought. You also start each game with different models which helps replayability.
