Succubless

The AI voiceover is distractingly bad. There are plenty of voice actresses around, there's no way none of them could fit the dev's budget. This is not cheap on steam. (BTW, AI still moans if you turn off the voice volume) Dialogue is bad, our character is incredibly annoying, so are pretty much all of the girls, they keep making bad quips mid sex scene... why? Highly reccomend using an autoclicker to skip dialogue. Card game is very annoying to play, there aren't really ways to test your build, but i usually don't like those kinds of game, so takethis with a grain of salt. Art is good, no complaining, I'm a sucker for 2d. This is the only reason why this game doesn't get a minimum score.

Succubless is a card battle game developed by Supa Doge where the protagonist is stranded in a fancy resort full of “monster” girls. The AI art is quite impressive, smooth and detailed enough without the visual grossness usually accompanied by a generic, soulless effect. Each model is a feast for different tastes, but their personalities are annoyingly similar. The dialogue immediately stands out as embarrassingly bad, filled with endless comedy quips that do not land and never seem to end, moving at a snail’s pace while offering very little to the player in character development or contributing to the scene in question. It was probably written by AI as well. That would also explain the nonsensical story and the way everyone behaves. The gameplay follows a card battle with very light erotic themes and next to no strategy behind it and an autoplay option. Even the cards themselves feel uninspired. After winning a couple of times and enduring hundreds of pointless lines of dialogue, you get a scene with the girl, and that is the game. Besides the top tier AI art polished to perfection, Succubless does not have much to offer as entertainment. I am sure that with more effort this card game could have been quite interesting, but judging by the developer’s other AI created games, this feels more like a mass-produced conveyor belt.

Middle of the road card game, not much customizing to do as all 3 "elements" more or less do that same thing. I wish there was a way to remove the futa character as he gets too much screentime for someone not into that. And fighting him isn't optional. Art otherwise was pretty good, and it's good enough for you to want to see it through at least for a few battles.

The game is boring, tedious, and uninteresting. It only looks good in screenshots, but the actual game is bad. The gameplay is also uninteresting and dull. There's also an AI voiceover, which I don't have a problem with in itself, but it's terrible here. The only thing that looks good is the characters, but only until you start the game. The text is boring, flat, long, and tedious. I absolutely do not recommend it.

The gay futa nonsense of the one girl is not optional. Presentation is clean and solid and there is a lot of voiced dialogue (to much voiced dialogue) and its nowhere near the quality of a pro like Bordeaux Black who did Demi in Subverse. Quite a bit of it there but it mostly feels kinda random. Animations are like B-tier, good looking but little dynamic. The card game is a ressource mill game that you can run on auto play. There is better, there is worse.

Both of these stars are for art and character design. Honestly wanted to give it one, but it is very pretty. Writing is abysmal, reminds me of a kid trying to tell a story. Jumps all over the place, awful sentence structure and repeating the same phrase over and over. Probably unedited AI scripts. Characters are cardboard cutouts. Card game is fine I guess, but just as flat as the rest.
