Parasite Echo is a love letter to classic survival horror — a third-person, story-rich experience where every bullet counts, every door creaks with dread, and every shadow hides something waiting to infect you. First Release
All in all, the game offers a solid foundation. It’s fun to play, and the puzzles are well-designed. There are still some game-breaking bugs, but they’re being fixed with each update. The voice acting still feels a bit AI-generated, but it’s perfectly fine given the game’s current stage of development.
A very promising project, honest man's Code Violet, but at this stage it's borderline unplayable. I don't know what was the author inspired by, but like just every "PRORPGMAKERIWANNABEOCTOPATH" and "MYPLATFORMERTAKESSKILLSYAH" needs to learn - people play these games for a very different reason. I will repeat again and again, there are tons of mods for Skyrim, Witcher, GTA - rule 34 exists for a reason. If people wanted to play a GAME, with story, difficulty, but also a nice ass that can maybe be scripted into a pose or two - THERE ARE GAMES FOR THAT. I wanted to say that "good shit" in this game takes a while to get to - but I couldn't get even there. I got softlocked. Game has limited and unreplenishable health and, much worse - totally limited ammo that if you save, you softlock. And given that the game doesn't, for whatever reason, allow me to have 2 savefiles\backup - I can't even revert back without restarting the whole thing, and I do NOT tolerate backtracking. Funny, it gives you a knife that you can use on one door thing, and immediately throws enemies at you that you can only shoot, and that take seemingly random amount of shots. So... yeah, I hoped to see a scene or two, praise the usage of urinal engine 5 and not some blender, but... how can I praise something so unplayable that it hides anything remotely good behind some worthless story with levels and whatnot.
Visuals: The game looks pretty good. I think the design of the alien stuff is pretty neat. The way the jumpsuit wobbles with the character's ass and breasts is pretty distracting though. Looks like she's covered in a tattoo rather than clothes. Porn Content: Really lacking after two hours of play. I came here for alien sex and didn't get much. I saw the dev mention working on enemy grabs, but I have to wonder why these weren't a priority? I hoped it might be more of a slow corruption story, but I'm not sure that's the case either. Writing: The dialogue in this game seems to avoid hitting my eardrums. I found it increasingly impossible to pay attention or care about what the characters were saying. The text in the logs similarly makes my eyes want to dart away. I think part of this is the incredibly flat delivery from the AI generated voice, but the text isn't written well either. Unfortunately, this game is pretty talky. I get the impression the text is largely AI generated as well. If you didn't care to write it, why should I care to read it?
This is the most uninspired game I've played in the longest while. It is as much of a "love letter" towards survival horror games as Silent Hill is a hot tourist destination. Like that one? Don't care if you do, but it was written by AI. You know what else was made using AI? Go figure. It is uncertain of what it is: being too serious for a simple NSFW game and to light for a nice survival-horror one. A lot of dialogue is nonsensical, puzzles and their solution are at most 10 meters apart, the friggin' crates have AI-generated text upon then, there is absolutely nonexistent atmosphere and to top it all off, this game has on of the most unsexy characters, seriously, 99% of nude mods are better. And I didn't even get to fight anything, cause the elevator has bugged out!
[v0.0.25] This is kind of a weird one, because the game is good, but not in the way you might think. Well, what do I mean by that? Simply put, it's a fun and interesting 3rd person survival horror game. By the time I reached the end, I found myself wanting to play more. I enjoyed the shooting, the puzzles, the story, and the atmosphere. So, what's the problem? It's not a very good h-game. In fact, out of all the things the game does, I'd say the H stuff is where it falls short the most. The scenes are short, few and far between, and feel stiff, and lack any meaningful dialogue or anything interesting at all, from a h-game perspective. On top of that, some scenes come out of nowhere and blind side you when you're, honestly, just trying to enjoy the atmosphere and genuinely play the game. *cough cough* masturbation scene. So the game feels torn in two directions. On the one hand, it wants to be a serious survival horror game, and on the other, it wants to be an H-game. So how can it fix this? There's the easy/pussy way to do it, which is to add an nsfw filter in the options. And the second and better way? Make all the H content optional and up to the player whether they see it or encounter it. Don't have a random masturbation scene play out of nowhere because the player walked down a hallway. Maybe don't have the way you upgrade your health be to jack a dick. So how could they do this? Maybe have them tied to the collectable cards, maybe have it tied to a bed in the safe room via a gallery system, maybe have it through defeat scenes. Just put it in places where the player can tell it's coming, so they don't get their immersion shattered when they're not in "beat it" mode and trying to play the game for real. Honestly, if I had to pick between one of the game's two sides to be removed entirely, gun to my head, I'd pick the H side. I'd rather take the survival horror side. Like if it was just the survival horror side with slightly more risqué/lewd stuff, but no actual H content, I'd take that in a heartbeat. But putting that long rant aside, how's the game as is? All in all, it's great. Aside from the h content on offer, I love it. Like I said, it's fun to play and it has a solid foundation, with a lot of features I like. Like the game is voiced, even though it's not tagged as such. It's AI, but I like it. It's not the best, but it's not terrible either, and it's better than nothing. I wish more games did this. I think it's an amazing feature. The combat is fine for a survival horror game, and the guns sound really good. The pistol packs a real punchy sound. The puzzles are not too easy and not too hard, and are fun to do. Another massive plus. Sadly, the female lead, Cira, isn't super attractive, and I hope the dev works on that. I can't quite explain why, it's more of just a face thing and a dead eyes thing. The game does have a small amount of customizations, being hair and clothes, but I hope this system gets expanded upon in future updates, because I really like it. What are some things I'd like to see? Body customization/body sliders for stuff like breasts and buns (I honestly think her breasts are too big and I'd like to scale them down, but that's just a me thing), hair and eye color options, and maybe even skin tones. Or better yet, tanlines. I'd also like to see a lot more options in the settings. Like keybinds, sprint and crouch toggles, stuff like that. QoL features basically. So, should you play this game? If you want to wank, no. If you want a nice survival horror game, yes. Side note, I wish the dev would allow the game to be played on Steam. Preferably for free, like here on f95, until a full release. The dev really needs backing on Patreon and Subscribestar, so having the game on Steam without a paywall for admission would help them with that a lot. Think of it this way, before playing the game, I didn't know anything about it, and therefore didn't want to give the dev any money. Now, after playing it and seeing how awesome it is, I'd like to hit them up on Patreon. If the game were on Steam and free, this same effect would happen, but on a larger scale. Just saying. Pros: -great survival horror -nice puzzles -nice atmosphere -interesting story, so far -solid foundation, not too buggy, at least it wasn't for me -clothes and hair customization options -laser crosshair, like classic RE games -generally just an enjoyable game to play -AI voice acted -real-time clothing damage Cons: -h content across the board -random appearances of h content, i.e., like when walking down a random hallway -nsfw content is a little too on the nose sometimes and can kinda kill the vibe -just not a very good h game in general -Enemies fall through the floor when killed
Good stuff. Not far along yet. While it owes much of its existence to another similarly named and themed game, there's no denying that this is fun in its own right. It's one of the better 3D adult games.
It's kay, it's another game in the weirdly repeated subgenre of "spooky thirdperson sci fi porn game with tentacleish monsters" but this one is deeply unsexy because there's lots of babys and dead bodies and the characters are weirdly low res - like we don't even have nipple geometry I could not make it to a scene as the game softlocked on a scene transition after I knifed a guy who wanted to die, which made me share their desire to be released from this mortal coil
Rating is purely based on potential. At the moment this is a 1 or 2. There are mechanics that could pan out. Graphics are good besides some low quality assets that are over used (wall/floor panel corners with the padlock image in particular stand out, picky but easy fix and the view from the windows into space is a repeated image, small details separate games). Physics seem to be there although player movement is a bit rigid. Weird camera adjustment with lockers. Content next to none. Ai voice isn't a problem, but could use tweaking to sound more natural. Save rooms, potential to combine inventory materials, clothing options, status overview, and equipables all seem to show promise. Character stat screen in the menu could go a long way. Ultimately this has several mechanics working in its favor and several more that could bring it to another tier. Overall it is a game to watch, but due to lack of conent I would suggest waiting for a couple releases or more before testing.
Unfortunately, update 0.15 was a big disappointment for me. It's good that the developer realized their mistake and tried to add their own ideas, but the changes only hurt the game. +The graphic assets are the same, but they look good. +Although the world is still very small, the optimization is not bad. -The main character is unattractive. I understand that characters from Daz are all the same, but here it's done poorly. -The controls are awkward. The character seems to be knee-deep in water. -The story is uninteresting. The main character's motivation feels artificial and unnatural. -There is only one lewd cutscene, and it is of very, very poor quality, both in terms of screen effects and animation. -I have nothing against AI art, but here it is done without any effort. I have been following other games by this developer for some time and see the same critical problems in this game - the use of the same character assets and a total lack of ideas. I'm sorry, but the game feels like it was made to make money rather than out of passion.
I just finished playing ([v0.0.15] version) and honestly, it left a pretty good impression, even if it felt a bit short. It's a third-person sci-fi survival horror game that's surprisingly well made, especially considering it was developed solo in Unreal Engine 5. Right from the start, you can feel the Dead Space vibes: dark hallways, constant tension... the atmosphere is spot on. The setting, the space station CANOPY-6, is really well built, and it totally gives off that "something went horribly wrong here" feeling. The story isn't anything we haven't seen before: a crew responding to a distress signal, an experiment gone to hell, the protagonist trapped and trying to survive... but it works. It pulls you in just enough to keep you curious about what happened, and the fact that the dialogue is fully voice-acted is a nice touch. The game features some pretty well-animated sex scenes. There are also pictures collectibles hidden around the map, but it's not overdone. It feels more like a bonus rather than the main focus, and it doesn't break the tension or mood. On top of that, you can customize the main character with different outfits and hairstyles, a small but pleasant surprise. The downside? It ends way too soon. Just when you're getting into it and wanting more, it's over. But what's there is promising. If the project keeps going and the story gets expanded, this could turn into something really cool. As for me, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it.
I played the previous version and it was fine, no issues for me. Dunno why such low ratings, probably in spite of "copying" But without any bias, the game runs great for me, had no bugs at all. Character is attractive. You explore and follow objectives. Graphics are great. Theres inventory system, but it can be improved. I havent seen sex scenes as i only played 0.1 early release. At the moment, game is great, so its 4 stars, it can be improved in all aspects so thats why its not a 5. Definitely gonna play next update so you know its on right track.
Currently, the game is riddled with problems making it unplayable unplayable. It is highly unoptimised, so no matter what settings my computer is begging for death There is basically no light except your flashlight which is practically useless because, instead of just putting it in you hand, they decided to make it a little drone that hovers beside you and can't aim for shit Everything important is IMPOSSIBLE to see. The actual buttons in settings, textboxes and popups, BLOODY INTERACTION INDICATORS. ALL of these are so small and so well camoflaged, that they are nigh imposible to see When scrolling on the lore notes, it takes about half a second for the text to fade back in. This makes it so hard to read and is incredibly annoying Progress was blocked by a bug that meant the equip button didn't appear got ai slop coming out the wazoo IDK where the game is going to go but currently, it's an unplayable mess
ver 0.0.12 Game boots fine so that's cool i guess. Melee? maybe someday lol. levels look aight but kinda samey ngl. but yeah... story just ain't grabbin me. some stuff's straight up weird – like how tf does a vent open a locked door? and why does MC sudenly know how to fix everyhting like she's highest grade electrician? MC herself? not really my thing.Animations feel stiff, and she moves like she’s walkin thru molasses. Controls lowkey fightin me the whole time. the lil drone light? bro’s wildin. shines anywhere but where you want. lots of AI art too, like way too much. makes it feel like a patchwork more than a game world nothing really pulls me in, just keeps remindin me of other stuff i’ve seen before. if the devs don’t switch things up and add somethin fresh soon, hard to see this one makin it big fr.
Really cool start! Played the first version and had a great time. The atmosphere is spot on — feels creepy and sexy at the same time. Cira looks great (love the customization options) and the NSFW content is already fun. Definitely looking forward to seeing where this goes
what is good about this project? - it has movement controls - it has lighting - it has an environment what is bad? - the AI-generated voice lines, story writing, terminal entries, random notes, and collectible "artwork" are both extremely obvious and devoid of any feeling - the plagiarized shot-for-shot scenes, plot, setting, environmental design, and reliance on AI-generated assets from (another certain WIP unreal engine game that shares an extremely similar name) are all very blatant, and it somehow delivers less on all fronts - the character design doesn't look very good - the movement and combat controls feel very slow and can be frustrating to finagle - the puzzle hints are really bad in some places; the flesh blob blocking the door to the crew quarters is supposed to give the player a tutorial on how to use the knife, but it doesn't show up unless they're standing right in front of the door while holding the knife - the key card that's supposed to open the next locked door is extremely difficult to find (I still have not found it after an hour of pixel hunting on every single horizontal surface) - the payoff for putting up with this combination of barely functional mechanics is also just a plagiarized bit, with a woman stuck in a goo wall that the player can look at and go "well this isn't good" conclusion: it feels like a very low-effort clone of a game whose premise is already being done to death with the "female protag gets into sexual misadventures" eroge subgenre. sadly, as a brainless consumer of this exact subgenre, I had to at least try it out, and I genuinely believe doing anything else would have been a better use of two hours.
