About The Hollow Throne
The Hollow Throne is a 2D Ren'Py adult adventure game by CaptainBl00d, using AI-generated CG art. You play Kaelreth, an evil mage who has defeated Archmage Vaelorn and taken his castle, powers, and body, aiming to dominate a fantasy realm. Three apprentices belonging to Vaelorn show up and disrupt his plans, so he guides them toward a true path. It includes lessons, minigames, stats, and a harem structure with humor and fantasy themes.
The current build is v0.2, released August 28, 2025, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, in English, with no censorship. The update adds three new lessons, one for each apprentice, and unlocks a second level of peeking. It includes special events for Elira on day 6 and Mirel on day 9, plus a simple day mechanic for navigation. Older art was improved, a saving bug was fixed, and choices are less buggy and better looking.
Developer's description
In this story, we follow Kaelreth—an evil mage who has just defeated his lifelong enemy, Archmage Vaelorn. Seizing his castle, his powers, and even his body, Kaelreth sets out to dominate the realm. However, unexpected visitors disrupt his plans: three of Vaelorn’s apprentices arrive at the castle, and now our MC must guide them… toward the "true" path.
