Rewired is a text-based HTML game by ToxicViperGames. It follows Aiden Cole, a twenty-year-old delivery worker crushed by student loans and rent, who takes a paid NovaCure Laboratories trial pill without reading the details. After waking up in a changed body, he faces the practical aftermath of transformation in an open-world life simulation. The build presents a grounded adult story with multiple endings and sandbox-style choices, using AI CG alongside text.
The current build is v0.2, dated August 15, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, uncensored. The update adds Day 2, where the protagonist first goes outside in a changed body, visits a thrift store with Dolores, encounters a catcall, and shops for underclothes. Day 2 becomes a non-linear hub with a location grid, including a corner store, walking trail, and laundromat with unique NPCs. Six new characters appear, and the update also adds a first cooked meal, a jar-lid gender moment, and optional slower bedtime exploration.

Aiden Cole is broke. Twenty years old, $23,400 in student loans, two months behind on rent, eating instant ramen for dinner because real food is a luxury. He delivers other people's meals on a dying electric scooter and goes home, to a studio apartment with a water stain on the ceiling shaped like a fist. Spoiler Then he sees a flyer: $2,000. One pill. One visit. NovaCure Laboratories. A pharmaceutical trial. He doesn't read the fine print. He doesn't ask what the pill does. He just needs the money. He swallows it. Goes home. Falls asleep. Wakes up as a woman . Soft Reset is an open-world life simulation about what happens after. Not the fantasy version - the real version. The panic attack on the bathroom floor.
